For me Reno is the best girl of this event. I've been waiting so long for an vanguard ship which carries a banner into battle.

This set of ships is what I want to see from the new ships. Ones that don't raise the power creep at all, but have solid usability and bring in some new options for the future. It's a delicate balance the devs need to keep in order to give us ships we want to have without either messing up the power level completely or making the new ships completely worthless. I think they have been doing a pretty good job at it lately.

I could tell Bremerton was in the good tier. Strong but not quite full meta destroying like some seemed to think / behave like she is. I see you gave Casa more credit then I did. I was so on edge where to go with her... had so many voices going near every which way with her! But she looks fascinating. Thank you for your hard work dude! Amazing as always!

Casablanca is so good for a rare ship that it's a sin for not giving her a Retrofit! I'm currently focus on leveling her to 120.

This event is pretty good for new players like me. I don't have Sandy Retro, Essex, or Baltimore but their younger sisters seem pretty good too.

Y'all Casablanca is amazing. Her skill can activate twice/stack. When I used her during a sortie, her quick takeoff gave her an instant second airstrike but then her second airstrike also activated quick take off so she launched 3 airstrikes in one second

Thanks to Casablanca it is possible to have a total aviation boost to Essex of 57%: 12 from Casablanca, 15 from Baltimore, 15 from having 3 Eagle Cv/CVL, and another 15 if she shoots down planes with her fighter. On an odd number battle Intrepid has 42% in the same fleet. Plus with the carrier reload buff Casablanca gives makes Eagle Union carrier backlines scary

C3 is not the most efficent map for currency farming. C2 gives 100 currency instead of 110 but only needs 4 battles to make the boss node pop up.

@just3c Thanks for your videos. How do you farm on C3? For me C2 is still the best on effectivnes (Ranger + Laffey = 18 Oil * 5 Fights = 90 Oil for 100 event points).

Please be clear to your audience, because seeing you upload a lot of Arknights videos makes me worried about the future, there's only your channel that I know that actually makes good AL videos, your event guides and ship reviews are absolutely vital to the community. Marblehead's skills make perfect sense. She has the same skills as all but one of her sisters in the Omaha class (Richmond has reload comand for cruisers instead of quick reload). Stats wise she trades firepower and AA for torpedo, compared to her rare sisters Memphis and Concord. She actually has the lowest firepower of her class, beingbeaten even by her common sisters Omaha, Raleigh and Rishmond.

Marblehead may be the worst from the event but she is still numba 1 in my heart

I’m not a meta player, but these videos are very informative about the gear and ships. I’ve played Reno and Breminton after a bit of leveling, and they perform quite well for me.

how is C3 most oil efficient map? from experience B1/C2 seem better if you can't do D3 what oil cost and comp do you recomend for C3 otherwise?

Personally I prefer Halsey Powell over Cooper. I have both at 100 Affection, but Cooper lvl 100, and Halsey Powell lvl 101 (didn't care to level them up higher or oath, might do it close to Operation Siren). Here's my reasoning: No it's not because Halsey Powell is 1 oil cheaper (Foxhound is cheaper than both in that case!). Both DDs have an ASW skill, and similar, decent ASW stat (Cooper = 215 and Halsey Powell = 214 at lvl 120 and 100 love), however Halsey can annihilate SOS bosses very quickly, because her skill activates at the *start of the battle* and boosts her ASW stat, *higher than any other ASW stat* for 20s, then reactivates after 10s, then cycles between activating for 20s and then being inactive for 10s, whereas Cooper's ASW skill activates *after 20s* into the battle and lasts 10s. You might say that a 10% damage boost vs subs is better than 15% ASW stat boost, which is true, but *Cooper's boost comes too late* and by the time Cooper's skill is a factor, the submarine boss will already be dead. If it takes you more than 20 seconds to finish SOS boss fleet, then you must be doing something wrong. Gear used: Twin 127mm T3 +10, Quintuple Torpedo T3 +10, Quad Bofors AA T3 +10, Hedgehog T0 +10 and Advanced Sonar T3 +10. If you want to argue that Cooper works best in events with lots of subs, rather than quick burst damage, then why not use both in that scenario? The only annoying thing is that Halsey Powell's buff does not align with the timing of Cooper's because there will be 10s gaps where Halsey Powell's skill will not be active, so 1st will miss Cooper's proc, 2nd will be on time, 3rd will miss, 4th will be in time, etc. This is such a minor issue however as the only highest constant ASW stat is Eldridge's (not even an ASW ship) and her stat is only 12 higher (level 120 + 100 Affection), and she of course uses more oil as an SR ship.

Well we're eventually going to transition from the Pacific theater to the atlantic at some time. And the germans were notorious for their submarine wolf packs.

My boss fleet is best described as "Buff Centaur and Formidable as much as possible." And now with Casablanca. Hurts to be dropping Victorious from the mob fleet though but its a long time coming. Can't drop Illustrious because I need her shield for mobbing.

I have Chaser at 120 just sitting there drinking tea for when she's needed.

Got Bremerton on my first run on 3B o boy those 8000 points saved, and yeah i will marry her and my eagle fleet will be complete : Georgia, Washington, Essex, Bremerton, Laffey and Sandy

Would it be advisable to use Reno in tandem with AA ships like Seattle in a fleet? I barely got through 13-1, cause I didn't have enough AA to stop the backline from taking a bunch of damage and the rest of the maps scare me.

On the off chance that Fuso Meta is a BBV. Is there a better option for carrier Armor break on a BBV than intrepid ?

agreed 100% on casablanca shes an excellent lil carrier. And yes i have atleast 1 carrier in every fleet i have my main fleet is a USN fleet with lexington,south dakota,Saratoga (retrofitted) And using the new ships in a second USN fleet. MY 2nd main fleet is an HMS fleet with warspite.illustrious,hood rounding up the backline. Absolutely love what casablanca does for your carriers.

In the event Marblehead and Casablanca speaking about retrofit, that changes cruiser into some seaplane carrier. And thats when we remember about Shirakami Fubuki with her planes, when we see new type of destroyer Cooper... Maybe this is testing of new mechanic for future retrofits?

About the Sandy Retrofit how many have it ? Reno is at her Peak the 2nd best AA CL with nubah wan being Retro Sandy of course

Anyone know how to unlock chapter 3? I've got all stars on A and B but Cdoesn't show up. Am I meant to play on hard and and Chapter 1 and 2 again?

@Just3c C2 is the most efficient map to farm currency, it has 4 battles before boss vs. 5 on C3. C2 gives 100 points while C3 gives 110. So the math is easy on this one.

Another good thing with Reno is that she is a sweet cinnamon roll.

Hey Just3c, awesome review of the shipfus as always. I'm just gonna post here some information I got from an Azur Lane group and I want to know your insights. Again, this is just copy paste from what OP has posted: "As usual, it lacks additional information and simply saying "they are weaker than meta so use meta instead" But not all of them are weak, he never simply used them that well First off: 1.The new Avenger plane may have a slower reload, but give it to a CVL to solve the reload issue. CVLs have high reload stat than CVs. Like I said in my review before, this plane is usable in both pve and pvp. 2. Reno - basically she is the gun version of Sandy is Sirius like skill. If Sandy focused on AA, Reno is more ground damage. Give her DD guns since she has high DPS like Sandy. As usual you compared it to Sandy and you degraded Reno 3. Interprid - he should have said that Interprid is basically a Swiss army knife version of Essex. If Essex has consistent damage, Interprid changes from increase damage to defensive skill per battle due to her skill. If your problem is lack of focus bombing? SIMPLE! Put a BTD - 1 Destroyer. So Intrepid will become a versatile bomber due to the 2 Helldiver from her skill and the BTD bomber per launch. 4.Bremerton - the skill barrage may be weak but this isn't important. Think of it as a bonus damage because of the function based on the pattern that it spreads to much. It's meant to kill 1 health enemies or adds damage. HE guns are recommended namely (Prototype Triple 203mm MLE). She is a swiss army knife version of Baltimore. Good for tanking in most situations. But for late game like chapter 12, she should be in the rear position."

I'm wondering if anyone has done the calculation about Casblanca's discount Preemptive Strike? How fast her first airstrike is when compare to the fox sisters? After all, while Akaga get a better skill, they have only about 2/3 of Casablanca's reload stat.

I missed 2 ship in this event so far , Cooper and Marblehead. I even pulled 2 Reno and 4 Interprid but those two just won't join me. Right after I finished this video, I do a 10 pull and I got 2 Cooper, 1 Marblehead, another Interprid and an extra Enterprise. Thanks for the RNG bless 3c sensei
