David and Mike were soooo silly back in the day. Katherine had to put them both in line at times. David spent a lot of time at MJ's parents home getting into trouble.lol. David knew MJ for decades, I wish he'd share more of their friendship.

Michael wasn't suffering just from a concussion; he had second and third degree burns on his scalp, and they never healed completely. The chronic pain is why he was on painkillers.

I am not a professional on giving interviews but I really don't see anything wrong with her interview she at least she is not cutting people off when they are talking like that damn Oprah and larry King used to do

Absolutely, I have watched many documentarys about Michael and this one is by far the best and the most truthful and accurate. Everyone needs to watch it to see and understand the real MJ, the tabloids have exploited Michael for years, its sad that still today some people believe the lies and trash that they created about a great man. I find it very sad too, I always end up in tears by the end. Its superb!

David Guest does look a bit weird but weird looking or not he was a true and loyal friend to Michael. True and loyal friends are very hard to come by.

Yeah I also have it on DVD. I bought it last year. I totally agree with you. It is the only true documentary about Michael. Other ones I have seen were certainly not authorised by the Jackson family because they're all very bias against him so obviously his family would've had no knowledge of some of these other documentaries. Most of the people around Michael in his last days were handlers and such, many hired by AEG to protect him as more of an investment, and not a person.

Awsome. I respect David greatly. David, thank you so very much for this documentary. I was given it as a Birthday gift on Sunday 11th and can honestly say that this is the best documentary about Michael Jackson ever! I recommend it and wish you well David - get in contact pal :-)

Yep, and I mostly blame the folks in charge of the commercial, because they told Michael to stand in the center of a magnesium explosion, with only two feet on either side. MJ even said the fire was born of "stupidity" in his biography.

I just finished watching this, and there's one thing that bugs me: after "Off the Wall", Michael's music is barely explored. "Thriller" selling over 100 million albums is mentioned, and some photos are shown from "Bad", but nothing after that is spoken about. Everything from "Dangerous" to "Invincible" is virtually ignored, and the editing almost seems like it was deliberately cut. Following what little is mentioned of "Bad", the last 45 minutes focus on the 1993 and 2003 trials.

2:17 “a head concussion...and that strong of a head concussion made him dependent of pills and once you have a head concussion you’ll never get off the pills.” What the hell is he talking about? I’ve had at least 15-20 concussions and I didn’t get hooked on pain meds. I think he was confused.

He had second or 3rd degree burns though also mj had plastic surgery he had hurt his ankle twice he dropped from 50 feet lift out of the air and hurt his back really bad he had a photo shoot where some one was messing with his hair and was clearly still in pain he fell in the shower and hurt his rib cage or something in that area... he consistently had problems with his back , he also had root canals anything involving teeth is painful he was always getting hurt and always needed medicine and I sont think he was addicted I believe he was dependent not sure I'd you saw the video where he was arrested his hands were tied behind his back in a certain way and he tried to explain to the interviewer ed that the abused him and hurt his back and arms and now he cant sleep ar night plus adrenaline from all of the performances people yelling at him all the time and making him fall in the crowd and crowding him I'm sure he had issues with sleeping outside of pain I've taken my share of melotonin and tylenol pm and I dont like medicine but I'd you take it for several nights in a row you realize you cant sleep days after it then you kinda gave to go several nights without sleep just to get your sleep pattern back to normal

his head caught on fire, he didn't get a concussion from the spark. people don't end up on painkillers from a single concussion, maybe in prissy doctor for hire hollywood, but that's far from any standard course of treatment.

I never knew Michael suffered a head concussion from the Pepsi accident. Is this true? Btw, Michael didn't change after the Pepsi accident. He was still the same person as he was before the accident.

he should have sold his beatles catalogue to pay off his debt, and do a las vegas residency (without having touring the usa) for 1 year and promotions, sell neverland, move into a mansion in vegas

Maybe he did hit his head during the incident as well? He might have for all we know.

Jackson never had a concussion. He burned his head this guy must be on drugs. Also, he was not around Jackson during his last years so he doesn't know what kind of shape he was in or whether or not he could have done 50 concerts - the people who were around him said he could have. That said, he apparently did know Jackson well, especially in his younger years.

Yes, I know this, but doesn't a concussion occur when you it your head so hard that your brain hits or touches your skull? It's a brain injury. The brain is not supposed to touch the skull at all. It floats in fluid. That's why I wonder why he used the term "concussion".

Yeah. She's not very good is she. She keeps on saying um. I'm a Journalist and if I kept on saying um during an interview with someone I'd be fired because it indicates that you don't know what you're doing well enough.
