Our new silver Electro-Acoustic Pedal Harps make their RU-vid debut! “Fade to Black" is our most requested song of all time, our 5th Metallica cover, and our longest Metallica cover to date! We wanted to do justice to this amazing song - and not just the most well-known portions. So, we arranged the whole song - some parts were definitely more harp-friendly to arrange than others, but we love how it turned out! We think the harps give the song a beautiful, ethereal and haunting quality. We also included some distortion since these harps can be electrified! Our video camera broke while we were filing our last music video, so this video was filmed by our mom entirely on our iPhone and edited by us. A huge THANK YOU to all of the amazing fans who contributed to our campaign for these amazing chrome electro-acoustic harps!

Thank you! 💙💜We have done a lot of experimenting with distortion. Most of the time it sounds "muddy" and takes away the distinctive sound of the harp - especially on RU-vid. Seeing this song live last night was amazing! Seeing them live puts a whole new context to their amazing ability to arrange and play together: 4 hands makes for a whole other level of physically-impossible-to-match-live-by-2-hands kind of wow. So talented in their musical mastery! Great stage entertainers communicating between each song making for a fun show, keeping every different person smiling, laughing, and happy the whole time. I've been a Metallica fan for over 30 years.. and this is one of the songs that elevated my love for them. When I saw the title I was extremely skeptical. I am happy to be disappointed in my skepticism. Well done. I would love to see you both play live with Metallica!

I've always wondered what the difference was between good musicians, and great musicians. I think you two gave me an answer. Good musicians can play a song and sound great, and great musicians can make each note say things lyrics never could. The overdrive was a nice touch. A little chaos to bring your listener out of quiet reflection. You two are very skilled. I said talented on an earlier video, but talented doesn't equate to the amount of work you've put into your craft. Edit: you captured a lot of what depression/suicidal feels like. A lot of quiet reflection, with a bit of chaos thrown in every now and again.

Wow. I am a scholar but always a student. I do not know why it never occurred to me that harps could sound like that. Well done. Thanks for expanding my knowledge. Plus, again, your use of color, motion, and the harps, is inspired. Honestly. You ladies should be playing on a bigger stage. Namaste Danny

Although classically trained with degrees in harp performance from a conservatory of music, we now enjoy having the freedom to chart our own course, push limits and go where no harps have gone before... literally and musically. We call it our radical duet harp revolution. We also enjoy arranging and playing music we love and not limiting ourselves to music that harpists have played for centuries.
