I'll never understand why Mexican fans always gotta trash down on Conmebol teams. Based on present, Venezuela has okay players but a great coach with a great system, Ecuador has top tier players ( minus attack) and an awful coach, but Mexico has a bad coach and a bad group of players. If Ecuador is so mid and Venezuela is so bad then how did yall not manage to score a single goal on either one. This and the WC will be a massive wake up call to all these Mexican fans on how bad they have fallen off and all the corruption that the Federacion has tolerated which has RUINED mexico.
Honestly I wonder that too calling Ecuador mid when all they needed was a draw to go through so they played for the draw and honestly that Venezuela game should of ended 1-1 but obviously they missed the pen so honestly Mexico is really mid outside of Concacaf
We’re all saying the same thing those 2 teams are better than Mexico but I’ve seen both Venezuela and Ecuador play and was not impressed by either IN THE GRAND SCHEME OF THINGS that being throwing the euro teams in the mix. If we’re only talking about vs concacaf teams then yeah they would probably all lose but dont over inflate Ecuador or Venezuela there not Argentina or Uruguay or even Brazil

Its the mexican fans and the mexican media who sold Ecuador and Venezuela as easy wins and bad teams. They aren't world beaters at all but they aren't the ass teams that Mexico made them out to be before the tournament started. Ecuador and Venezuela are MID level conmebol teams and should be respected as such just.
I'm not even kidding when I say that EVERY single team (maybe apart from Albania) in the Euros could easily beat Mexico and not have to think twice about it. This is by far the worst generation I've ever seen take the field, and here I was thinking the team that almost didn't make the 2014 world cup was the worst. Oh how wrong I was.
The part when he said they can’t run a 4-3-3 anymore, I can agree. It can work, the selección just needs an actual change of roster. I agree on Malagon, Montes, Johan, Edson and Santi keeping their starting spots, they just need to put in the correct pieces around them. Maybe Chino Huerta as a right wing and someone else on the left, Marcelo Flores probably as an attacking midfielder, and hopefully bring back Diego Lainez when he’s 100%. Just as long as we don’t see Luis Romo, Charly Rodriguez and Antuna back. Also, how can the selección find all these sponsors, and can’t find players who are willing to bleed la camiseta nacional? Makes no sense to me

Mexico don’t play to santis favor but also doesn’t play to Quiñones favor the only reason he works in America as a extremo is because of the midfield but la selección midfield doesn’t have the recovery ability or salida to make Quiñones play his way if Quiñones and Santi are our most talented players and if you play them with Santi on top and Quiñones right behind him you have a chance of creating opportunities even if you don’t have a good midfield

I've never come across a Santi Gimenez fan, I came across Dos Santos brothers' fans, this generation doesn't feel like it. Shit I considered myself a Raul Jimenez fan. The next move should be to move up the younger players, mixed with top talent (proven less than 55% of the team) and create a new star.
