Metroid - 1950's Super Panavision 70 Made with #midjourney #elevenlabs, #runwayai and edited in Premiere. Script by Chat GPT. #superpanavision #sora #metroid #supermetroid
If you ever beat original Metroid, depending on the ending, her suit would somehow flash off and she'd have on like just a bikini. In fact, if you inputted the password (you picked up your last save point with passwords on NES games unless the cartridge had save hardware built in) JUSTIN BAILEY and bottom line all hyphens, she'd be just in like a one piece with her firing gun. It was spectacular to see especially with her signature move (specially acquired power), the Screw Attack. That game was truly godly in its time!
No no. It looks good in the AI way but the 50s atom punk aesthetic didn’t look good back then it doesn’t look good now. But in that case the only type of atom punk like aesthetic that resembles the 50/60s ones is Star Trek Strange New Worlds.
It's no secret that CGI often lacks details. But CGI can do things that would either be too expensive or downward impossible to do otherwise. AI doesn't have any of these limitations.
@@jmckendry84 AI also has a problem with consistency longer than a few seconds. It's also interesting that AIs seem to have a preferred style, this is why this channel settled on 1950s. Nonetheless: generating THIS from just a prompt is as close as we ever got to magic spells.
@@mariusg8824yes, it is still cool and impressive, I don't want to give the wrong impression. I'm not sure if this is what you meant by inconsistency, but I think reproducibility is another AI weakness. Every time we see Samus here she looks like she's played by a totally different "actress", probably because every time you prompt the AI to generate a new Samus it starts again from scratch and forgets what it created previously.
Ever beat the original? I'm sure you can get it on emulator somewhere if you haven't. I'm tripping out on how great they made this and on how well it relates to the original. Truly magnificent!
Check out Starship Troopers. Also, well, Star Wars (produced outside the Hollywood system but with Hollywood money). And Forbidden Planet. Also, keep in mind that these AI-generated videos are composed out of pieces of old Hollywood movies. I agree that today's Hollywood is too bland and boring to come up with something this visually interesting though.
I've just found your channel, and this one especially is gorgeous. The 50s pulp-but-also-naturalistic aesthetic has a charm and dignity that's so strong, and when you add the affectionate reinterpretation of the world and particularly the alternative "casting" (which is even more interesting for this one as I don't know Metroid too well so just picture Samus's helmet) it feels like a really distinct creation and not just a fun rendering in a different style. I'd love to see this movie. Poster at end is lovely too ❤👏
The person didn’t make any of this. This was made by AI. This entire video is built off stolen artwork from others and put through a filter. They did not put a single ounce of work into this themselves.
One night in the 80's, my Dad came home from work and said, "heya son, a guy at work said to type Simon Bailey into the name when you start Metroid." Love this piece well done! I can't wait for Sora!
That was seriously fantastic. Coming from someone familiar with the original Metroid. She always had to fight giant bug-like creatures so that was spot on. And the different suits were so freaking amazing!
@Bluedudes-bl9yi Agh, I get what you mean. Still a great job, all things considered. Imagine the ruins on such a planet and the shit you'd encounter. I really liked that visual. The "creativity" of the suits was great too
I've watched dozens of these now and i don't really click with it but this one dropped my jaw. I want this Metroid movie or show this looks amazing. You got more out of a blank slate ai than Nintendo has gotten in 35 years of Metroid games somehow. Madly impressive.
Prime 4 they are promising alot and considering the turn breath of the wild and tears of the kingdom ....we shall wait to see ......a more open world metroid prime game would be lit❤❤
@@alm2187 that's how A.I works, it's a machine that is meant to generate sound waves in a predictive way, from a database and some algorithms. It's only predictive, it doesn't really learn something. It's like chaos that is rearranged in a way that you're tricked into thinking that could be man made.
Say I want it to draw the same character in two different poses,s@@Par-Crom Is there a way to get it to make the appearance of the character consistent in both? Or am I better off learning how to use Poser? 🤗
There is no “work” involved in this. An ai was used for this. I’m commenting on everything just to let some of the people who haven’t seen it know that this channel doesn’t deserve fame.
In Japan, There is a proverb that says that "Good things will be loved no matter how much time passes by", but truly good things will be loved even if you go back in time.
"Samus is a woman!" is the "Rosebud!" of video games! 😎 Nonetheless, ever since it came out that she's not the man she was once presumed to be, she prefers "heroine." 😉
Fantastic. I rarely watch movies, never go to cinema, never watch modern sci-fi, but I would even prebook for this one. Fanatstic image characteriatics that the sterility of modern film technology cannot beat.
Well done! This looks really 50’s authentic. Often the AI can make things look a bit too modern but I think you’ve trained it perfectly with this. Still the best of these channels.
If you believe that, you’ve never actually seen a movie made in the 1950s. For one thing, they didn’t have Super-Panavision 70. Only ONE movie was released in that format within the decade and it was SHOES OF THE FISHERMAN on 09 August 1959.
“And don’t miss the sequel, where she fights against the menacing Metroid Prime on the planet Tallon IV! Where a cancerous and radioactive material known as Phazon threatens to mutate the entire world into a nightmare unlike any seen before! Samus will need the aid of the people who raised her, the arcane and mysterious Chozo, to destroy this evil mineral and save the Galaxy! Don’t miss Metroid Prime! Coming soon to a theater near you!”
"SR-388, is the home planet of the vicious life-sucking parasites known as Metroids. The bounty hunter, Samus Aran, returns again. This time, she is on a mission to wipe out the entire Metroid species to prevent them from threatening the galaxy. @@vjspectron How about this for Metroid Fusion; "Samus Aran has encountered a new threat while accompanying a research team on SR-388; A gelatinous parasitic lifeform known as the X, which are capable of taking the shape, abilities, and memory of whatever creatures they consume. After she was infected, Samus was given a vaccine created from the genes of the last Metroid, enabling her to absorb X parasites. This new ability will be vital to her survival on the BSL research station, which is now infested with the X. As she fights her way through the space station and recover her lost abilities, she must also contend with the SA-X, an X parasite that has taken her form! What will Samus do, when the most dangerous enemy...is HERSELF!?" And here's one for Super Metroid; "The last Metroid is in captivity, the galaxy is at peace...OR IS IT!? The infant Metroid, which Samus Aran had encountered at the end of the previous Metroid adventure, has been stolen by Ridley! Samus pursues him back to Zebes, where she must once again traverse the planet from top to bottom, fighting threats both familiar and new, as she searches for the last Metroid. In addition to the Space Pirates themselves, she must also contend with other hostile lifeforms and a new batch of Metroids created by those cosmic criminals. Can Samus put an end to Mother Brain's plans once for all?"
Si esto fue hecho con IA, debo admitirlo, este si es un trabajo bien hecho y que si se ve que le dedicaron para que saliera bien, mis felicitaciones al creador
Holy shit this looks incredible! Why hasn't this been made into a movie?!?!?! I agree the aesthetic is completely off the charts. The alien landscapes in 50's style and panavision are perfect. This trailer is better than what Marvel has put out in the past few years.
Now i need this to be real. I see no better use for a time machine that going back to 1930, using my history knowledge to get filthy rich and producing this movie during the 1950s
I'll be thoroughly impressed when the A.I. can maintain a consistent design for the characters it generates, for now i guess it's kinda neat, kinda looks older than TV itself.
