I grew up watching MJ. Most of the time I'd watch come fly with me before hitting the playground. My dad who passed away in February used to sit with me and watch the Bulls games. Not only is MJ the greatest player ever but a great part of what I shared with my father.
I remember watching that game and I was kind of a Lakers fan and my brother a bulls fan. When Jordan did that we all went crazy! Nothing like seeing something that amazing in real time!
Pls stop disrespecting him to compare to other names.. there's no such a thing MJ bandwagon, no nostalgic fantasies.. there are millions of ppl who witnessed his greatness, not to mention 6 rings, stats, crazy behind stories.. we still can see his games. GOAT! there never be another MJ...!
I was lucky to have been able to see this guy play. I’m a Houston rockets fan so we have to thank MJ for leaving the league those 2 years that allowed us to win 2 championships. Lol. But man was this guy special. His competitiveness, his dunks, his shot, his shoes, his fade-away....I mean I could go on and on. Lebron is good but I can’t say in my book that he will ever be as great as MJ was. To me, the different teams or losses Lebron had in his career really matters, it the “IT” factor. Lebron isn’t as smooth or has the finesse....I mean, I can watch these old MJ videos over and over again and I have. MJ=GOAT!
Unlike ANYONE in today's NBA you had to watch EVERY game Jordan played in because he did something you had never seen in every game!! He was honestly that amazing!! No one has ever captured my amazment since and ever will!! 🐐 Just listen to the announcers in this video and how in awe they were.... Especially Johnny "Red" Kerr!!
I've seen tons of MJ videos like everyone else. But this is the best. The footage is great. The music is great. I can watch this forever. Thank you for this.
I feel fortunate to watch the GOAT from his days at UNC all the way through his career in the NBA and all the stats, the 6 rings (2 3 peats) etc etc. A lot of the young folks have the videos but seeing it live as it happened, nothing like it!
First retirement I lost interest in sports altogether. Second retirement, same. Both times he came back restarted my sports fanaticism. Watching MJ was as magical as it gets, every Bulls game a must see television event. And my birthday is February 17th.
Really? Go watch a Kobe highlight reel from career. Kobe is easily on the same level as Jordan as far as skill set goes. Phil Jackson is even quoted as saying Kobe is was more skilled then MJ. I can pull the audio right off youtube. I think both are legendary ballers.
Dalmatinac3 have to love Kobe though for respecting MJ, using his moves, buying into Phil Jackson also, and Kobe similarly played great defense like MJ. Not as athletic as MJ but had his same mentality
As huge a Kobe fan as I am, I have to agree MJ is untouchable. Higher scoring average, more rebounds and assists per game, higher 2-point field goal percentage, higher PER, effective field goal percentage, higher win shares etc. Not to mention more MVPs, more scoring titles, perfect record in the finals, more championships. It’s ridiculous to say that Kobe was better or more skilled because more skill would show in the numbers. Numbers don’t lie. I love Kobe but Jordan is the undisputed King not just based on records but using modern metrics.
this is maybe the best mj video on youtube. perfect music and superb audio editing. thank you for reminding me that he is still the greatest player of all time
Don't know how anyone can think that Lebron is seriously threatening this man's legacy as the GOAT.....not even close in my opinion. The REAL #23 got that shit on lock!
Ratpack 74 - nobody thinks that except 12 year olds who only started watching recently and LBJ's desperate fans who conveniently want to ignore his free Finals berths every year in a pathetic East - where he lost 5 times. The day he lost his first Finals, the MJ vs. LBJ question was put to rest.
Boogie Loo yeah makes total sense to punish a 22 year old for Losing against a historic Team with 3 Hall of famers when his second best player was zydrunas ilgauskas
+Hendrik Fullgraf "yeah makes total sense to punish a [22 year old] for Losing against a [historic Team] with [3 Hall of famers]" Funny you should mention that. Because that's EXACTLY what idiot lebrontards do to MJ, when they CONSTANTLY bring up his 1st rd losses to BOS. NEWSFLASH: MJ was also 22 and 23 yrs of age (a 2nd and 3rd yr player), when those losses occurred. And that Celtics teams had 5 HOFmers on it! And just like lebron's '07 Cavs team, nobody (save for MJ) on those early Bulls teams, were EVER All Stars at any point of their careers. But unlike that '07 Cavs team, lebron's 2 other best players weren't MAJOR cocaine addicts either. MJ's was! You see this is the kinda' context that lebron's fanboys ALWAYS leave out, because it gives more clarity, as to WHY he kept suffering those 1st rd losses early in his career. And that's what they don't want to see/hear, because it doesn't fit their "MJ doesn't make his teammates better" narrative. Which is what they ALWAYS try to use, when they're looking to elevate lebron in stature over MJ.
Dat_BA06_Guy yeah I know that people make idiotic comments to bash MJ. Im not on any side, I just hate ignorant comments, whether they are against MJ or bron
Ratpack 74 Exactly Jordan poured his heart into this game the man would dive for the ball even when he see's its pass the out of bounds mark. Jordan was a true competitor I question if he was even human at times the man would fly when he dunked. He had what we call winners mentality
Jordan...simply the GOAT...no deficiencies in his game...an athlete par excellence. The fact that we were fortunate enough to witness history unfold during the Jordan era is something that I will always be grateful for. There is really not much to be said...thank you MJ...
theres a lot of good players today 2018,2019,2020 and more years to come draft after draft but you would never see anything like this ever again the beauty of moves, low post, hang in the air, most clutch shots moments, unbelievable circus lay,ups tounges out while hanging in the air never only for michael jordan the 23....
5:59 the greatest move in NBA history,, driving through 4 new jersey nets to lay it in on the opposite side, damn, that will never be beaten its astonishing to watch.
He glided past them in the air while dodging, ducking and then going under the rim for a reverse. I could watch it a thousand times and still be amazed
When you have the likes of magic johnson, larry bird, reggie miller and so on and so on and so on saying that you are the greatest thwy have ever played with, or even seen play, that says a lot about you. Michael Jordan did things that we never saw before and havent seen since. But mainly, it was his drive, his NEED to win and hatred of losing that will never be duplicated. Kobe hands down was the closest we will ever see, but, even he knew he wasnt on the same level as Michael
See !!! It’s Jordan , very very shortly video in his career highlights Nobody no more body like him untill now ever Thanks god I was born to Jordan’s generations
I've seen almost every highlight of his career and the way this was chopped up gave a very different perspective. You see the shot/block, and in your mind, you remember the whole play. And at the same time, it felt like I was seeing him make the move(s) for the first time. It makes me sad that I can't see this again for the first time.
We all forget sometimes that there no question he’s the one. Just that good. You made it a part of your life to never miss an nba on nbc game when Jordan was on. Best ever
GOAT. Growing up as a teenager I was fortunate enough to watch this guy play when I actually cared about sports. Not only was he uber talented, he had the utmost persistence and grit, elevated his teammates, and he never shied away from crucial game moments. He always wanted the ball when the time came and delivered in so many of the most clutch of situations during both the regular and post seasons. And he looked so pretty doing it.
The Finess and Beauty, Hangtime, everything on MJ moves is fun to watch.. Sadly i hardly remember his playin games on the bulls uniform.. Atleast fortunate to see him play live on a wizard uniform. GOAT. Great video by the way.
Carmen Calderon he inspired me to have South Asian GOLD medal for my country 2010 .. I have been fan of MJ since 1991 until death ... Thx MJ for making this game of basketball unconditionally Beautiful to the world ! No one can ever even get close to you ever ...!
Hardly there is any athelete or player who is so famous even after 30yrs of his prime Infact there is no one !!!! Who still regarded as the greatest of all time.
For those of us that got to grow up watching Michael Jordan play every night we were truly blessed for those of you too young to have gotten that chance you missed something special
He's a joy to watch he's like a ballerina on the court it's mesmerising and and absolutely phenomenal I am glad I grew up watching it never be the like Air again Never
Amazing compilation video filled to the brim with dazzling highlights from the GOAT! And wonderful music to boot. Thank you for making this video. I know it must have taken a while.
mj was so good at basketball that there is no real reason to play it anymore, he did everything. in fact a case could be made that he may be the greatest athlete in human history.
Just beautiful collection, thank you for this video. Oh wait, those were just ordinary days for Jordan, each night he made sure it was fun and entertainment, we were fortunate to actually watch him play
Watching mj I knew he was great. When he won his 3rd championship he could have not come back and still be the goat. Coming back in 96 winning 3 more he will always be goat its just not possible to top that humanely speaking.
Mj is my inspiration at times... Whther i make selection for my sports team this year nothings gonna hold me down. Im bringing it and im gonna rage..... and rage and rage..... If Michael wasn't selected for his hs team and still made to the nba i can do the same!
I was born in the Chicago land area and all my parents ever talk about is how amazing it was to watch him play. I love watching videos of him. Absolute legend and the 🐐
Best video of his highlights I have ever seen. Thank You for this. I remember watching him as a kid. I knew then it was something spectacular to be hold. He is the GOAT
Dude this is for sure one of the best videos iv EVER FUCKING SEEN!! Well done, and very well put TOGETHER with the music.. Almost like the music was especially made for this vid. GOD I MISS WATCHING FLIGHT 23 ON MY T.V... So glad I was privileged to watch the greatest NBA era, and the GOAT!
If there is no one better than mike before he played , while he played, and after he retired, then yes boys and girls, he is the best that has Ever lived, its not that difficult to figure out !
Wow. I've seen a ton of MJ videos, so it's very rare for me to be blown away by one. But this is such a video. There are some camera angles I've never seen before for some of his plays, and there are even some plays I've never seen before in any other vids (like the dunk at 2:44 against Cleveland - I've literally never seen that). Awesome video.
MJ makes me love basketball. Before he was retired, he never claimed himself as the greatest basketball player in the world. 6-6, 3-peats, Greatest Teammates-coach-Bulls absolute undebateable. Thank u Michael and beat team ever. Best Regards.
Micheal Jordan is by far the greatest of all time...I stopped watching basketball because it's not the same without him playing...I wish my kids got to see how he made the game better...
