If you make more than one ending, than at least have the real ending be the easiest to get. Same problem with S.T.A.l.K.E.R., but Metro is way worse. Still a good game though.
For the others who still dont get the good ending, you might want to avoid two places One where the little dark one saw the rocket And that one which a small girl (ghost) is crying Avoid those and get as much as moral point
You don't know what are you talking about , just don't kill lesnisky , save Pavel , save the bear and get as many moral points as possible and you'll get the good ending
@@drakejensen9062 I did all of that on my 3rd playthrough. Got the bad ending. I really dont know what it takes to get the good ending?? Its funny cause my first ever playthrough when the game first came out i got the good ending and i remember killing Lesnisky. Maybe that's it?
@@jakemills7612 watch a guide and get all moral points (if you miss some I'm sure it's fine, but try and get all this time) and make sure you save pavel, the bear and DON'T kill Lesnitsky . Also try to not kill any soldiers if you don't have to, but tbh it's been some time since i platinumed this game I'm not sure if killing soldiers affect the ending or not
I suck at stealth, so I killed almost every human enemy in the game (except those that were surrendering), spared Lesnitsky and Pavel, spared all the mutants I could, didn't save the bear thing, and got the bad ending. Came here after finding out there were multiple endings, and was happy to find I wasn't alone in being frustrated with the ending I got. Not like i would've gotten this ending anyway.
Just finished this game on Xbox One. I did everything good and moral as much as possible in the game, but I still got the other ending. Was hoping for this one. I wonder what I missed.
+BaldPipeSmoker yeah it realy suks I wanted this ending to. the only reason I don't like these games are the fact that you have almost no control over the endings unlike cod.
It all depends on how well the game sells. But I don't think Deep Silver would buy 4A Games and the Metro franchise for 5.8 million dollars and just to end it after one game.
No that's dumb I I didn't think there were 2 endings so I thought when u get the bad ending its the actual one but now I found out there was a better one!!?? I cry now. Metro is my favorite game and I cherish it lol
i think in metro 3 or 2036 youre arythom and he meets the dark ones again with some other enemy. maybe there coming more devil mutants who are destroying the metro
Isaiah Gonzales I didn't know that u could run away from the demon mom and I killed her. When I saw her baby I shot it in the face, like what is he supposed to do now? he'll starve to death or will be devoured by other monster
I hear every conversation i found I do my best to explore every place Avoid kill i Just knock out I give the Bear for the kid Save mother Bear Spare The villains And yet i get bad end this system is so unfair I going tô play Exodus now and Will kill everyone i found in my way beacuse in The end doesnt make diference anyway
The "Bad" Ending isn't necessarily bad, it's just the Easier-to-Achieve ending. Harder to achieve like not killing anymore than 50 or so people throughout the entire game unless they had to be killed to move on.
When you and the dark one have entered his mind and learned his secrets about the plan he will be up on the wall of arms. If you just stand there and wait he will die but if you walk towards him you will spare his life.
I killed about 50% of the enemies in the game.. Did everything else completely perfect.. and I still got the "the bad ending". So the good ending is basically all about being stealthy the entire game or as much as possible.. I got the good ending first play through in Metro 2033, So I know how the game is played.. I enjoy stealth and I enjoy killing.. Thank god for RU-vid.. I don't feel like I should replay this anytime soon and kill less enemies to get this ending..
Both endings are sad yet happy at the same time, but the good ending is the saddest one while the bad ending is the happiest one. I'd say that Metro Last Light is by far the greatest game ever invented.
I heard it was hard to get the good ending. But yesterday i beat this on Hardcore and man it was a great feeling to see that Dark One stop me from blowing up D6. I think i only killed 6-10 humans. (not including the ones you HAVE to kill obviously. Train level, Pavel's group, etc.)
Seeing all these comments, it's weird that I didn't do every single good thing here (killed all the enemies). Only the major ones like saving Pavel, the Mama Bear, and Lesnitsky, and I managed to get this ending.
Then I don't know, in my playthrough I didn't remove my gas mask I just tried to get a headshot to kill him and I certainly missed some hidden locations. My tip now since replaying from The Crossing did not work is to check the metro wikia on moral points locations and replay from an earlier point. I maybe got 75% of those so try to get as many as possible.
You have to get morality points all throughout the game for doing certain things like avoiding kills in certain parts, sparing Pavel and Letsnitsky, also paying coin to the poor and listening to conversations. Just like Metro 2033
Yes I did and I think it's a good idea to do that even on a evil playthrough just for the extra military bullets you get. Besides you can just keep the teddy bear to make sure the kid never finds it.
so i did every moral boost possible, Knocking out both the main villains instead of killing them, listening to all conversations, helping the poor, both the kids and a woman, saving the bear, etc etc. Yet still got the bad ending, im guessing because i've killed %94 of the humans? Is that so? XD
Stupid humans! Always shoot first and ask questions never. Every bad ending in these games or in every game/movie with human alien contact is the closest to reality as it'll ever be. We're just trash and we need to make peace with that fact.
smukase Yeah, but the bad ending is he doesn’t come for you, and Atryom dies like a fucking hero, but it makes no sense because I killed the traitor but let Pavel (a commie who betrays you but was a great friend at first) live (mostly because I couldn’t bear to allow him to stay in the hands for eternity). So the Dark One should’ve killed the Nazis or only saved me, instead he blows me off and yeets out with his kin.
I got it on my first try...just follow this guys guide...and maybe some other on bing or google...its better if you type metro last light good ending walkthrough..just listen to every conversation you can find...look on as many parts of the map as possible for stuff and NEVER kill anyone...you can destroy the tank at the end but don't shoot and soldier on it....you can only kill the flamer at the end...don't shoot the shield though..aim for his head
You need to do good actions like minimizing the killing of humans and mutants, listen to NPC's conversations, giveing bullets to the poor and sparing the life of Pavel and Lesnitsky. When you do this you will get moral points and if you get enough you will unlock this ending. if you want to know were all the moral points locations are check the link in the description.
Bro what the fuck I got the bad ending although I spared the main villains and freed the prisoners. Maybe it’s because I killed every bad guy instead of actually using stealth. I heard that could give bad morale points.
Its so stupid that the bad ending is most what player got while the good ending is like finding diamonds. Like put a damn merit point bar so we can track bullshit from good stuff
During the game you need to do good actions like minimizing you killing of humans, spare the life of Pavel and Lensnitsky, listen to conversations between NPCs and explore hidden places. When you do that you will get a white flash and a sound effect confirming you did something good. Only when you have done enough good actions you will be able to get this ending.
What was your total playtime on and did you do good actions towards the mutant animals during the later part of the game, if not try to replay from "The Crossing" level and do everything the dark one say to do or not to do. I experienced that this is the part where the game have the most trigger points to determine if you can change the ending you will get.
i really wish i got this ending, i thought i did everything thing good even the little dark one said so. i got the teddy bear for that kid in venice, saved the lady from getting raped from bandits, saved the bear from the watchmen at the end, i stealthed most of the game but i did jell people when i had to. only thing i can think of is letting pável to die but i honestly didn’t think that decision would’ve held so much weight for the ending
after thinking about it, saving or killing pável has the biggest affect in the ending cause of you kill pável, the baby dark one says he’ll remember this and will be the ultimate decision why the dark ones won’t save you in the ending. Pável and Artyom mirror each other in a way, Pável was contributed to genocide and artyom bombed the dark ones to near extinction so the game sees them as equals no matter who you think is good or bad. so i killed pável and the baby dark one that’s still learning about humans and their emotions decided that artyom was not worthy of forgiveness as artyom couldn’t forgive pável
I played through Metro: Last Light as the embodiment of Redemption. With a heart filled with honest grief and guilt because of my actions in Metro: 2033. I was new to the outside world, naive and sometimes cruel even. Never helping a beggar, killing everyone and everything in my way. So I listened to Khan's wisdom, became the better person. I saved the little one, and he saved his people. I made sure the weapons & viruses of D6 would never kill again. That is my Legacy That is my Redemption
u are right i agree on that plus u should verse mutants and end the neos from taking over the metro and again u are arytom and u marry anna and get promoted which should add arytom son or daughter miller khan andrey the black smith little dark one hunter plus they should add two partner story mode when u can be arytom or a character u created and finaly the story u said is a good story idea
Am I the only one that thought the "bad" ending was a better ending? I mean the only real difference between the two is D6 is either lost or saved which gets rid of main characters near the bomb. That being said, metro life still seems to go on after the bomb detonates and the dark ones are still alive. But it felt good having that idealistic ending of finally beating the Communists.
the story should continue with arytom alive why does everybody want arytom dead and the rangers dead the story should have four games with arytom and anna plus their son but I noticed that when i said they should have four games they should have four games on the season think about it metro 2033 winter metro last light spring metro 3 summer and metro 4 fall
This is bullshit I did everything good diddent kill any humans diddent get revenge gave money to poor save the kids bear listen to all npc convos all hidden locations everything and still got the bad ending what did I do wrong?
But you don't. You just stop the invading army. There are still Reds, and there are still Nazis. Only difference is in the bad ending, there are no Rangers left alive to keep them in line anymore...
Actually I didnt kill Pavel and I got the bad ending, not killing Pavel isnt enough Morality points to get this ending you also have to not kill so many mutants and humans
Are you playing on the PC or on the console? If you are playing on the PC the video files that the ending cutscene are saved as may be corrupted. Try to verify the files on Steam or reinstall the game and replay the last chapter.
Since I don't know how many morality points you have I would keep the mutants and humans killing to a minimal, sneak as much as you can or run past them as a priority. Just kill if you enter a scripted battle like the one before you decide Pavels fate. Don't focus on hidden locations until The Dead City level. And remember not to kill the "Demon" on the roof and save the mutant bear. This should give you the good ending. If not you may have to replay from an earlier point.
If you sneak up behind an enemy and knock them out to my knowledge that doesn't count as a kill. I did that alot during this playthrough and it did not effect the ending.
I did not have the optimized beta drivers from Nvidia when i recorded this so I think I had SSAA at 0.5x or 2x, I know I could not go up to 3 or 4x during normal play because the framerate would tank or cut in half.
its not just doing good things you can still get this ending by sparing pavel but killing lenitski and thats still works and doing good deeds is something you must do to get this
Do you get a Good or Bad ending no matter what or can you end the game without either one, I'm going for the shadow ranger right now so I'm going for the good but didn't know if it was posiable to not get either, also can you let Pavel die then re-load the chapter and save him?
