Can you use the remote control to alternate between cable channels (zapping) like a common TV remote control? Or when you go "up" and "down" the channels you have to use a 2nd button to confirm? Thanks in advance!

It does not change the channel real time when you are hitting the up or down key on the remote. Say you are on channel 10 hbo, if you keep on hitting the up channel key, it will still stay on hbo, it will also show you the channel listings. Let's say you reached channel 21 mtv, then you stopped pressing the channel button, that's the only time it will change channel. So basically it wont show you the channels in between 10 and 21. Though if you press the channel buttons once, you can move from one channel to the other but you need to wait for the tv to recognize the signal. Not like with old school tv where it changes channel real time every time you oress the channel up button.

1. What are the hdmi type for port 1, port 2 and port 3? Port 1 and port 3 only 1.4 hdmi? 2. Can this TV supports Dolby digital plus + Atmos and DTS-X via audio passthrough to compatible soundbar?

1. Any of those can be set to HDMI 1.4, 2.0 and 2.1 2. If you're watching content from the TV's app like netflix etc. It can only do Dolby Audio and DTS-HD so those only supports 5.1 audio. However if the source is coming from a bluray player, media player etc,(audio passthrough) then yes, it can pass through those to your soundbar/receiver through HDMI (earc/2.1)

This tv only support up to dolby digital plus codec which netflix is currently coding meaning lossy atmos format. It does not support dolby true hd lossless atmos

We have the 43". How to turn on the Dolby Vision? Also, the patch wall is not working, I already set my region to India but it still says No Signal

I have not tested oatchwall because it is not supported in my country. Dolby atmos is enabked by default and would depend on the content your watching. Try searching for the words dolby vision on netfkix and try one of the movies. A dolby vision badge ahould appear on the uoper right hand corner od your tv as soon as you play a dolby vision video. Also RU-vid doesn't havw dolby vision, they have hdr.

7:42 did you try to turn on the dolby vision option on the ps5? Because the TV itself has already had a dolby vision to give enough brightness Not to mention the HDR10+ and HLG already had the TV itself too.

There's no option to turn on dolby vision and also PS5 does not support dolby vision on games. There are the compromises that you'll get really with a cheap TV.

Well Mi TV p1 series is corrupted then. I guess I'll look forward to Huawei vision i heard that it has 120hz but doesn't have hdmi 2.1. Thanks for the response. I wonder if you did really check it 100% cuz in the marketing itself already said that it has HDR10+ and HLG.

Yes it does all of those top of the line features, but the problem is implementation. You get what you paid for. A 500usd TV really can't compete with TVs ranging from 1600usd and above.

Great review sir and I enjoyed your input with comparison with your gaming monitor. Although overall, for the price and features, it's really worth it but I'm really worried based on the other reviews about the input lag, is it that noticeable when it comes to other games?

What games are you going to play sir? I have finished miles morales and honestly don't feel any input lag. But again i'm just a casual gamer.

The TV has a gaming mode, when you switch to HDMI 2.1, that solves the input lag problem.

What's the difference between European & global version? It has EArc hdmi so Does this support Dolby atmos?

I am not seeing hdmi 2.1 support for the euro version but it does have earc hdmi 2.0 Yes it supports Dolby Atmos through audio passthrough, so source needs to support atmos as well(media player, bluray player).

Hello, yesterday I bought that tv but in the 43 inches, I configured the brightness and everything but when I connect my ps5 the brightness looks too high and does not let me lower it with the settings button, I press it and nothing comes out but if I return to the Android tv section if you see and even with the brightness that I put but in the ps5 everything goes up to 100, is there any solution? Please help

Try this sir. Suggestion from Mark Malinao. Also turn off hdmi control in the input settings so that you can access picture settings while ps5 is plugged in

Hi. For iphone just make sure you are connected on the same wifi network. For youtube, just go to the video and look for airplay/cast icon on the upper left area of the youtube video, then locate your tv. If that does'nt work, just go to playstore on the Mi TV then install Air Screen. Open app, then swipe down on you iphone's control center then click on screen mirroring.

HDR is not well implemented on PS5 games mate. Well yeah it is 60fps for gaming.

I'm more of a casual gamer. I'm into RPGs like FF7 and some actions games like Miles. I have been gaming since the 90s and i cannot feel any input lags. Probably on pro gamers, with fighting games/FPS they might feel a difference. But for me honestly, i've been playing ps5 games with no issues.

Hi sir, May I ask if does this support 5.1 sound output in netflix? because I saw in this video that it only shows dolby vision in netflix. I'm not sure if you need to manually turn it on in the "sound" settings for it to show that it is supported 5.1 in netflix. Thanks

Hi Harold! It only shows those badges if you have a supported device connected and of course the movie should be either 5.1 or atmos as well. Let's say you have an atmos soundbar connected through hdmi, then it should show you the Atmos Badge. If you have a 5.1 setup through a receiver, then it should also show you the 5.1 logo on the movies front page. Yes this tv supports 5.1 output even if you play content on the TV (native Netflix app on the tv).

Hi, meaning to say that it is mandatory to connect the external device first so that the netflix can show the 5.1 badge in it's title page? I don't know if I can agree on that because I have Samsung & LG smart tv's (not android) and it shows 5.1 badge in title page on netflix even though theres nothing connected to them.

Mi TV P1 may not work similarly with other TVs. If you really wanted to use the TV's native Netflix App as source and have either a soundbar/receiver through SPDIF/Optical Output. Then go to settings > sound > speakers > then from "TV Speakers" change it to "S/PDIF > then on digital output change it to Dolby Digital. Now you should be able to see the Dolby 5.1 badge on your TV. If you use this setting but don't have any speakers/soundbar/receiver connected to your Mi TV. I'm afraid you won't here any audio. It is kinda pointless though to show the 5.1 badge also if you're just using the TV's built in speakers. Also your settings my differ depending on the receiver setup you're using so just select between PCM/Passthrough/DD, which ever works for your setup.

You still can't run it on 120fps even if you have hdmi 2.1 on 60hz panel.

PS5 does not have Dolby Vision though they have their own counter part. Really don't have an xbox availble. But yeah if the TV detects that the source have vision, dolby hd, dts then yeah it should give you the respective badge as soon as you start playing the content.

I really can't comment on the Coocaa tvs men but the Mi TV i i am quite satisfied with its Picture Quality in terms of movies and streaming on netflix. It's dirt cheap too! Try to purchase during major sales like on 12/12 and you'll get 2k discount and a freebie like speakers/soundbar and such

Are you using a sound bar? Or just the TV? You can check settings, then audio and check where the sound output is pointed at. Also check ps5 settings as well to pass through audio through hdmi

Very good question! Did not add in on the video but here is the summary. Places where the TV's mic work RU-vid App: if you are currently playing a video. Netflix: On Search Page and sometimes on homepage, So apparently it is quite inconsistent. It does work but on some places only. Range is also good, the mic can pick up my voice even if I am sitting in the couch. Hope they can fix this on future updates. Thank you for watching!

Actually this is the cheapest available. If you buy it on mega sale, you can get the 55 inch model for 22k plus if you're lucky, you'll get a free soundbar as well worth 4.5k so a pretty good deal!

@@BiskwitTV I decided to just go with the COOCAA 50S5G Pro 50 inch which just goes for 17,490 during this 11-11 sale (which went down to 16,511 with vouchers, shipping included). It's already 4k, UHD, HDR10+, with a HLG mode for gaming, 60Hz.

@@josephtud9659 so far, I’m enjoying it. Smooth naman on ps5 and not a lot of games utilize the 120Hz. It’s too big for my setup though, nalulula ako since I’m sitting too close. 43 inch is okay na pala. Pang living room na ang size ng 50 above.

Some smearing there on the subway scene from spider man. Probably thats why Xiaomi haven't stated the pixel response times in their specifications.

Did you receive it already? How is it bro? I tried playing Crash Bandicoot on the PS4 Slim then remote play on Vita. I am getting a different hue/temp on the TV.

Yep I got it from Mi store so I was able to bring it hone the same day. I can say its definitely better than my previous Full HD only TV when playing. The scenes are more immersive than before but regarding differences in the color/hue Im not able to discern the difference but it looks much crisper.

You can review that video at 8:31 basically you need to unplug the console first. Click the Set button on the remote, go to hdmi settings, then select hdmi 2.1. Also all hdmi ports on the tv have access to hdmi 2.1

I believe the 43 inch has the IPS panel, 50 and 55 has VA. The best though is too look at the pixels close up. Xiaomi is to blame, they don't include this on their specs sheet.

Bad review. The reason why in hdr spiderman its all black because you need to turn off luma control and local contrast in picture settings those settings are only for movies they dont work in games. Also turn off hdmi control in the input settings so that you can access picture settings while ps5 is plugged in
