The Red Mamba right, also lifting heavy weights leads to injuries. You don’t need to lift heavy weights to gain muscle, just do higher reps and go slower
@ppvplug3940
@ppvplug3940 5 лет назад
Chris but you do need to lift heavier weights if you want to get stronger, at some point those high reps because too easy for the muscle as it is already used to it.
@Detroit-gx5nd

Hoodrixh Jay Yes you may not get stronger as fast but it will still grow your muscles due to muscle tearing lookup “time under tension” and hypertrophy training. I’m getting old man lifting heavy weights can cause issues have to train smarter now!

He athletically had a bid of a downturn. What really made him so great (goat) was his fundamentals. His fade-away, footwork and post moves kept him at being a top scorer at an older age which was amazing. But obviously in 96-98 he wasn’t jumping or running like he did in the 80s

Maybe it’s my fault. Maybe I led you to believe it was easy, When it wasn’t. Maybe I made you think my highlights started at the free throw line, And not in the gym. Maybe I made you think that every shot I took was a game winner. That my game was built on flash, and not fire. Maybe it’s my fault that you didn’t see that failure gave me strength, That my pain was my motivation. Maybe I led you to believe that basketball was a God given gift, And not something I worked for, Every single day of my life. Maybe I destroyed the game. Or maybe, You just making excuses.

Jordan is the Muhammad Ali of basketball .Everyday he went into that court knowing one things; that he was the hardest working player which made him the best. +Dabmayne - Ali isn't just a great athlete he is a great figure in history... Jordan presented with the same opportunity as Ali to stand up for something bigger than sports and Jordan's answer was "republicans buy Jordans' too" Ali went to prison standing up for what he believed in during his prime. Jordan on the other hand chose to leave the game simply because he didn't want to do it anymore. Jordan is not on the level of Ali period.

There are always trade offs for gaining strength like agility and speed when putting on more muscle mass at some threshold. MJ trained to find the perfect balance of strength and endurance with speed, agility, and explosiveness. That is why he was apprehensive to start a strength training regimen and hired Tim Grover to see him through it.

Could you imagine what a prime Michael Jordan would do in the NBA with today's level of training and nutrition? The best example of what that would look like is Lebron James... his training/diet is all cutting edge, way ahead of the curve. If we dropped prime MJ into the NBA today and had him training like LBJ, he'd SHATTER every single record in the league.

@tmat2024
@tmat2024 4 года назад
@@rakeemthomas3349 Whaddup!!! 115 lbs is a great weight to workout! Heck, using your own bodyweight is a great way. This whole plandemic has a lot of people rethinking the way we workout...and before you know it, rethink going to that moneypit, aka, the gym. I know this, it puts people at a great advantage from all of the super-duper muscleheads, who are shrinking as we speak! A good channel to visit here on RU-vid is AthleanX. Hundreds of videos that you can use. Hope this helps. Two more things: 1) deadlift or squat with that 115 and 2) if you can, get a pullup/dip bar. They will change your life!

tmat 2020 great advice bro! The scamdemic has got me running, doing push-ups in the drive way, squats using kettle bells and water jugs. I’m going on a run after this, just came to watch Jordan work to give me that xtra push. I don’t know if I’ll go back to the gym after it’s done. I probably will for the bench etc and the eye candy but I’m improving much more doing these other activities. 🙏 bro!

michaels build always looked pretty natural for the muscle he put on. some nba guys and athletes in general just train in bad and unnatural ways and the muscle they put on isnt as effective and they start to move unnaturally and slower. not saying training for bulk is inherently bad for everyone, but for most athletes it's much more about function and range of effective motion than bulk and you can tell the difference between the ones who focus on one or the other pretty easily in a game like basketball if you pay attention.

0:05 Jordan was super committed and ambitious on all parts of the game and training. Another player says and I'm paraphrasing: "Even at the height of his career, even after he proved himself and got multiple rings; if it's 50 pushups during the workout, Jordan was never doing 49, but 50 exact even though nobody would have said anything to him if he hadn't at that point of his career".
