@@mohammadsarker8911 It's based on Weather Report's song yeah, but the style they played the song is kinda different. Different instrumentation, a specific arrangement, and the bass having some bars to do some impro over the theme. Saying that he is just playing the bass line is a way of discrediting their effort.
My GAWD Michael Pipoquinha is a MONSTER player and one of the BEST versions of TEEN TOWN I've ever heard. He is firing on all cylinders ; Playing, Tone, everything !

@@drummrguy the focus isn't supposed to be the drummer. So he's keeping it toned down to highlight the bass player. In a jazz band you gotta know when to play out and when to back off.
BTW Jaco needed only 4 strings. There is no doubt about the vistuosity of this player, top notch. However, IMHO he is not a genius, Jaco is the genius.
@@user-qj7cc5dn5o Jaco learned to play the bass at 17, he played with Weather Report at 24. That is truly genious. There is no doubt about the virtuosity of this player (as I stated before), but it is not even close.

A verdadeira música, os músicos da Orquestra verdadeiros gênios, o baixista outro gênio. Nem me atrevo a entrar nos melhores adjetivos que passam qualificar cada um da melhor maneira que merecem, porque seria até abuso de minha parte devido a tanta qualidade em incríveis músicos e até os melhores elogios ja não podem expressar o privilégio de vislumbrar tanta técnica em apenas 4:13. beautiful performance. shows respect for & has a lot of nice nods to the original, but has a unique personality that still fits the song. you can’t ask for more in a cover. perfect.
