Tim, that's not Wadsley Bridge, it's Hillsborough. Wadsley Bridge is at the end of Penistone Road, where Halifax Road starts. The old Wadsley Bridge station is there.

The Park Hotel years ago on wadsley lane. I frequently had a drink there.

This is Wadsley going towards Middlewood. There are still plenty of shops. Wadsley Bridge is up Penistone Road North toward Halifax Road where there is also a small shopping centre. Best wishes Tim.

Seeing how youre this end of town Tim go check out Wardsend cemetery. It isn't very big but it has a lot of history and is shocking the numbers of burials there.
