Real Rapp kids today don't understand the difference between today's and this beautiful art depicted by words and beats that were designed from real instruments what a Era I wish I was in
I’m a 54 year year-young, professional woman com always gonna be a old-school hip-hop fan for life! Grew up in the 80s 90s and early 2000s as a teenager and young adult, and into this day I don’t listen to the radio, but have this on my playlist, and a whole bunch of old school having grown up in the Bronx, born and raised, but living in Maryland for the last 20 years no shame to my game love old school. Our parties were all about fun and the tracks were crazy.
Red and Meth came to Perth, Australia back in 2011 at a NYE event. They absolutely tore the place down. Watching about 10,000 people jumping around and breaking their necks to the performance was something to behold. Then Meth jumped off one of the tall speakers onto the crowd and started surfing the people like he was in the Ocean! It was an absolutely mind-blowing performance! Never seen anything like it since. Two of the best live rap performers on earth!
Man everybody performed at the Apollo.. thus back in the day when hip hop was fire and could actually move crowds with lyricism along with a good beat…
It’s still crazy to think Redman didn’t like the beat, and that’s why we never got a long length version. But….. you can’t say the song still didn’t turn out an iconic classic regardless
If I had a time machine and one wish, I would wish to be a Redman and Method Man groupie backstage after watching this show. I'd let Method Man knock the stuffing off my English muffin any day.
