Second only to John Oliver's show. Closer Look is pretty damn good, but John gets the unfair advantage of being allowed to be a bit more biting and make stronger stances and pull elaborate stunts to make a point or poke fun at a shitty subject. Closer Look is a lot more brutal than Colbert's Monologs, but I think Colbert's show has a bit more consistency in it's delivery where I don't mind myself enjoying each Closer Look back to back, but when its good? It's really damn good Awww Rudy ya' dunitagain!

I think all the asshats at Faux news and elsewhere railing about this investigation going nowhere do not understand what the word 'nowhere' means. And even many of those spouting this ridiculousness know very well that an investigation like this is just like an onion, layer after layer must be peeled back to reveal the truth. That's the real reason they're screaming, they know a dogged investigator like Mueller will very likely get to the truth they have tried so hard to obscure.

But it makes sense that Mueller would wait until he has explored every avenue of his investigation before filing such a charge as he would expect tremendous fallout from the office of the president upon doing so.
