Metallica, from a production perspective, has to be one of the most interesting bands to discuss. They have career longevity, and say what you will about the results, they have taken a lot of chances that other bands just wouldn't do. This song is a perfect example! A left over from the Load era, it was perfect for the orchestral backing and it comes off like some kind of monster (see what I did there?)!!! Seriously, they are a band that has worked with a number of producers, who have had lots of different tones on each album, have tried different concepts, and whose song structure covers the entire spectrum of dead simple to wickedly complex.
This is their symphony concert with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra called S&M. This whole album is amazing! React to Call Of The Ktulu and The Outlaw Torn from this. Your face is going to melt.
This concert from 1999 was amazing I was teenager when it came out and when they just did another symphony concert recently it was wonderful to hear them evolve and sound just as great but with a matured older voice. I teared up hearing them do it again:)
Definitely definitely need to check out "The Outlaw Torn", "Call of Ktulu," "Hero of the Day," and "Bleeding Me" off this concert. Oh. And "Of Wolf and Man." You will regret NOTHING.
@@ryanagee5540 I've ALWAYS loved Load and Reload. And Bleeding Me is just....amazing. Raw, powerful, and with Outlaw Torn and Fixxxer, it makes those albums some of their heaviest yet, so to speak.
Clint Logan I am a Little bit jealous that you saw it live. 🙈 I only saw it 3 times in cinema. But I could see them live last year 2 times. Mindblowing 🤘🏼
Thank you for this one Mike! and Ryan who requested this - thank you! Mike, Metallica did a whole show like this with San Francisco Symphony in 1999 called S&M, and 20 years later, last year they did it again! S&M2 dvd will be out in august. All the best from Serbia.
Michael Kamen said "the orchestra is used to applause and quiet concerts. With Metallica they were surprised and enthralled with the energy" or something like that lol
hi buddy, i suggest try to see all that concert. Year 1999's S&M Metallica with S. Francisco Symphony orchestra. For me another of their best concerts. There is some songs arangments give high goose bumps. The great orchestra director was Micheal Kamen (R.I.P.) the same director of the THE WALL LIVE IN BERLIN (07/21/1990) event. Enjoy watching its.
Soooooo mad with what happened with the 20th anniversary of S&M. Bots bought up all the fucking tickets and jacked up the price to an arm, a leg and a first born.
Ok. First video I watched from this channel. I’m like 2 mins in. 4 leaf clover. Lol. Question though. Maybe we can get a rock song review with wireless headphones. I’m more curious to watch you rock it out without the restrictions from wires. Lol.
Please react to Trenches by Pop Evil. I think you will appreciate the guitar rifts in the song. They also did a version of it with DMC which is also very good. Thanks 😊
My dad showed me this song when I was kid I would watch him busting out prison style burpee pull-ups , now I can’t workout with Metallica ! I am now 16 I was 4 then
More Metallica S&M react to the Full álbum I think you go to the hospital if you do It prepare your heart. Please Trivium the revanchist Anthrax indians Sepultura dead embrionic cells Twelve foot ninja im coming for you Mastodon the Motherlord Hugs from Brasil.
Really weird watching this guy goofing around dancing to this classic rather than paying attention to the music, lyrics n all the subtleties to this song. But I guess this is a reaction from a video producer, technically not a song reaction?
What you're suggesting would technically be a song review. Wanting him to sit and listen to the music, lyrics etc. The fact that he got up and starting dancing because he was enjoying what he was watching and listening to was his reaction.
