Machinima can serve as a powerful pedagogical tool that fosters active learning, critical thinking, and meaningful participation across diverse disciplines. When used as part of a multimodal learning approach, this technique nurtures an inclusive and student-centered educational experience.
Through real-world examples and practical tips, you'll learn how to create stories, design effective virtual environments, animate characters, film sequences, and edit impactful machinima projects.
Janet (aka Madeline McMinnar) is an Instructional Technologist, who brings nearly 15 years of expertise in immersive education, with a background rooted in instructional technology and multimedia production. Her passion lies in sculpting virtual worlds and partnering with faculty to create interactive experiences that engage and excite students.
