Civics with light weight and ~300 hp should run High 10s in 1/4. Shouldn't he have still smoked that 5.0 if it was stock? Maybe bc race wasn't from a stand still or is it the top end v8 power that wins at higher speeds?

Pretty impressive for an N/A build. Mustang owners are stupid af. Strap a turbo on that little four banger and the Mustang is done. I'm a VW guy ( Mk6 GLI KO4 Full bolt ons with Water meth ) and I've yet to run into a 5.0 that can keep up. Great cars for sure but racing is about who has deeper pockets but more importantly who knows how to spend their money to get the most out of their vehicle. Don't believe me, there are plenty of KO4 GTI's and GLI videos showing how the 5oh can't keep up. If you're going to argue about how one car is N/A and one has a turbo stop making excuses and go buy a turbo or blower for your V8. Assuming you have the money for it, which most don't.
