Metallic Pelagics: Fishing the Gamtoos surf, settling the score. 

This is the third video for out-fish-her and it features our first real summer mission.
It's safe to say that summer is here. How better to celebrate it than with a surf mission. Wolfie, Franna and I head out to target whatever was biting, which luckily for me was only apex predators. Having only started fishing for ineds last summer, I could use the practice. I hope you enjoy watching me go into a Bronzie fight a little undergunned but it was all incredibly worth it. This episode features some cool insights into the lives of these copper sharks, and what we can do to minimise our impact when shark fishing - because ultimately we want to keep the fishery sustainable.
