ya it was///I saw metallica on June 6th 1994 at allentown fairgrounds in Pennsylvania///the black album tour was almost finally over then///suicidal tendencies and danzig opened
I was going to college at Marquette University in Milwaukee at the time, and I caught this show. While not quite as good as some of the other shows I had seen before or after, it was still a fun time, as Metallica does not know how to give a bad performance. James was (and is) one of the best metal frontmen out there, and had the audience in the palm of his hand. If the show had any issues it would be the extended solos, or the call & response bit on Seek and Destroy. If they had eliminated those bits, they could easily have included one or two more songs. Other than that, it was the usual solid performance from Metallica.
Milwaukee is my home town! I was 9 years old at the time and hadn’t discovered Metallica yet. What a time for the band!! I wish I was old enough to see the band live during this time. My first Metallica concert was in this same building but in 1997 during the poor touring me, load and reload tour!
I was born and raised in the Mil and reside in the burbs now. Too bad I was only 9 years old in 91 and there was zero chance my mom would let me go to the old Bradley center for this show. But I did see Mets last show at the Bradley in 09 before they built the Fiserv Forum and Met was the first show I seen there in 18. LONG LIVE THE MIGHTY METALLICA
Mil is my hometown too. I was also 9 years old at the time and hadn’t even discovered Metallica yet. My first Metallica concert was in this very same building, the Bradley center, but six years later in 1997 for the poor touring me/ load reload tour!! Cool to see another Metallica fan from my hometown!!
@@invisiblekid7374 I almost went to that poor touring me show in 97 I can't remember why I didnt probably the cost but i did see pantera in 98 and that was a good show
@@SuperDuffy112 Was a great first Metallica show. They opened with so what!! Unfortunately, because whatever reasons I never got the chance to see Pantera, Dimebag, Vinny, Phil, or Rex, live in any form. Such a shame!!
