METAL VOCALIST REACTS TO BTS JK COVERS! 

I believe Hybe sees JK as best suited for pop music. PDogg has said before that JK has the ideal vocal tone for pop music but if you listen to the music he listens to or sings it is a wide range of genres. He is known for sharing music he likes with us. He shares music from all over the world. Sometimes they are big artists but they are just as likely to be a small artist I’ve never heard of. He has said a couple of times he wants to share different types of music with Army. I would love if we got a song with his voice & the piano. I also would love an acoustic guitar song. For JK’s writing style I think it’s best to look at Still With You, Magic Shop, Stay. He also composed Your Eyes Tell & Film Out, both along with Stay were ones he wrote for his solo album. He didn’t have any writing credits in Euphoria. That song was written for Justin Bieber by American & Canadian writers. He didn’t use it so it was offered to JK. There is a Korean professor on twitter that translates BTS lyrics & I’ve always thought he was interesting to hear his opinions. He says JK as a lyricist/composer is a force to be reckoned with. He said his use of vocabulary & figurative devices is impressive. In my opinion some of the most beautiful harmonies in BTS music were written by JK. I have always said the songs he writes showcase each members vocals so well. It is like he wrote those parts for their voice. His Harry Styles “Falling” cover is my favorite but I love any of his covers. Falling is his most recent studio cover. He did these 3 covers when he was just a teenager. I love them all but his vocal skills have been upgraded since then.

I always feel like Jungkook perfectly embodies whatever emotion or tone any song needs. Perfectly. Like his voice is whatever the song requires. No matter the genre. What an astonishing talent! Nobody else has that kind of range and emotionality. 💜 I'd definitely watch an episode where you watch his solo songs. You've already seen Euphoria, so I'd recommend My Time, Begin, My You, and Still With You.

What I really love about Jungkook is that he has such a rich, enthusiastic and steady vocal arrangement with a great versatility in his singing skills. His lower tones are so beautifully balanced between the soft breathiness and the fullness of his powerful rich sounding vocals, I really love the slightly rasp he has as well. I recommend listening to his cover of Harry Style’s song ‘Falling’, it’s so beautiful and pretty recent too! 🥰

I have always loved JK's voice. It's so silky smooth. One of my fav covers is Falling by Harry Styles. I remember hearing it on the radio done by HS and thought, "Meh, it's OK," but when JK did the cover, I absolutely loved!! And do I even have to mention the FIFA World Cup song? He sounds amazing!!

Jungkook has the best voice, he can sing just about anything, I love when he goes live and just sings for like 2 hrs and he has perfect pitch, his a cappella is just as beautiful, he doesn’t need anything just his voice, ah how wonderful it would be to just listen to him all day, he doesn’t even need lyrics, he’ll sing about anything 😂

With Jungkook's voice it's simply amazing. Everytime JK covers a song though I'm not familiar with it, he's just making the song more popular. Luv yah JK for sharing your voice with us. 💜💜💜💜

I can listen to JK all day and not get bored. JK is so versatile.

Jungkook’s covers are so beautiful and he does so many too! Some other ones I recommend that are produced: - Lost Stars - Fools (feat RM) - Falling - Paper Hearts - 2U - Sofa - We don’t talk Anymore (there’s a version with just him and one with him and Jimin) - Jk also has an iconic song called “Decalcomania” that is worth checking out

The thing I would say is you can’t really put JK’s singing into one box. He only shows x side in BTS songs and even in his lives but sometimes you get hints of talents and tones that we haven’t heard from him before. I’d say that’s true of most of the guys, but especially JK. He’s so good at what he needs to do for BTS and is great at mimicking people but there’s so much more. These are really old covers so would love to see you do more recent ones, especially Never Not and Falling.

He's my favorite vocalist in BTS 💜 I love how well he conveys emotions every time he sings. His voice is very soothing and melts my heart like honey. I would also recommend to check out JK's cover of Leave The Door Open, 2U and Falling. These three are so freaking good

He records covers that outshine the originals. I think these are the best ones: "Falling," "Paper Hearts," "2U", "Fools" and "Lost Stars". There's a fragment of a song he wrote called "Decalcomania" that is simply the greatest song that was never heard. He only wrote a shred of it, and he ended up deleting it. Thank God someone managed to record the bit that he had put out. It's worth a listen, but it's so good it's heartbreaking that he never finished it, so be warned. He also does a great "10,000 Hours" and there's a nice cover he did with Jimin of "We Don't Talk Anymore."

John, you are FAR younger than I. You relate this last song to the 70’s, if I recall correctly. On the other hand, I relate it to lavish Hollywood romantic musicals from the 1940’s which my sister and I watched in black and white on Saturday afternoons in the 1960’s when we were in elementary school. 🤣🥰 Wouldn’t it be fabulous to hear Jungkook singing these songs live? I bet the entire audience would be silent -- except for the sounds of sobbing - until wild jubilation broke out at the end of the song!

Others you might not have heard before: JK & RM "I Know" and "Fools," and there are others with JK solo called "Lost Stars," "Falling" by Harry Styles, "If You" by Big Bang and "Paper Hearts." Don't know who originally did "Paper Hearts," but "Fools" is by Troye Sivan and "Lost Stars" by Adam Levine. They're all beautiful. 💜

I love his covers. Falling is my favorite. Harry Styles put a raw emotion on it, whereas Jk put soft, heart breaking emotion on it. Both are great! Pick your poison. This guy was meant to sing. He may do everything perfect, but he is definitely a singer, front and foremost. Btw, he did not write Euphoria. It was mostly written by DJ Swivel and Candace Sosa, and Melanie Fontana. One of the women said she wrote it with Justin Bieber in mind, but he turned it down. Then when Bighit got it and tweaked it, Bang PD, Supreme Boi, Adora , and Rm were added to the songwriting credits. If you want a better idea of jk songs, check out Decalcomania and Your Eyes Tell.
