Dear Mick I'm a fan of hers who writes to her from Sardinia (the Ireland of the Mediterranean ...). I am collecting materials to write an Italian book about Moving Hearts and I am very interested in the time she sang in the band. In the RTE Archives I found a Moving Hearts video in which you sings a song I know nothing about. I tried to transcribe the text (which cannot be found on Intenret). The transcript looks something like this: you are the soldier you are the soldier and you given it all your best you came home and you carried a flame for the people you came home from the wars weathers and stars and you carried a flame for the people and you carried the truth that night if you can find your wear to bed you wont to clean a love but that's all right sing your song be what you are carried a flame Surely this transcription is wrong, but I would like to know more about this song, I would be delighted!
