I ran these legion at a lokal tournament. Ran 2/3 Uruks , with Ugluk, Mauhur, Grishnakh and an Orkcaptain at 550. Half of the Uruks had bows. Movement combined with the S3 bows was surprisingly effektive. Also the combination of heroes like Mauhur with an orc or Grishnakh with an Uruk in combat was devastating.... wounding Ents on 5s...🙉

I don't think either Ll are super competitive at high points due to the lack of really a great high tier hero to fight off say boromir or aragorn! But i definitely plan to try both despite my hatred for lurtz! Cheers for the shoutout Ste, made me look like a right SBG nut!🤣 Keep up the good work!

I have played ugluk scouts a few times now as I love the army. At 600p (ugluk, mauhur, grishnak and orc capt.) Its a cool list but not very competitive, as I you can't compete with bigger heros. I played it at 300p (ugluk, mauhur and grishnak) against faramir ranger LL and won all 3 games. Anomosity was great, wounding on 3+ against the rangers. I am yet to play lurtz LL but very keen to give it a try.

I ran them with 2/3rds uruks, of which half had bows. With the marauder upgrade, half move is 5,5 with the drum, so your orcs wont fall behind. One warband of marauders can be used for a very speedy flanking maneuver.

Hi Steve. I'm a very new player to MESBG in terms of playing. I got into the game when the new Peleanor Fields boxset came out. Since then have been building up my Army of Rohan. Listening to your two videos on this one and Lurtz I was wondering for a standard 1000 point game what would you recommend for an Evil side force of Isengard based around these two characters? Considering most units are still.direct order. I'd appreciate what sort of inventory you would recommend me getting.

Hey buddy Isengard is one of the better lists for being able to list build in a ton of different ways, you can go all out heavy hitters with cool 3 might heroes and a ton of f4 s4 troops, or use Saruman who is prob the best caster in the game to really annoy your opponent. Depends on your play style, but I really wanna build a list which is a horde list of as many armoured uruks as I can get in there, no main target for my opponent, captain and mid tier heroes, couple of ballistae, that would be my list for sure

@@TopTableGaming for first time: 0.5/wins. Draw against dhe who won, so thats more than ok. Learned a lot. Like dont have the drummer by them selfs and bring a socerer.
