Indeed do what you like to do not what others want you to do.. Wise message, and that is the reason Metallica suceed and other bands didnt; is because they created and wrote what was natural to them and what they wanted to do, so nothing was forced
I was about 10 in 1996 and reload was when i first discovered metallica...then bought load and the black album. But i thought 90s metallica was amazing and it's super nostalgic for me.
4:30 If we were to stay in this box. Everything since the dire St Anger has been an attempt to recapture relevance by repeating the past. Their setlists are 95% the first 5 albums.
@@xXAscendingPhoenixXx I would say it's when their cocaine use was at it's highest, they cut their hair, and also put on mascara. Definitely trying to stay current with the 90s view of a rockstar. I pretty much passed on them after Justice came out. The Black album was okay in my opinion but the young, drunk, t-shirt and jeans version was my favorite.
LOL 90s Metallica and their "cool" image. Don't get me wrong I'm a HUGE Metallica fan but looking back on this era it's freaking hilarious. Metallica, you guys are fucking metal band! Haha, you're not the fucking Beatles! Good to have Metallica playing metal again. When Death Magnetic came out it felt like Metallica had come out of like cryo-freezing or something. "Oh hey you're back!" was my reaction to it.
Charles Leon Devils Dance, 2x4, The Memory Remains, Fuel, Wasting My Hate, Attitude, The Prince Charming, Bad Seed, King Nothing, The house that Jack Built, Aint my bitch.. if those are not metal songs what are they? Even though is not "trash metal" still Hard Rock music
