not only do the philly players have melt downs but you said it the announcer is so salty and cant with himself.

I always feel a little bit bad though because I really like John Kruk.

Hey this was my first time, my second actually just now. I bumped into the other game where the Mets also rallied in the last inning and now this one. I hadn't ever seen highlights of the Mets winning with the opposing teams commentary. It's pretty fun to see and hear how the other side reacts.

Mets players seem to homer more easily in Philadelphia. Something about the air..😂

What's funny is the main announcer used to announce for the Mets lol

I've been a Met fan since 1964 so this is not a Phillie fan opinion, but Cohen is as much a homer as any announcer. He roots for them and when there are plenty of shots of him on RU-vid jumping out of his seat when a Met homers or strikes out someone in a big spot.

@@edwardcricchio6106 Gary is absolutely rooting for the Mets, but the difference is he’s not a sore loser. These guys do it and the Braves crew is even worse, when the opposition hits a home run, they’re silent. You don’t have to be excited about it, but you can’t literally ignore it like a 5 year old. Gary always calls the game like he’s supposed to. I think Kruk is really funny but he complains too much. But I think he fits the Philly culture well and I mean that as a compliment, I think people from New York and Philly are a lot more similar than people think.

What I like a ton about GKR is that they understand how good some teams are. But they don’t shy away from how dreadful some other teams can be. That’s what I like

I was at this game and im a life long mets fan . I cant tell you how ecstatic I was with the come from behind victory. I absolutely lost my voice. And all the Philly fans around me were pissed.

They don’t know any better . McCarthy can be good but in my opinion he thinks he’s gotta be a homer thus the “ oh no’s “. Etc . There pre and post game guys are brutal too - they just hate on other teams. Bottalico is one . I’ve never seen Zeile or Blevins or even Ojeda from before just rip another team and their fans cause they just got beat and are sore losers

Crazy thing is Tom McCarthy worked on the fan calling Mets games for 05 and 06. Just an awful booth.

Most booth are..SNY excluded.
