Man congrats to Todd I actually really like the guy but I can't wait for someone to have an answer to this King's Move, it just seems so cheap. He's under the table, arm fully extended so it can't physically be bent any lower due to the angle from shoulder to elbow. It's not fun to watch at all.
lets just be honest its complete bullshit. No way u can pin Todds arm, either u have to break his arm or he has to stand up, theres no muscle involved in any way just an armtendon taking all that power of chaffee.
@@MichelLinschoten , That's not why. It's because Michael Todd got so much flack in the past from arm wrestling under the table, that they banned that rule with Devon's match. So Michael Todd had to arm wrestle above the table, like a real arm wrestler does. Michael Todd cannot win if he arm wrestles above the table. Michael Todd can only win when his arm is completely extended straight and his knee is on the ground, which makes his arm in an upright position making it impossible to pin him unless he's under a lot of pain.
@@damudderburd3939 LOOOOL, if he is "best in the world" then he needs to go fight Levan Saginashvili to prove that, i think if he tried that pussy undertable move, Levan would just broke his arm
This is not strength vs strength.... Sorry I have to disagree. I like Michael Todd and I follow his channel and he seems like and awesome guy. However this is using body mechanics resting and then pressing. Sure what he does is dangerous but it is not true strength vs strength competition.
When John Brzenk beat Denis Cyplenkov I didn't hear anyone saying it wasn't truly strength vs strength, although Denis is by far the stronger man, John was a better arm wrestler. The same thing applies here, except it's hard to say if Chaffee is even stronger than Michael Todd.
How exiting both guys hanging of the edge of the table with straight arms..... The sponsors and spectators will go nuts because it will be the most exiting arm wrestling Ever!
8:25 Dave Chaffee frustratingly smirks thinking I think I just lost this and then looks at Michael Todd whom is looking into his soul and gives him "that is correct" nod. They then makes eye contact and begin to laugh. Priceless.
Bro Devon dug deep with a diss on this one! If you think about it Michael Todd was in Dave’s corner so Devon dissed both of them by beating Dave with michaels move! To top it off he went under the table and pointed at him 😂
@@JohnjOcampo Well if by ..You people. .. that includes John Brzenk, who has said Himself that MT was using it.💡 So .... I'll trust John's opinion 100% of the time over yours. And so will everyone else.
@@willstuart4504 the first time we saw the offensive king's move was against devon in WAL 406, michael said it himself. John was referring to the defensive king's move and if you know about arm wrestling you can distinguish both by just observing something you need to do more often.
@@willstuart4504 all good man i just seen alot of people give out false information about michael and its frustrating but im glad you understand what meant.
Man, after hearing the crowd boo Todd in front of his wife I feel bad for notpicking him as hard as I do. Devon Larratt uses the King's Move whenever he wants and nobody boos *him* for it. Honestly, I'm done being pissed at Todd for using using a move that is 100% legal. It's on the WAL to ban it, so if anyone deserves blame it's them. So props to the Champion. You rock, Mike!
So proud of you baby! And as for the haters! Obviously you’re uneducated and didn’t even pay attention to this match! Monster Never Once has his shoulder below the table and had a completely dominant performance. Super proud! Only up from here baby!
His arm was as extended as it gets, and below the elbow at so many times, even in losing positions. The shoulder should never be allowed to be below the elbow in a losing position, it's hilarious, what he does is no arm wrestling, it's armlock hanging cheating. Don't try to defend such unsportsmanly stuff.
@@AllThingsFascinate He did. Not in recent years, but if you enter Michael Todd vs Denis Cyplenkov on the youtube bar, you'll find it. They did 2 supermatches. One is from 2011, and the other one is in Las Vegas, dunno the year.
Have you ever done that move? I have done it on someone that is like 1x stronger than me and my fucking biceps hurt for almost 3 days straight.@@dragonballthings688
People will never get over the kings move, the fact is it’s legal in this sport whether you like it or not. Why keep bringing it up? I’m not a huge fan of the move either. It won’t be going away any time soon though
@Not Your Business But Cyplenkov already steamrolled this clown in armfights 2016 He had steamrolled him again in arnold classic in 2011 although he was gassed from lupkes match
Me My Self and I Todd maybe 3 times lower but certainly not x3 stronger. I personally have heard him say that his strongest ever version in terms of (what else) power was in 2007. He benched 520-525 if I remember correctly. He may got steamrolled from Voevoda that year but physically he looked very “hard” and strong indeed
@Me My Self and I He said he hardly benches 400-420 instead of 525 he benched in 2007. So physically no. However in WAL he is allowed to use his ugly move to a greater extent so i get your point
That is very unlikely because when they fix those broken arms they take tendons from the legs, which are much stronger than the arm tendons so the arm, after it has been fixed, as Michael's has, is a much stronger them the arm of a normal person.
Saginashvili would beat Todd 6-0, just look at him now, even kings move wont stand a chance. More chances to break todd's arm than seeing him beat Levan
Dave need to train on his flop wrist press... I can't believe he can't press down Michael kings move even Andre Pushcar and Dimitri press him down...He got the strength but lacks endurance...
The thing I like about Dave is, there's never any bs. Same with the Monster. Devon may be one of the best in the world, but there's always some kind of drama.
I love how the announcers act and talk like Dave didn't pin him because of technique and not because Todd's arm was already straight and couldn't go ANY more.
@@GTIngold what counts is if people are actually going to watch a guy win after his arm was straighter than *180⁰. That's a straight up loss any day of the week or anywhere on earth. Kings move is a disgrace and so is anyone who defends it.
@@garyrobinson3735 ok bud. 45° you mean 180°. Nah you just have a problem with something you dont understand. Todd is by far not my favorite puller but he is beatable. So lets see in this match hed get one lose by your def. Thats still 2 to 1 and soon after 3 to 1 since Chaffee has shown he has no heart nor endurance.
@@JohnjOcampo I get your point, but the guy above means something else, and that's that Todd's arm is so stretched out that he comes across as sneaky. That is the sad thing
Don’t listen to these fools. I won’t be surprised to see Devon pull out the kings move on Chaffee. You beat Chaffee easier than anyone EVER. Be proud and keep getting stronger. Prove your #1 in the world!
@@nirianirar5298 im not worried about others opinion and neither is michael who has beaten devon, jerry and chaffee all in row. Come get the hammer and quit bitching.
I am impressed with Todd, even though I hated him in the past. He didn't dip his shoulder under the table, and he still obliterated Chaffee, who is probably in the top 3 strongest armwrestlers on the planet. This is a version of Todd that I would like to see.
This match was boring, I knew that Todd was going to win, but not that Dave would just give away every pin for free, as soon as he struggles, he quits, that’s why Devon is going to beat him, because he fights until his last breathe, Dave doesn’t
The Shobalt actually me neither, but I hope we are underestimating him, he manage to pin Michael without his hand on 2018 twice, I’m sure if he returned to his 2008 training methods and worked his weaknesses he can still claim the number 1 spot
Shinrion Ah in all honesty I look at it as if devon beat Michael last year, just bc michaels arm was literally completely straight lol. If they still used 7x7 pads instead of 9x7 Todd might not be as dominant as he is
The Shobalt that’s the same thing I think, but well, there’s a reason Europe don’t consider American leagues seriously, our leagues are made more for entertainment purposes than for sport progress purposes
No chance to win against Dave Chaffee without the kingsmove, Dave is stronger than all of them, they should ban this move and let Todd fight against Dave again...
This version of MT is actually crazy good, he stopped Dave without a kings move round 1. His forearm is literally at a 90 degree facing upwards so he's nowhere near using his bonelock.
ye... the dubai version who was pulling, corey and hutchings for 20 minutes and flash-pinning them both for 20 minutes straight sure wasn't in good form. Fuck me.
Full tricep on the pad is actually okay because having elbow on the pad doesn't just mean the pointy part of the elbow. The elbow joint that extends to your tricep also counts as elbow. This isn't the first time you've seen this btw. Cyplenkov had also put this whole tricep on the pad before, and the WAF refs are completely fine with that.
Kings move is fine, but the rules need fine-tuning. Resting tricep and arm flat should be a foul. Shoulder under the table in neutral or losing position also a foul. Floating elbow also a foul. Fix those three things and kings move is still possible but far less effective and far less ugly.
Under the table arm wrestling. Absolutely embarrassing that you can have your arm completely straight, kneel down under the table, and that's not illegal. It is such an embarrassment watching this that I watch it because I'm just blown away how this got overlooked as a legit arm wrestling move and form.
Monster Michael Todd is a true champion. He puts all his training, nutrition everything out there for all challengers to study and train themselves to beat him. He hides nothing and still wins. He dominated this match 100% legally. His shoulder never goes below the table. Monster you are a true “King” of this sport.
He is not the only one to do the kings move. But whenever anyone else does it all y’all haters don’t show up, y’all want to act like it’s not a big deal. All it is is another angle that does take a lot of skill and a lot of strength. It is completely legal and fair. 🔨🔨🔨
I know you get a lot of hate for your move buts that move is now part of the sport. And after watching the match and videos there's no doubt that you have a heart of a lion your work ethic is inspirational keep it up champ
Justin Cyrulik well said. I hated the kings move at first but I started watching his RU-vid channel and really started to appreciate this guy. He makes the sport better for sure.
both of you are are f.uc.king jokes ,, d.ick riding for this disgrace to the sport ... hopefully he retires soon or dies , will definitely be a good day for the sport either way
@@mansgottaeat2932 haha your probably one of those guys that place in the amateur class when there is only two ppl in the class lol then you go home and flash your medals
I don’t know, this just doesn’t look like arm wrestling. A near fully extended arm and most of the tricep resting on the table. It’s basically just a stiff stick with the weight of a big human body on the other end. Change the rules ‘Tricep cannot contact the elbow pad’
If the Kings Move is easy and cheating how about you try pull someone in a Kings move. No one likes giving this man the credit he deserves for the strength he possesses. When Devon Larratt dropped into a Kings Move against Todd Hutchings it was fine but when Micheal does it it’s cheating.
in this match michael todd were not under table so better but still no devon won by honest kings move shoulders above table michael todd well he has shoulders under table and elbow fouls michael todd has illegal kingsmove proved here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mcdoee19GSA.html
im not a michael todd hater but lets be honest, if he couldnt go under the table he wouldnt beat anyone in the top 50, if he armwrestled the way dave chaffee does it would be like a grown man vs a teenager. the difference in strength here is crazy
All the bullshit about the kings move is stupid. As long as your elbow is on the pad, it's fair. People just jealous cuz they cant figure out how to beat, OR execute a kings move at all. Reading the many comments about how the Monster "cheats" pisses me off! Michael Todd is a beast, he trains hard af, and man, I hope you keep that hammer, pissing people off along the way, for a long, long time! 💪💪
If you have ever done the kings move yourself, you'll know how it actually feels when someone is pressing you. Trust me when I say there is a limit and the arm will go down before it is actually straight (and no I am not referring to the arm break or any sort of tendon/ligament tear)
The positive comment that I have about Michael Todd is you married a woman who loves you and is remaking your image through this RU-vid channel and is having a positive effect on your life! You should thank God for her daily!
As soon as todd goes under the table i can't watch any more because it's so boring, and in my opinion a technique that should be banned...Hey and we all know what they are worth.
