MGSV: GZ(2014) OST: "Escape Combat Theme" W/Enemy Voice Overs One of the best themes in the series since MGS1. Thought I'd showcase it with the best enemy voice overs since MGS2 :)
Ironically this is a bad situation because you're supposed to be stealthy yet this is way cooler than the version where you succeed without being noticed, it's like Kojima wanted you to fail so you can experience a really good moment
Take a moment to understand how terrifying the situation would be if you were met with a legendary ex U.S soldier, mind you. The best soldier in human history, vigorously CQCing people effortlessly, and easily disappearing into the shadows with no traces and one by one everyone around you disappears with very little trace and you have no where else to go, the fact a mortal man could do all this makes this even more terrifying.
Imagine how scary it is to be a US soldier at a US Blacksite, knowing your prisoner is of high value and Big Boss, the deadliest soldier ever wants them back. Then you hear the sirens and the whole base light up and everyone loses their shit. Big Boss is here. He's throwing everyone to the ground and gunning everyone down so fast. You need reinforcements but he deals with them in the space of 2 seconds. He disappears and reappears with a knife to your throat, you beg for your life. You wake up an hour later. A tranquilizer dart falls from your chest. You are the only one left on the base. The prisoners are gone. Your comrades are dead. Now you know why he's called Big Boss
How about the poor saps that even know what's on? Just got transferred to the site without knowledge of the prisoners. Then lights blare radio buzzes ... " Hostles inbound!"
In my mind, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is the perfect Metal Gear Game, a small, but mysterious and infinitely fun game that makes you into a legendary soldier.
Yes I agree completely, camp omega it's an amazing scenario, the lights, soldiers, soundtracks all beautiful. There are a lot details, etc. The best mgs ever made. Now I'm trying to get the platinum trophy, I'm almost there
Ground Zeroes is what MGSV should've been. Open World design for Portable Ops type of levels while having the environments like Peace Walker In my opinion, Ground Zeroes was better than Phantom Pain
The US marines on camp omega know who Big Boss is and so when he's spotted they lose their shit. They know this man will kill anyone in his path- so they stress so much over one man. "They see him running, using cqc, and breaching further and further into the complex is scary. Just imagine watching the cameras system and seeing him take out your guards as he gets closer to his intel.
@@BodhiF No, they were expecting him. Skull-face and XOF warned the marines in some way. You can tell by the watch tower(s) set up outside the fencing staring out into nothingness and that guards even had to stand there watching nothing. It was all set-up.
Revolver Ocelot Not my point, yes it was a set up, but the soldiers don’t lose their shit when you get caught, if they saw anyone sneaking in to the camp they’d react the same way in metal gear they never shout shit like “OMG IT’S BIG BOSS” like he’s getting caught so much they instantly recognize him, and if it was somebody else they’d still go full alert to stop a solo intruder breaking into a blacksite, as if they’d only go on half alert or some shit
I remember having all the Ground Zeroes tracks downloaded on my ps3 just so i could listen to them while playing The Phantom Pain. The good old days. Now, i'm on a constant Journey to Point C-5 whenever i play on PS4.
too sad camp omega didint come back in the phantom pain i like the nostalgia of snake mullet, inglish speaking soldiers, a base to infiltrate instead of guard posts and last a pretty badass alert theme
I've been waiting for someone to do this. The escape with paz music is even more intense with the soldiers shouting and the commander on the speaker giving orders.
John Hector perhaps because Ground Zeroes is stripped of all the fat and unnecessary padding and it’s more focused on stealth as well. Camp Omega is still the best map between both games, OKB Zero is the only one from the Phantom Pain that comes close. There’s plenty of reason to prefer one over the other, they are not “the same game”
Rosso_ _aquila0180 Ground Zeroes is indeed the superior experience. This is one of the best and most defining moments in the game- I recall how intensely I felt a surge of adrenaline as I'm avoiding enemy fire, all the whilst trying to get the broken girl on my shoulders to safety. This music was the cherry on the cake- TPP may be a metal gear game but it lacked these moments where you truely felt like Big Boss.
Imagine if the English, Russian and Afrikaans communications were mixed in TPP. It'd make zero sense but it would be funny to hear the craziness between languages. South African soldier: Uhh, CP? 'N Kartondoos net verskuif op sigself. Adviseer asseblief. (Uhh, CP? A cardboard box just moved by itself. Please advise.) English CP: Understood. Don't let your guard down. Out. *later on, a Russian solider spots a DD merc...* Russian soldier: Контакты! (Contact!) CP: All fireteams, this is CP! Combat positions! All units to combat positions! *A seperate Russian soldier get's sniped by Quiet* Zoya 2 (Russian): CP, CP, это Зои 2! Враг снайпер ---! (CP, CP, this is Zoya 2! Enemy snipe---!) CP: You cut off! Repeat that last! Zoya 2, what's wrong?! Come in, Zoya 2! Delta 6 (Afrikaans): CP, dit is Delta 6! Ons neem swaar ongevalle! Versoek Friends! Oor! (CP, this is Delta 6! We're taking heavy casualties! Requesting backup! Over!) English CP: We can't spare the manpower! You're on your own for now! Out! HQ (Afrikaans):HQ afskrifte! Alle basisse, dit is HQ! Alle basisse draai sekuriteit en voor te berei vir moontlike vyand kontak! Uit! (HQ copies!! All bases, this is HQ! All bases tighten security and prepare for possible enemy contact! Out!)
It annoys me so much people with zero imagination go thinking you have to go through this game with 100% stealth. Snake was meant to get caught rescuing Paz.. Kojima created an epic.
Awesome!! very impatient waiting mgs1 version i don't remember in a video somebody put in his video a little bit the alarm of mgs1 with one soldier voice
Thanks for making this video, I've downloaded it and use it for my alarm, one of the most epic ways to wake up in the morning! Hope you make some more, maybe for TPP and MGS3?
This game, even if it's a prologue, it's a killing!!! It was the first game I bought on Ps4, I was impressed by the artistic direction and even on PS3 and Xbox 360 it is beautiful! But the All fireteam this is CP!!! It marked me for life! This game is fun and infinite! Frankly, the one who has not yet done so. Do not hesitate to do it because it is really worth it!
I was driving with a metal gear music playlist playing when this played over Bluetooth and I near shit my pants when that "hostiles inbound return fire played at the beginning." 10 out of 10 prank. Lol
I wish there was more English Bases, Like a sort of power struggle between outposts. Occasionally they'll be under different PMC control, Depending on the PMC is when like Cipher's Strike force would be ocelot squad-ish. While the less stronk PMCS are easier to invade. Its a shame with some more time this would easily be a game with random events on scale of those war areas on MGS4, itd be even better if you could actually "take" over an outpost like actually place Troops and shit there, Occasionally they'd get attacked by other PMCs wanting that outpost.
I just want to know what happened to Delta 6? Are they safe? Did they get extracted before the attack craft bombed the joint? Can they work on mother base?
