I appreciate you guys commenting on the Silver Spoon meaning, as well as the Ratatouille line! I did call that line a double entendre but got too excited about the animated movie "Ratatouille" and glossed over the fact that it's a dish which is ALOT more accurate in the song's context haha! In some live performances they have one more drop, which is a dance break at the end. I really recommend, it's amazing.

"They are done with the haters." Thank you, you're one of the only one who understands the message of this song. It's basically the unofficial conclusion of their cypher serie (and pretty much the last time they address a song to the haters) on their albums. (2 other diss tracks to note after : "Ddaeng" but isn't on their albums and "UGH" which on Map Of The Soul 7 but is more a diss track against hate itself)

The “Sue it” line is also an inside diss that the fans understand but outsiders might not. There was another big band supported by one of the biggest entertainment agencies during BTS rise and their fans when BTS finally surpassed them in the music awards decided to sue because they thought it so unfair. There was this tweet with a stack of “legal” documents stating they’re going to file a legal complaint 😂😂

You have to react to Daechwita - Agust D. This is a song by Suga, one of the rappers in BTS (the ratatouille part). I think you'll be amazed by his talent. As a metalhead myself, i didn't think i could like kpop... but man this is fire...! especially BTS, they always amaze me !

I know you like cinematic video and story, so i strongly recommend their "Blood, sweat and tears" and its explanation video. You will see bunch of symbolism. Also "Fake love" has great production value with dope beat drop(almost without CG). You will love it!!!!!!

I think the original version (the one that is more in korean) is extended and has a final drop where they do the dance break. The live performance is great, you can see their stage presence 🔥

Really enjoyed the reaction and this song and MV are so high energy. The live versions of this with the long dance break are a lot of fun. The comment about bag full of trophies and this song was made years ago. Just at one award show last week (MAMA - Mnet Asian Music Awards BTS couldnt attend and swept 9 awards, all 4 top awards for the 3rd or 4th. They took a lot of hate for years and still get it. Even BillBoard accused them of using bots and of army of just being fans for not understanding how popular they are. Nope. Bots didn’t sell out 200k seats in LA last month for 4 nights.

This is why you will not see them reacting to haters, not worth their time. Mic Drop!

I love your break downs, but was actually curious how you was going to break this one down.. and i thought it was great! The bit about the mics, I've not heard anyone make that analysis, but I bet you nailed it. I know you react to other things on your channel, but I wish you could do more BTS there is so much more stuff of their's that I can't wait for you to break down. One particular, becuz speaking of this track and a line you said, "be you" well BTS received a lot of hate in the beginning and still do. RM received a lot for leaving the underground rap scene and went into kpop. So to clap back at the haters he came out with a couple solo tracks titled "Do you" and "Joke". I believe you would like both of these, and would I like to hear your break down on these. I don't believe either has subtitles on them, so I recommend looking up a version that has some. "Joke" does have on purpose jibberish and Korean puns, but to me these 2 tracks are just outstanding. You can definitely tell he is tired of people hating on him, and he's using his music to let it out.. I really hope you get the chance to listen to them. I apologize for the long comment.

"That is so groovy," was a line I greatly enjoyed. It's so nice to see someone do such an in-depth analysis as you do, and it's always a joy to see someone find out about the diverse talents in BTS. I noticed you seem to really like the cinematography that goes into these songs (and of course the impactful lyrics), so I would love to recommend songs like Black Swan or Spring Day! Those are absolute classics and the cinematography and lyrical concepts are hard to match (in my opinion of course). Great video! :^)

Haha, there are too many comments they might have already told you but on the live performances of this song the beat at the end drops really hard.

First with "Dope" and now with "Mic Drop", you really seem to be picking all of my favorite BTS songs. I would like to point out that BTS were one of three Korean groups that made Rolling Stones's Top 50 songs of the year for 2021. Their song on the list was "Butter". The other two were Twice's English Single "The Feels" and Epik High's "Rosario".

I love your analysis and I think you are spot on with your interpretation. I will say though I think Suga’s line “You’re a tasteless ratatouille” is referencing the french vegetable dish not the cartoon. Suga is a real foodie and excellent cook. A ratatouille is supposed to be really flavourful and tasty. A ‘tasteless’ ratatouille would be pointless and a waste of time. It would be a disappointment. This is what Suga is saying about the haters and their music.

The deeper you go the more you love them. The group's leader, main rapper, songwriter and producer, Kim Namjoon (RM), has an IQ of 148. Min Yoongi (Suga) the group's lead rapper and also a songwriter and producer appears to be somewhat of a genius in his own right. BTS albums are concepts and each member also releases albums on their own, fully supported by each other and their label. There's a reason they're the biggest entertainment act the world has ever seen. BTS is their own genre. Believe me when I say if you go down the BTS rabbit hole prepare to be blown away.
