Absolutely love your energy and gratefulness even after 81 Metallica concerts. I was also at that show on the ground floor and it was the first time I watched them live. I aspire to be this passionate decades from now even when they will no longer play live so we can carry their legacy to future generations. That weekend still felt surreal. Hope you enjoy the other shows!

Thank you very much for the kind words. I really appreciate that and it means a lot to me. I could do it again. I still feel the same passion and I did after the very first show that I saw them. I feel lucky feeling of being passionate about the band is never going to change no matter how many shows I see

Amazing dude! Your gratitude and love for the experience is obvious. Would've been cool to be there bud, but like I said, I'm just barely getting settled in the city myself, so just couldn't do it. I have heard many stories about the sound in the stadium (1976 by the way) but everyone says this show was amazing. I don't much care for any of the other acts aside from Pantera, but great to see back to back with entirely different set list. Incredible merch too man! Wow! Glad you enjoyed bro. Cheers my friend! 🍻✌️🤘🎶🤘

Sounds like a killer trip. I actually like the posters, I guess the colors are to match the vinyl. Insane that they are pressing different colors for each spot...a great idea from a business standpoint though. I've heard nothing but good things about Pantera...really looking forward to seeing them in a few weeks!

All of the colors of the posters and vinyl were really cool. And yeah, they basically did them all to match the sports teams in each city. But the only downside is there's a couple of stops where they look very similar because the colors of those sports teams and cities are pretty much the same. But I definitely had a great time and I'm really trying to get to Pantera in Alpharetta

Thanks for the review. I enjoyed Donnington. I was pretty much at the left hand front of the stage. On the stage i thought it was the worst stage i have ever seen them on. For design it was terrible. Not really a fan of this modern sounding technology for the speaker sound either. Metallica's new sound mix,now that i found out Big Mick has retired is a lot different. I couldnt put my hand on it what it was at hellfest last year, now i know. They were good. I got confussed on what i thought no repeat weekend would be i thought it would be one set the normal set then the second set goes crazy. But yes they played well. Was good to hear Until it Sleeps again for the first time since the 02 arena 2008. First time i have seen King Nothing, The Call of Ktulu is always epic! And orion,Whiplash, for whom the bells toll,Ride the lightning,Leaper Messiah,Blackened,Battery and the day that never comes. New stuff great. Dispite half the sound cutting of for Lux Aterna amd Screaming Suicide but its a festival. People were walking out saying it was the worst time they have ever seen them,& they sounded like a bad garage band. (They clearly didnt know Leaper Messiah) but knew Whiskey in the jar! And they wouldnt be seeing them again anytime soon. I disagreed i thought they were great as ever. Hitting on my 20th show,& thinking about munich next may.

You know something? That's funny. I thought the same thing as you with the sound because up until those festivals in 20 20 one I had seen Metallica and it always big. Mick was the sound guy. Well then covid should everything down and they finally come back in 2021 at those big festivals and that's the first time they were doing the no repeat weekend in the United States. So I'm at the first of those three festivals I went to and I'm thinking of myself man. The sound just isn't right. The guitars are as loud. Something's just a little bit off and then I found out as well that big Mick was not doing the sound anymore. It was almost like halfway through the set of that first night. A switch was flicked in the sound changed and got better. The band I still think they sound amazing. They seem to enjoying it a lot more. The shows are amazing. I hope you make it to Munich in my might actually see you there

@@headbangerscloset8552 yes,i think the sound was always going to change at Metallica shows. With technology moving forward the way it does,& Metallica careing about their fans. I read each tower cost over a million dollars. Thats 8 million dollars on sound. Funny thing was at Donnington they were getting complaints from 20 miles away in Derby people were having BBQs in their garden and they could hear Metallica like they were in their garden so the police got nothing but complaints by angry residents asking metallica to turn it down. I only assume mick retited because of covid and his health.
