Metal Sonic should get the Galactia Knight treatment. He only appears rarely and when he does, he is the hardest fight in the game. Kinda like in Sonic the Fighters.
@@SaiyanScholar either that or make him talk and actually be scary. Like, what if he took controller of all of eggmans other "character" robots like silver Sonic (Genesis), silver Sonic (game gear) Mecha Sonic, metal knuckles (Sonic advance), metal knuckles (Sonic r), tails doll (Sonic r) and many other robots as well. He needs to be the MAIN villian in a Sonic game. Not like heroes where he is only the ex boss but the villian throuough the full game. I would call the game... Sonic: Robo Rampage!
@@beatziegraham6928 I'd go for a title more like... "Sonic Matrix". Maybe. I'm also reminded of this... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Y_4RfTx1kzM.html
Eggman: _while personally repairing Metal Sonic_ How dare he! Sonic wouldn’t know a work of art if it punched him in the face... You did punch Sonic in the face, right? Metal: _Thumbs up_ Eggman: *Attaboy!*
Mephiles was trash, a cheap ass coward, is dumber then fans realize, killed Sonic in the most cheap anti climactic way making you question why didn't he just do that from the very beginning and doesn't even have any interaction with Sonic at all. There I said it! Bite me Mephiles fans! Metal should have been the one who finally gets to kill Sonic. Also Mephiles ain't EVER coming back after being flat out erased from time and existance.
@@robonaught mephiles is sadistic. His motives are nonsense since sadistic villains are only there to see others suffer. Mephiles wanted silver to be the reason why iblis destroyed the world and wanted shadow to betray humanity. Mephiles manipulates silver and tries to do the same to shadow which only improved shadow as a character. You could say the same thing about the joker since joker in batman beyond beat batman but refused to kill batman himself and tried to get a brainwashed Robin to kill batman but joker got killed instead. You are right about him never coming back nor should he come back since he filled his role and will get ruined if he came back. Metal should be more like metallix from smbz. Just look at episode 2 of the reboot. That's what metal sonic should be like. Not manipulative but just straight up brutally and raw power. Smbz is the perfect representation of metal sonic which in the lore of the series it's just metal sonic that fused with other sonic robots.
There is an interesting theory, that Robotnik didn't actually build Metal. In sonic CD animals were being robotized entirely. there are also multiple futures where sonic saves or fails to save the world, meaning sonic himself may have been robotized in the bad future after he failed. which would explain why he has so many personality traits similar to sonic as well. (like the cocky finger wave)
He's low-key the coolest character in the franchise and a most interesting fan theory about him is that he's the original Sonic and the one we have running around is a clone (- ^ )
In generations was said to be the same world just two different times but forces yeah that game with “the best final boss ever” has Tails recons it has two separate universes
Personally, I think Metal Sonic (and honestly the whole cast) could use a design upgraded/update. Outside of that I think in order for metal to be taken more seriously, his story needs a bit of an revision. - Metal should be Eggman's greatest weapon - Metal should go rogue and have his own agenda - Metal should never return to eggman even after defeat - Metal should be willing to learn new ways to fight and get stronger. - Metal's goal should always be to defeat Sonic (his original purpose) - Metal should only transform once. 'Super Form' - Metal's abilities should be equal to or greater than that of Sonic's.
Not really. He's portrayed PERFECTLY in the IDW comics. He's powerful, but retains eggmans weaknesses, which is why he loses. He beat sonic, but lost in the long run. That kind of thing
I feel like Metal can go rogue sometimes, but only in accentuating his desire of destroying Sonic. But as in leaving Eggman, no. His relationship with Eggman is a beneficial thing. As for it being Eggman’a greatest Weapon No. Eggman should improve power for villains like infinite or the death egg. But Metal Sonic should be his favorite weapon
One way I've been interpreting the character is how from the moment his existence began, Metal Sonic's identity had been stolen from him. His design, his abilities, his name, it all revolves around someone else... and that pisses him off. To put it in more robotic or computerized terms, imagine trying to create a new file with the same name, format, and location as another file. (Let's say that file is "Sonic".) You can't, because you'll get an pseudo-error message telling you to either rename the file (or put it back if you moved it to the same place as the file that's a close enough match), or have the new file replace the old file. That is what Metal Sonic is doing. But since he still can't kill Sonic, he can't "hit the 'replace file' button", so to speak. He's effectively stuck perpetually with this exact error message stuck in his head that he can't get rid of. Metal Sonic cannot keep his own identity as long as Sonic lives. His entire existence revolves around another person... and it pisses him off.
it would be nice if they had another appearance tho for the most part their existence in canon is kinda shaky since both were pretty much just metal bonus characters in sonic r but there is so much potential for them they havent even really had any characterization in game so the story potential is unlimited
Nowadays people just think of Tails Doll as some shitty "zOmG bLoOd" Sonic.EXE-esque creepypasta character, make him more intimidating and bring him back better than ever.
The thing i find funny about metal is that his modern incarnation has never actually been bested by Sonic alone. Its alwayas Sonic With a partner: Sonic 4 - tails, Heroes - tails and knuckles, Forces - player character. I don't know why SEGA have done this, but it could be a hint that Sonic alone can't actually defeat Metal Sonic.
Well its been said that Metal is highly adaptable in a 1v1 because hes collecting data as hes fighting. Once he has that download at a 100 you pretty much lost the fight. Its why you need someone to help fight him as he cant download effectively because he needs to focus on 2 or more people all at once while still fighting.
Sorry man, I disagree with the “needless forms” argument. Also I think sonic heroes actually added a lot of depth to metal sonic, if you care to hear me out I will do so. Neo metal sonic, as he said, was programmed to kill and be better then sonic (unlike his ova counterpart where he was just suppose to copy him, not be better). This programming must have gotten to metal as he is going to insane lengths to achieve his goals, and as noted by super sonic, has become a monster in the process. Metal sonic, during the metal madness/overlord phase, even states that he “is no longer afraid of anything” indicating that metal sonic could actually feel emotion and feared not being better then sonic, fearing he would not foresake his whole reason to exist. I mean just look at him at this state, he really has become a monster, and at the end, while the “we’re sonic heroes”’ line is.. something that was said.. it’s true. Metal sonic will never be sonic, and becoming a gross mechanical monster won’t change that. Also metal sonic kai and neo metal Sonics forms are just really cool, at least I think so. Metal sonic kai shows what happens when power falls into the wrong hands, and Neo metal Sonics forms show what happens when one is single minded (I.e, only filling one purpose) But hey, that’s just my stance. Super good video, keep up the good work my man I love your channel.
Just the only thing I never liked about Neo metal is his design, Love his motive, his personality and cunningness in his character. I just wish that would all go to base Metal. As not only would make Metal's overused appearance in the game a much more appropriate welcome but also that It just seems to make sense for him. Never understood why they had to put Metal into a completely different form for him to do all that. But hey that's just coming from me as a person not very fond of Neo's design. I can completely understand if your opinion is different tho.
Metal Sonic in the movie displayed his power perfectly. He was a real threat. SonicHeroes showed his intellect and stepped up his display of having a conscience. The comic books really show character that we can accept as having narrative cohesion. If it was me, I'd basically make Neo Metal Sonic his super form, found through Chaos Energy. We know how powerful Super Sonic is. Imagine Metal Sonic with that same type of power boost... Metal Sonic is Eggman's greatest creation and I'd really like them to remind us in a new game.
Movie metal sonic what are you talking about?Metal sonic was never in the movie. The movie is an origin story for sonic that probably took place before sonic 1.
I like neo metal Sonic's design. I thought it was like a modern metal Sonic. But yes, if you aren't the main hero or the main villain, you aren't important.( Sega Logic) yet another similarity between Dragonball and Sonic.
Metal sonic is an interesting villain from the sonic series. He first appeared in CD then he wasn't seen until adventure 2 where he's being repaired till his big come back in sonic heroes where he might have been the strongest final boss of all sonic when he copied chaos data and became metal madness. I also don't know if super metal sonic or metalix counts as metal sonic which was in sonic 3 and knuckles. Metal sonic is probably most iconic for his appearance in the sonic ova. He's definitely an interesting sonic villain and his design is quite cool while I prefer gmerl over his design though. Metal sonic could as be a metal version of a sonic from a failed timeline but that's not cannon.
Wrong, he had a cameo in SA1 in one of the test tubes in Final egg hub stage along with robo/silver Sonic. I think he might have appeared in Sonic R as well IIRC.
If we could streamline the amount of characters in the series, I'd definitely pick Metal Sonic as Sonic's main rival, the thing that Eggman sends after Sonic multiple times, and Eggman's last line of defense before whatever giant machine he has for the final boss is. As for the rest of the cast, of course Sonic and Tails are there, and Knuckles would be more of a friendly rival, he wants to one up Sonic and beat Eggman on his own after being tricked by him in Sonic 3, but works with them when the situation calls for it. Eggman is of course the main villain, and should always be the main villain. If there's a villain team up it should be Metal teaming up with Sonic, with him adapting and becoming more like Sonic, only being kept under Eggman's control with mind wipes or something. And Amy would be the most minor of the main characters, but she would be the most important in regards to metal Sonic. She's the catalyst for any kind of growth metal goes through.
Metal Sonic is indeed the most badass villain in Sonic Hystory. If there's a way I could make him more superior than Sonic, I would just tell the writers to make Metal Sonic more superior than Sonic so that Sonic wouldn't have to fight him alone. Metal Sonic is the true rival to Sonic and I want it to be like that forever.
The only positive thing that came out of his progressive deterioration of intimidation is he's now adorable. I'm sure everyone probably wants a adorable little metal Sonic of their own.
Metal Sonic, to me, has always managed to stay the same in some regard. He's a learning machine, being THE fastest thing alive and stronger than Sonic in every way. Many of Metal Sonic's battles show him off as one who is utterly determined to become the only Sonic, which is extremely fitting. Let's look at each one of Metal's apperances after CD. Triple Trouble did Metal a bit dirty, but at least gave him a pretty cool cinematic, showing him outspending Sonic. It's not hard to assume his repairs weren't finished, explaining why he wasn't at full strength. Knuckles Chaotix didn't do Metal very good, but you could chalk that up to Eggman's stupidity....I guess. Sonic The Fighters. Hell yeah; Metal's awesome in this game! Despite being VERY cheap, it at least matches how powerful he is with the seven Chaos Emeralds being the only way anybody could stop him. Heroes Metal Sonic, while seemingly flawed, it actually pretty smart. It shows just how intelligent and utterly _insane_ the robot is. It's...almost sad to be honest. He's driven now by pure rage and managed to trick everybody and transformed into possibly the most powerful being in the Sonic Universe: Metal Overlord. It took the likes of Team Dark, Team Rose & Team Chaotix JUST to stall Metal Madness and Super Sonic, Super Tails & Super Knuckles had to use their very strongest attack TOGETHER just to deal a tiny bit of damage to Metal Overlord! Still, Metal lost and reality hit him hard. The poor robot was just so depressed after losing, only wanting to beat Sonic but just can't ever seem to succeed. Rivals 2 showed that Eggman had restrained Metal Sonic to be more obedient, but the robot actually made a heroic sacrifice at the end by ripping out his chest's core so Shadow could get them home. Metal just wants to BE the real Sonic; nothing else. He's an insane and utterly depressing character who's power is terrifying. Even with Eggman restricting him, Metal manages to still keep his very soul but never gives up at trying to kill Sonic. While sometimes he can just be taken out easily, Mania Adventures did Metal justice. Not only did his own independent plan on obtaining Mighty's Chaos Emerald work, the Chaos Emeralds empowered Metal Sonic and made him able to take on and best Sonic, Tails, Mighty & Ray all at once. The only thing that stopped him was Tails turning Robotnik's contraptions against him, but even then he tried to use the Master Emerald to charge up...until Knuckles sent both flying. It does make sense as Metal was quite damaged at that point and Knuckles wasn't holding back at all. The special episode of the series really shows just how Metal Sonic truly feels deep down inside. His character, shown in the OVA, Heroes, Rival 2 & even Mania Adventures itself culminates here. The poor guy, severely damaged, gets abandoned by Eggman. Once discovered by Amy, it's shown that Metal is utterly depressed and has lost the will to continue living. It really shows that, deep down, all he wants to do is try to replace Sonic, but the world keeps denying him at every turn. But with Amy getting Metal Sonic back to Eggman's base, she actually affects the robot mentally: showing kindness. The pink hedgehog, who he kidnapped in the past, is now the only person who has ever shown Metal any sort of kindness or compassion. It was a new feeling with metal being a bit confused, but somewhat touched at her gesture. Notice at the very end, Metal still has the flower Amy gave him. It's really adorable! And with that, Metal Sonic's character has opened up a new path. Could he be redeemed? What would happen if Amy and Metal met up again? It all leaves things up to the imagination and I really hope more can be done with Metal Sonic. In fact, what if Eggman rebuilds Silver Sonic or Mecha Sonic? How would Metal feel? I think he would go berserk and try to destroy ANY Sonic, including Sonic robots as it's just what he was created to do. Either way, Metal is one of the most powerful characters in the series and is extremely persistent, smart and yet emotional. He's never been an enemy; just one who's trying to do their best.
I mean super sonic's creator was a dragon ball fan.But thetpt did the twist that even though the master emerald can neutralize the emeralds and power them up,their power is kinda independent the chaos emeralds can still be used if the master emerald is shattered, besides their origin is really neat.
I just like to imagine in "Heroes", he was asking why he can't win in total seriousness, and if he had the energy, would have throttled Sonic on the spot. "Sonic the Fighters" is probably his best appearance, because he *will* kick the shit out of you. Shame he hasn't been able to do that since. And yeah, the newest comics give him more love. He's an actual threat and seems fully capable of acting on his own, though he's (surprisingly enough) loyal to Robotnik.
My favourite Metal Sonic moment is from the Archie Comics, in the issue where he challenges Sonic to a race to the top of a mountain. That whole issue is one of the best stories in Sonic media.
The portrail I'd love to have of him is one where, while Sonic jokes about with Eggman as usual, He always gets serious when Metal Sonic shows up, as well as metal having importance to the story of a Sonic game once again. He has the potential to be one of the series scariest villains, but he's just portraid as Eggmans mindless killer drone
@@SaiyanScholar Personally I liked the design of Neo Metal Sonic he looks more menacing and is more stronger in that form that I like to see make a return. That form had the potential tb used in a better way but who gives a shit anyomore since Sega hardly has interest in Metal now
Personally, I think the main problem with Metal Sonic is that he hasn't been a primary antagonist in years (primarily being designated to an obligatory cameo, as you said). Even in games like mania, which gave him probably the best representation in current years, he is still treated as a one time boss. Despite this, I see hope for characters like Metal and Knuckles in the classic continuity, as the mania devs seem to be interested in referencing previous game characters, so I prosume they might use him for more next time around (especially after the Mania Shorts). As for the modern continuity,,,,,,,,, we'll have to wait and see I guess, though I do see at least a glimmer of hope as those devs seem to love reusing certain gameplay mechanics and characters (**cough** **cough** wisps **cough** **cough** Shadow **cough** **cough** ).
Hey Shadows not that bad… okay yeah he is **** forces maybe that’s a idea for a video talk about how sonic ruined their of having Shadow be like Vageta in DBZ slowly realizing that Sonic is better than him and so he goes off on a self discovery journey inorder to find what he’s better than sonic at now that’s what shadow the hedgehog should have been about
Metal was supposed to have his own side story much like the characters in Sonic 06, and it would’ve apparently explored his relationship with Sonic, Eggman, Shadow (perhaps a prelude to Rivals 2) and Tails of all people, as well as shine a light on Metal’s mindset. Sadly this story was scrapped along with many others when 06 wasn’t meeting time constraints, and to be fair, I can see why they perhaps wouldn’t fully introduce the Shadow and Metal dynamic in that game, considering the former had his hands full with Mephiles.
When you brought up that Metal sonic was a badnik, it gave me an idea for a really cool sonic game. What if Eggman captured sonic and the majority of his friends and put them into Metal versions, similar to how the rest of his badniks are powered by animals. Then you had to go through the game and defeat these metal versions with whoever escaped, unlocking new characters as you free them from their robots, and eventually having to defeat a Super Metal Sonic that uses a sonic as a power source as the last boss, having to use all the characters you unlocked to defeat him. Then to encourage replayability, have a mode where you can play all the stages as Sonic, but only after you've beaten the main story and free'd him. I think it'd be a really cool change of pace that gives other characters in the series a chance to shine, and could be done in either 2D style or 3D.
Honestly It's a shame that metal was at first seen as imposing and a threat but now looking at him has been used as a joke but you know what #METALSONICISGODAMNWASTEDPOTENTIAL BECAUSE SEGA WANTED IT THAT WAY
I like him being an antihero even when he didn’t the OVA including the fact that he saves the president and the old owl and he was gonna change sides to good but then he ended up falling in love dying I hope he was brought back well not is another metal sonic but the hyper metal sonic the old one in the OVA and I was been better give him his own movie
"Terminator Sonic" is the perfect description of Metal Sonic You saw the OVA as well, when Robotnik took Sonic's data and fused it with the robot, he was no longer just a machine. For the rest of the OVA, despite following Robotnik's orders because his programming forced him to and fighting Sonic because "there can be only one Sonic" he clearly shared Sonic's personality and memories, to the point the two even had a telepathic connection that allowed Tails to break the control his programming had over him. For all that matter, he was a Sonic with a Terminator body and that's what made him terrifying back then.
I've always loved metal sonic but one of the moments that made him one of my favourite characters was actually in the IDW comics in his 'Reflections' mini-comic, which you should all absolutely go read because I think it makes metal sonic have a lot more nuance to his character and the art is also just AMAZING
4:01 but neo looks really cool and also i feel that is his way to stand out from sonic and to be something different than just a metal clone of sonic and also he was great on IDW
Metal is probably my second favourite villain (behind Mephiles) so you know he's not leaving that easily in my rewrite universe. If I made my Forces rewrite an actual fan-game, he would even be a playable character! And actually have a good part in the story! (Except, he'd have a slightly different design and abilities.)
In the Classic Sonic games, there was Silver Sonic Mark 1 from Sonic 2 (8-bit), Silver Sonic Mark 2 from Sonic 2 (16-bit), Metal Sonic from Sonic CD and Mecha Sonic from the Sonic 3 series.
Metal had the potential to be the Vegeta of the Sonic universe. Evil villain -> rival -> unlikely ally -> antihero, all while exploring Metal's personality and goals, one of which would be to best Sonic's speed. Imagine the juxtaposition of having a machination try to best something organic, afterall, the whole thing about Sonic's world is trying to prevent Eggman from robotizing things and taking over the world. Having Metal fight against the very essence that he is would be so compelling.
Oh Tails, what did they do to you? He's now abit of a wimp who can't do anything without Sonic. I know most sight Chaos 0 in Forces, but even before that he's seen him cowering at regular Eggman troops he would have smashed without breaking a sweat back in day. Whatever happened to the little fox who could from the Adventure days who saved Station Square by beating Eggman all by himself? With Forces Sega could have ran with his confidence being shaken, while fighting the war against Eggman, only to then double down it more so - as the line of Tails has lost it suggests - after Infinite "kills" Sonic - even though this wouldn't be the first time he sees Sonic being "killed" as in SA2 rather than breaking down, when he sees Sonic being ejected from the ARK to his death, he becomes more vengeful while fighting Eggman but lets roll with it - hence why he's having the hard time fixing up Omega and getting scared when Chaos appears. But then when classic Sonic appears, all that goes out the window and he's back normal again, and back to not being able to do anything without Sonic. That Tails vs Chaos video by Mike Darklighter could have been good example of how to do it that. It retains Classic Sonic involvement but puts Tails over as a strong capable character by himself and then they could go about building him (and his confidence) back up again ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tIfhrc0SSjE.html Now I'm not saying Tails (or anyone else) shouldn't get scared - no courage without fear and all that - as (in SA1) before setting off to stop Eggman he has a moment of worry and panic where he's "aww man, this isn't looking good.... Sonic's not here and if I screw up its game over man!" But then he digs deep, and puts hope and courage into practice, as he puts himself over as the little fox who could. Man I miss old Tails, but I guess at least Tyson Hesse gave him back some credibility with the Mania Adventure shorts, as he helped Sonic fight Eggman and Metal Sonic.
Metal Sonic may be my favourite my fav sonic character due to how he looks and how he has way more abilities than Sonic. What's sad is that Metal Sonic never used all of his abilities in a battle (Although it would be chaotic). #MetalSonicisGODDAMNWastedPotential
you know. if sonic heroes ever gets remade or revisited, i think there should be an episode metal explaining just *HOW* metal sonic overthrew eggmans empire. just imagine: metal sonic doesn't have friends or need a team, he can switch between "power" "flight" and "speed" modes. eggman doesn't just give up his empire without a fight. he throws *EVERYTHING* at him through the campaign, beginning with his re-activation on little planet. installing a few upgrades to help in his quest to destroy sonic, including a VERY dangerously glitchy system that causes metal sonic to become self-aware and think he is sonic, and that eggman was holding him back the whole time. eggman flees, and metal sonic would go through all the campaign levels, with eggrobos piloting the boss robots. the final battle would be against the egg overlord (which is VERY similar to metal overlord in terms of the design and the fight) which metal sonic just trashes. a beaten eggman is locked away as he creates 4 clones of eggman to act as decoys, then assumes sonics form to begin sonic heroes story proper.
i just realized that metal sonic is actually better in most fan games then main games also what if he metal could have his own game where hes just a bad ass
Metal Sonic is my Favorite Antagonist he should be given the SECRET boss treatment which allow him to Transform into Super Metal or Neo Metal/Super Neo Metal, and actual metal copy of sonic who can use his abilities on much superior scale and also take on Chao Energy better than other badnik as he Eggman/Robonik ultimate creation basically Shadow the Hedgehog to Roboniks/Gerald and also Metal has unique Abilities to him that separate him form the real sonic hopefully Metal Sonic put back on the throne as sonic Ultimate Enemy and True Arch Rival Shout Out to Saiyan Scholar and all your videos and the care you have for these Characters I your What the Hell??? and Wasted Potiential!!!!!
Metal Sonic really does have the potential to play a very important role in the series. He's already shown to canonically be independent of Eggman, perhaps even bearing resentment toward his old master. The series already has a silly bowser-esque villain for Sonic to defeat again and again in the form of Eggman. I suppose the idea behind this is the series' cartoony roots, to show that Sonic is cooler and always on top. However, I feel it kinda has the opposite effect. When Sonic just casually beats Eggman's machines over and over, it's just not impressive and kinda makes him look more lame than cool. On the contrary, whenever Eggman pulls out some super-powerful monster or machine that really pushes Sonic to his limits; like Perfect Chaos, Dark Gaia, or Final Weapon from Doomsday Zone; it creates some of the most iconic battles in the series that are fondly remembered by many. There's an air of suspense in these fights where Sonic isn't actually certain he can win that really gets the player invested. Metal Sonic has the potential to bring that to the table every time. Where Sonic would defeat Eggman no problem, he would struggle immensely with Metal. He would have to get creative, use whatever advantages he had over the robot. Maybe Metal Sonic manages to collect the emeralds and, unable to use the power of the emeralds to counter them himself, Sonic has to rely on the one advantage he does have: his friends. There are so many different directions you could take this character even with just one game.
Just make him Vergil or... Okay ı was thinking this for a really long time ı was thinking of 4 Game story arc For Metal First game as a normal sonic game with maybe much more adventure type mechanics this game doesn't set up for Metal tho. İt set ups for a broken İnfinte. Yes ı wanna redeem him as well. With this first game we are gonna have end credits that shows us how he is behind this games plot. But not just that too. İn this game we can go G.U.N as well and we see Metal Sonic(after heroes) in one of the cells. But interestingly he holds a flower(yes it's from sonic mania adventures). I wanna use sonic mania adventures too give him a interesting character. I mean yes he hates sonic because he always tries to be better than him but what about his friends(tails, knuckles, amy) that would be interesting. But lets talk about the second game. Second game is gonna be a interesting one Because it's actually gonna be Metal sonic game(not gonna be like shadow). I'm thinking this game would be about Metal some how escapes from his cell (maybe with someones help) and then tries to collect his lost memory data of Sonic, Shadow, Chaos and with new data as well And that data will be Super Sonic. I'm even thinking this datas gonna be boss fights. And final boss is gonna be data sonic and Super sonic. Of course this game gonna be a much more deep character look for Metal as well. Uh and Gameplay would be Hack and slash Of course not like werehog much more of a faster gameplay.(I dunno ı feel like metal sonic would be a great Hack and slash character). And in the end we are gonna see İnfinte Finally starts to attack So third game is gonna be İnfinity war. As sonic you are gonna try to defeat infinte once and for all. And as final boss we are gonna have Super Sonic fights with fully evolved İnfinite. And his fight gonna be the limit of Super Sonic. So it's gonna be hard And in the end you will defeat infinite... But in end credits Metal gonna steal the Phantom ruby But sonic gonna try to stop Metal. He is gonna become Super sonic again and you are gonna try to catch and beat Metal. But He is gonna dodge every attack of yours and in the end he is gonna BEAT SONİC(thats important). And when he was gonna finish sonic. Sonics friends gonna came and metal just gonna stop and run. Fourth game This is the end ı'm gonna try my best to explain it. After the last battle Sonic lost the chaos emeralds again and Metal is looking for them too and he is looking for The Time stones too. And it's gonna be the half of the game. Search for emeralds and Time stones. But in the end Sonic gonna lose again and we are gonna see Metals true intentions. Well he want's to be sonic so with this Power he is gonna rewrite all the history around him. And seemingly he is gonna delete Og sonic too (Or he thinks). And maybe we have a stage where it's green hill zone and you plays as sonic but slowly sonic turns to Metal sonic. Okay now what happened to Sonic well he is actually on Angel İsland With Master emerald. Master emerald saves him and takes every chaos emeralds and turns them into... Super emeralds. Maybe sonic say something like "ı never fully powered up those or something"(S3k) And it's all gonna be about powered them this time. And Metal gonna understand that and He is gonna try to stop you with all your friends. Sonics friends gonna be boss fights. And every character you defeat gonna realize who you are and in the end you are gonna fight Metal. Of course first fight is gonna be the Super Sonic part but not as Super this time as Hyper Sonic. İn the background Games main themes remix is gonna play like modern games but this time Hyper sonic fight isn't gonna be end. İn the end it's just gonna be 1v1 with Metal in a Volcano. This time music gonna be From Crush 40 and this is gonna be a fair fight between them. But in the end there is not gonna be a winner. Yes you are gonna beat him but in the end Sonics friends gonna show up but Volcano İs gonna start to explode as well. İn the end Metal and Sonic is gonna agree to save His friends and İn the end there is gonna be Amy, a stone is gonna nearly crush her but Metal is gonna save it. And while Sonic tries to save everyone Metal just gonna give The flower she gave to him back. And we are gonna see metal trys to hold everything while sonic saves Amy too and well... Metal Sonic gonna be beaten and redeemed. Well ı made quite a long fanfic ı guess. I hope it isn't sound too much... Sonic Fanficy I hope ı writed right too. Soo yeah Metal sonic is one of my favourite rival and ı want him to become his best.
I really enjoyed Metal Sonic in Sonic Rivals 2 even though he was a hero character he had such an interesting story to tell alongside Shadow and I wish they continued on that line
bro i love metal sonics design so much and how he was created. IT PAINS ME to see possible character development to only be used as an easy side kick beat up toy. This character was so badass with silence and had some moves to back it up,how awesome does that sound? he also had a mind of his own too which is pretty scary for a robot. they shoudl revamp and give him a game of his own or something that would bring back some major respect. #SAVEMETALSONIC
Bro Metal Sonic is a cold killing machine with still a sense of being some sort of person despite being a robot, that's what makes him stand out to most fans and it should be how SEGA treats him. Not like... This.
You are absolutely right about Metal Sonic and I still can see him a good feeling as well as a good counter to Sonic; and the movie too make me love the character as well!
When my little sister encountered Metal Sonic in Sonic Mania for the first time, I quote her, "Holy Chao! Metal means business!" And that brought me great joy, to see someone actually be intimidated by this wonderful character who fell from grace.
6:40 OMG THAT WAS MY FAVORITE METAL SONIC MOMENT THE WAY HE SACRIFICES HIMSELF SAYING THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE SONIC IT MADE HIM MY NUMBER ONE FAVORITE SONIC CHARACTER'S
Sonic the Fighters and Sonic Adventure 2's multiplayer mode absolutely do Metal Sonic justice. Unfortunately, that's about it as far as games go. However, in the comics, Metal Sonic kicks ass for a little bit. The best thing they can do with this character is have him fight characters other than Sonic. After all, you can't just have a villain who is hands-down stronger than the main character, otherwise you have a major issue with getting your hero to succeed. Instead, have Metal Sonic be a symbol of fear to Sonic's friends, and in turn, to Sonic himself, who cares for them.
The *original* Metal Sonic was extremely badass, and made Metal Mario (a very cool transformation IMO) look like an absolute joke by comparison. It was a great concept: Eggman is a genius scientist, and Sonic is the fastest thing alive. *What happens when you put the two together?* I do agree that everything after his original appearance convoluted the original concept of a robotic Sonic. For instance, what's even the point of building the robot to look like Sonic if it's not going to be running at light speed? I had thought the whole point of building a Sonic robot was to emulate and enhance Sonic's performance-- not merely corrupt his image. If the robot didn't need to look like Sonic to go fast, couldn't Eggman have build a bunny or something instead? That would've been a great opportunity, but they never went with it. The comics at least gave us Bunnie Rabbot, who I wish we could've seen in the games. What I will say is this... "Character development" is not really something that ever works out well for robots, so I disagree that they should've developed Metal Sonic any further. Truthfully, I think E-102 Gamma is probably the only case of robot character development I've ever seen pulled off successfully in video game writing. Any other time, it comes off as cliche` at best, and Metal Sonic's "betrayal" was no exception. I would therefore say that, instead of trying and failing to develop Metal Sonic any further, they should've simply had him continue to do exactly what he does best, and just feed him new power-ups once in awhile.
I always enjoyed the Sonic robots, Silver, Mecha & Metal (Why not more?!), each one feeling like an upgrade from the last design. I *did* like the idea of Metal Overlord, although the execution was rough at best. I also like the idea of him being Sonic from an alternate timeline, that idea would be fun to explore. But ultimately, I believe his character suffers from the franchise's biggest problem, not knowing what it wants to be. I'm sure someday we'll get a well thought-out story, but until then... #MetalSonicIsGoddamnWastedPotential ... & *GREAT* video!😎👍
first of all, this guy sounds welsh, like me, awesome. awesome video, awesome editing, non toxic member of the sonic fandom XD but seriously, i loved this vid. im subscribing :)
The IDW comics are actually great. Being set in the video game universe does bring baggage for Metal, sadly, but they do pretty well with him! They basically do a redux of Heroes' arc for Metal but with good writing instead of whatever Heroes had.
Metal Sonic is wasted potential. Agreed, he's my favourite since the first appearence aswell. he is one of the best ideas for the franchise that were ever there and he is really been taken off the spotlight.THIS CHARACTER IS NEEDED TO BE TAKEN MORE SERIOUSLY!
I like the sonic heroes version of Metal Sonic, but I do agree that he has down-graded ever since (especially in forces) and I hope that they do him justice if he gets included in future Sonic movies (as the second movie did a perfect job on characterising Knuckles and Tails).
