Was it a over the phone interview? I remember hearing someone asking Jordan who he thought is the goat and that could actually beat him in his prime in a 1v1 Jordan said there is only one could and actually would’ve beaten him is KOBE. He also said Kobe is the goat only after him

I think Kobe is better only because of the way he handled himself. Kobe didn't play 20 seasons minus the first 2 years . And the last 4 16 years he played at a solid level . And in 16 years he was always behind mj. MJ is better in 13 seasons than kobes entire career. Shaq wasn't better than Kobe. Lbj is very close and some would even say he is I won't argue. But if we remove stats and remove the incident he had . Let's just go off of the Players opinion. People who played against MJ, Kobe and even Bron. Will tell you Kobe was better than them All. The skill. The way to make impossible shots time and time again. All Kobe needed was 2 more rings and to stay healthy to pass up Kareem THEN you guys would admit he was the goat. He got injured and couldn't bounce back. But we all know if he had 4 healthy years extra let's low-ball it and she he avg about 24 pts a game . And went to a super team and gets one more ring.. then what?

I don't think you actually play basketball. All the great players average between 45% and 55% (95% of them) in the shots they make. Greatness is not just statistics and it is not even championships. Basketball is a team game so it is extremely difficult to say who is the greatest player. You can flip a coin - some days Jordan will do better than Kobe, some days Oscar Robertson would do better than Jordan, and visa versa. THESE PLAYERS ARE ALL GREAT AND SAYING WHO IS GREATER IS really not possible because they are are so similar. Just flip a coin. They are all great truly amazing and truly great. I will tell you the five persons who if they played on a team would never lose even one game no matter what other five players played against them. Wilt, Center, Kareem Forward, Russell Forward, Durant Guard, Jordan Guard. No other five players would ever win even one game against those five.

Even their coach Phil Jackson when asked to pick which one you want on his team he said, "flip a coin" when asked about choosing between Michael and Kobe. Mike did amazing things Kobe actually one upped him. It was Kobe who scores more 40 point games in a row and Kobe who scored 81. But still it is a team game. If you want to talk individual accomplishments then Wilt is far and away above everyone - he was the real leader in points (he stopped scoring on purpose after his 7th year) and in rebounds and blocked shots (he and Russell were basically even), If you asked on player to simply dominate a game no one would compare to Wilt in point scored, rebounds made and shots blocked.
