You should react to Eminem - mockingbird. According to Eminem himself, it's the most emotional song. He's ever written. He also nearly teared up on stage while singing it
12:27 "Just take another pill, yeah, I bet you you will You rap about it, yeah, word, k-keep it real." Both the lyrics and the change in the beat give me goosebumps.
Fun Fact: Em had missed so much time with his family during his career that a few years ago he turned down a 100 million tour contract to make up some of that time.
Guys don't waste your time explaining ya self to these RU-vidrs lol their gonna watch no matter what. Do the best you can lol thanks and keep reacting!
This is Marshall Mathers personality. This is early in his career. I believe he eventually got custody of his kids. He made a decision to stop doing long tours. He did a song with Akon and he said that Em treats music like a regular job. He comes in at 9 o’clock takes lunch at 1 and goes home at 5 to be home for his girls. He actually missed his chance to perform at the Oscars when he won for Lose Yourself because he said he had father duties. So I believe he got his priorities straight.
He did and I respect that he went home to take care of Hailey so he could take her to school the next day which proves of how much of a good farther he really is
Alpha Kenny Body true he was just on Lil Wayne’s radio show and he said that he didn’t think he was going to win plus he had daddy duty. Hailey had to get up early for school. He said he spent the night watching cartoons with her.
Of course there will be lots of requests for you to do Headlights. I ask only that please do other songs involving his mother first, so your dad can really grasp just how much Em has hated her. I know you already did Cleaning Out My Closet, but there's still songs like Marshall Mathers, My Mom, and Kill You. Do Headlights last among those. Those I'm forgetting, hopefully others can comment them
He's right, you definitely need to listen in order about his mom to fully get how his feelings towards her have evolved into forgiveness over the years..
Sorry for the late upload y'all. Btw i hope y'all can understand what happened with the music video. That got blocked so this is the reupload with just the image displayed on screen. Hope y'all are cool wit it. Stay safe y'all
Hey you guys, try to keep the intros more concise and maybe a little higher energy, like RU-vid is actually recommending your videos to people watching reaction videos. Go watch some videos by layedbakedfr or something, you want to get their attention, set the vibe, then show them the content and react after. Preamble should be a minute and or a minute and a half tops 👍🏻 in any case, just keep it up. If you keep doing this then a year from now y’all’s channel will totally look and feel different. So proud of you guys. More specifically, try to appeal to your target audience not your current audience. That way your videos won’t feel dated but rather, feel closer to timeless, for example only one person knew what you were talking about on the immortal technique video so you probably shouldn’t spend any time talking about that, go leave a comment for that person, 😄 you can’t please everyone, somebody will ashtrays want you to do something differently. Whatever you guys do, I just want you to succeed
Great reaction as always! Do a reaction on "Conway the Machine - The Cow" sometime. I honestly think deeply emotional rap songs dont get enough credit.
Eminem deserves reaction vids. I love Eminem alot of songs that stand out to me . Ya I could just imagine how many request you got!! Insane!!!! And hey you guys are replying love it you just rock !!!. Whatever video you guys choose to do I’m going to watch and support. Like to see your reactions and thoughts of you and your dad it’s awesome ...keep the vids coming much love from Canada Ontario 🇨🇦 makes me want to go have a drink!!! Lmao!! Haha your dads wicked !! Sorry Immortal I had to request it a while back and when you did it I jumped up and got excited lmfao 🤙🏼😝😁👏!! Loved coming across you guys !!!! Amazing keep up the channel !!! 👍❤️🇨🇦✊ I like how you guys switch it up. Keeps it interesting 😊🙂👍 love the channel
One of the things I love about em is he always wears his heart of his sleeve. So open and honest with fans his. Another one ill think you'll like is "not afraid"
I wonder how hard Imma have to keep trying for Kim and '97 Bonnie & Clyde to move them up your list. :D Just kidding, great reaction guys. Keep it up. Always looking forward to more Em. And maybe some NF, Joyner Lucas, Lil Dicky. :D
Random factoid: He actually missed his show in Sweden because the plane he was supposed to be on he missed... and it crashed. It actually happened. Most of his songs are about real things that happen in his life.
Can you imagine hearing this particular song when your father actually isn't there with you anymore? Hearing "and when I'm gone, don't mourn, rejoice when you hear the sound of my voice"? Because damn, I wouldn't be able to rejoice. Then again, if the opposite would be to never hear his voice again? I think I have to go make a video of my parents now. Just in case.
Great video! YOU HAVE TO MAKE 3 A.M. NEXT, the wordplay in that song its probably the best than in any other eminem song. It also follows that story telling format like Stan and its freaky af. I think you'd get a good reation out of it...
The story goes, em wrote this song when his drug problem got real bad. He felt he was gonna die from his addiction. That's why he keeps talking to hailey in the past tense. As if he is speaking to his child down from heaven. I dont think he planned on still being alive when this came out.
The setting of the video is an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting. As of April Eminem celebrated 12 years of sobriety. Curtain Call was supposed to be his last album, one of many described that way.
Gotta respect your amazing father! You should listen to "Infinite", a lot of people have never heard it. It was released in '96 and he sold it from the trunk of his car. It didnt get him famous, but it got the attention of people like Dre. He uses an intricate rhyme scheme and brilliant word-play throughout the song! Sending you love from Sweden, take care lads.
React to Rhyme or reason, it used a famous sample a song from the 60s DONT wanna spoil it, but yea, It’s from the Marshall Mathers LP 2. Great song and Em sings too.
@@wesley0000 not at all. Mgk had maybe 2 good lines, other than that, it was all over the place and made no sense. If you actually think it was bar heavy or a career-ender, you know nothing about lyricism
@@zx6144 Not a career-ender but def a good diss. Usually, in the case of Benzino for example, beef with Eminem results in no career at all, ever. But MGK is still relevant bruh
Sup bros keep up the eminem reaction I love them I know it's hard to keep up with all the requests but do no regrets by eminem love y'all keep up the good work
Regarding the name of the album Curtain Call I believe Em was thinking about retiring at this time but it also fits the theme from his last 2 albums The Eminem Show and Encore. Curtain Call is also a greatest hits album.
So far you're the only ones who brought up that the song could also be interpreted as a suicide note. I agree. "Gone" can have the meaning of being away, yes, but "I'm looking down on you smiling, and I didn't feel a thing" - that part of the chorus, to me, is obviously about dying from overdose. That's the first place my mind went to, and I'm always surprised that reactors don't mention it. He was on sleeping and anti-anxiety meds, all downers, all numbing him - dying like that, you would not feel a thing. When this came out, he had already been to rehab once (in 2005) and then relapsed. He knew he was in big, big trouble, he knew that chances were, it was going to kill him eventually. Thankfully, it didn't, and he's been clean since 2008.
Yo... You just said "we'll get to it eventually, i promise". I bet no one has ever requested this song - but listen to Jorja Smith Blue Lights. It's very niche for American's, but it's a very big song in England. And it's a really good song too! Honestly, it's an amazing song. At least listen to it. If you don't like it, fine. But at least listen to it.
This was a song where he killed off the Slim Shady persona, you guys should listen to My Darling that is where he revived Shady. Also love your reactions, as a Eminem fan from Ireland that has listen to him from the day he dropped Hi, my name is.
Great reaction!!! I've been here since the first reaction. Enjoy watching the journey wish I would've commented more seem like you guys really pay attention to everyone as much as you can and really connect to your fans
People should just calm their tits instead of getting offended you didn't get to their request yet. It'll save you guys about 5 minutes of disclaimers each video, which will lead to more time to film reactions!
Lol y'all would trip over if y'all keep taking comments section too seriously. Just look out for the good ones and ignore the negativity cause that's obviously what they want, attention.
Don't worry too much about people. The internet is a really odd place. If you want more elaborate eminem pieces on fame, listen to fine line and/or stepping stone.
For time context this was less than 2 years b4 he nearly died, around this time he had already made 3 classic albums but his music overall was starting to decline thats why u got a few albums where its like wtf is he making, the drugs were heavy in his life and overall just wasnt well, encore and relapse were the albums but even those have some classics sprinkled in there
plz my favorite songs are role model , and rock bottom plz do some real old school eminem underated songs, plz trust me i know almost all eminem songs b heart trust me this is the real shit
also i recommend mathematics by mos def . it’s a really deep song that addresses issues that are as relevant now as they were in the 90’s when it was written .
2 suggestions : 1. Try to always watch the lyrics cause there's always something you can miss in his magical lyrics and even if you are watching the Music Video, turn on captions if it has one. 2. If the music video cannot be shown atleast put a picture of the album or song not eminem's face looking like he's about to fart lol
hi guy love your channel i"m form the UK iv got a few suggestions. Number 1 aitch - straight rhymes, 2 Fire in the Booth - Akala Part 4 , 3 dave - question time. Rap in Britain is called grime or drill thought i would send you these because its a different genres of rap
