This song is actually about drug addiction... Pay close attention to the lyrics The drug is the master and the addict is the puppet. It is sung from the drugs perspective. The first part represents an angry junkie looking for a fix. The interlude is the small kick of uphoria the addict gets after consuming the drug before absolute carnage. I mean "Chop your breakfast on a mirror" probably describes it all.

Yep, ST fans associate it more to how it fits Vecna as Puppet Master but it really fits Eddie and his drug addiction and "this is for you Chrissy" might also not only mean he dedicate this performance as revenge to Vecna but as also a message to Chrissy that drugs is not the answer just like how she came to him to help her solve her problems. I find it funny how whenever a good song that no one has heard of nor would’ve listened end up liking these songs then getting into the band/genera of music, then people that were fans of the song/genera/band immediately gatekeep and say “you only like it because of -blank-“ well yes, are you not happy that a good song that you like that’s u recognised is now getting more recognition and more people actually like it? I’m glad TikTok and shows as well as movies make songs recognised because I of a scene or an edit, would just be happy enough that someone knows and grew to like it.
