This quick video shows a time lapse of an entire micro camper van conversion using a Daihatsu Hijet as the base vehicle I completed over the summer. The Daihatsu Hijet campervan conversion took just over 15 full days to complete and carry out bodywork repairs and respray. The Hijet camper van is transformed inside from a basic panel van to a lovely little micro camper van with all the requirements to meet the DVLA conversion standards with running water, gas bottle storage, gas hob, extending sofabed, 240v & 12v electrics, LED lighting, USB charging and a big leisure battery with split charge relay.
