its mostly from having troops with the troublemaker trait. If you have plenty of diplomats and a decent medic platform level to counter it its not to bad but i just drop all trouble makers as i get them. If you do you'll almost never have dead or injured staff except during plot points
@@FrankCapybaraI mean, pretty sure most fultoned are brainwashed to love Big Boss and DDs. With notable exceptions of prisoners, Russian translator, that weapon dealer and soldiers that didnt like their job. Like I won't belive that Soviet officers that try and shoot themself when you try to hold up them will willingly join DD and fight their past comrade.
This was rad to see because I've never let morale decrease in my game. They put so many little things in this game people probably still haven't witnessed.
@@TovenDo.O.Video- I played this and at the time hadn’t played a metal gear game in over 5 years and that was mgs2 like the first hour or two anyways loved 5 then played mgs 3 and loved it
If you are interested in art that looks like the thumbnail I would actually recommend you to take a look at Baroque art. It is filed with more motion, action, and theatricality compared to renaissance art.
They didn't give us one because they knew, that as the bloodthirsty bastards we players are, we'd go all out on them and wouldn't hold back. We'd kick the shit out of them.
@@J_C_CH it would make perfect sense then. Boss was still going to punish them by whooping the shit out of them because he literally said as the knife was pulled out "you've got some blood to pay me back first" Perfect opportunity to whoop on some scrubs to get your mind off what the fuck kind of name is sahalanthropus
This scene tells me that originally they planned on having the same staff organisation system as in Peace Walker, where you would have to actually press an “Auto-Assign” button, because Ocelot says “If you see someone in the waiting room, give them a job to do.”
Also the fact that this cutscene has nothing to do with morale but happens when your GMP is red, suggests to me the morale system was originally planned to be much bigger/better but they scrapped it. So they just used this cutscene for GMP instead
@@Adam_U no there is morale stat. Just GMP in red is fastest way to lower it to critical. Also people in waiting room(not jail or solitray) lower it fast. Too much fights and deaths do too as I recall. I think its shown on staff screen?
A friend of mine who is new to the game never went to they're Mother Base and didn't really care about his men. After he saw this cutscene he now cares about them and visits his base on a regular basis to see them and to keep morale high
I like the speed in Venom taking them both down. Cutscene CQC is usually super emphasized so seeing the complex parts at full speed really puts it into a different perspective
this scene is surprisingly detailed, dont see stuff like that often in the brig if we had more like this the game would be much better than it already is
@@deltaxiii7803yeah haha. I don't know if it increase the morale. One time I kept kicking one of my soldiers while saying: Wake up, sleep, Wake up, sleep, wake up, sleep, wake up, sleep, wake up... and then I shot him with a tranquilizer before leaving with the helicopter.
I got this cut scene before. I didn't realise it was because of low morale though. I didn't even know morale was a thing because I was too busy getting resoources, doing side missions and Fultoning as much specialists and elites as possible in Afghanistan. Barely even visited the rig.
And right here we saw a glimpse of the Ocelot we used to have, just casually offering to yank the knife off'a Snake's chest. *T H E E N E M Y S N I P E R -*
What the hell exactly does Revolver do while Boss is gone? Like if I don't log in for a while does that mean Revolver is just acting like the cool parent that is letting there kids throw parties in the house?
If you beat up 5 or 6 of your soldiers does morale overall improve, or is it just those five or six soldiers?? because sometimes I go around beating up like ten or twelve soldiers per platform and it gets annoying a bit, lol, Im asking because I failed mission 22 by falling from a platform and my morale decreased, so since then I been going around beating everyone up even though I redid mission 22 and passed it.
The fact that a lot of cool Motherbase cutscenes only happen if you start playing the game "Wrong" kinda upsets me since there's so little of them to begin with. Still a cool detail, nonetheless.
This happened to me because the game suddenly thrusted FOBs on me and moved all my GMP online. So whenever I had bad internet, my funding was in the Red and the fighting would begin.
I love how soldiers fight is unprofessional. No cqc just kicking each other, and after that Venom comes and kicks their asses in 2 moves, just cause he uses cqc, even better after that he invites them on a training so even if they is gonna fight with each other at least they would do it right. That's really shows not just a Venom itself as a cool character but cqc as a superior martial art so you would be proud to use it and will not question its overpowernes. P.S. that's also shown in fights with eli cause despite this boy have great power he still looses to a trained cqc professional
Venom Snake: Your CQC is sloppy, come see me later for a lesson you won't forget. 2 Staff Members: *Salutes Big Boss and walks away* Me: *Looks at Big Boss* Your chain in command is sloppy too. They just dismissed themselves... Venom Snake: ... Ocelot: He's right you know. Venom Snake: Oh yeah? You're not pretty good yourself too. Ocelot: H-How dare you!? Me: 😏
this cutscene should also play if you extract the soviet soldier talking to the interpreter in the “extract the interpreter” side op for context: the interpreter has a conversation with a soldier asking him to teach him how to speak english, the interpreter tells him that “i spent last night with your girlfriend” is english for “your friend is my friend”
there are way to less interactions with your own Soldiers... Imagin Fight Lessons where your stuff gets better Target Shooting where you can give tips like Ocelot did Field lessons where you take some of your Soldiers with you Playing Football with the Boys like in PW Or an Fishing day An Cantina where you can interact with your Stuff, taking an Break eating, and listen to some Storys from Soldiers that came back from some Missions you send them too Larger Battles with your own man.
