But sometimes, you do not the have the enough talent to do it, however you possess passion and sometimes is enough to give a decent product. In this case is different, because there are passion and talent involved and that combination it is brutal.

I love how completely accepting they are. They don’t think he’s crazy. They don’t make fun of him. They don’t react with negativity or demand proof. Their reaction is beyond belief and disbelief, and is just acceptance and inspired enthusiasm. I want a group of friends like this.

I really love how Dalí and his friends welcomed Gil Pender. They believed in his thoughts, his reports and his personality. They made him feel special. These are golden friends.

Definitely. Friends who are positive, anything you say they try and understand, i had a friend and we wrote movie scripts and it was so fun coming up with how the opening shot would be and the characters, we never got to make the movie but he ended up on the set of the walking dead he was a zombie so 🤷‍♂️

How refreshing and wholesome. People gathered at a table actually listening and paying genuine attention to the conversation. No one looking down at their phones. I’d rather have people on a creative streak (like Dali) going off about a Rhinoceros while bouncing back and forth to my issue. Far more charming… lol

Woody Allen tried to do the same with the other film From Italy, with Love and it was just a flop.

How beautifully Woody Allan has written this movie, line by line, he wrote dialogues for the number of biggest characters of 20th century in this movie, and all fantastic, then he brought them to life by image, produced a master work, a great dedication to Paris!

This film is on my top 10 favorite movies. Who else found themselves searching online for how well the characters "matched" actual people, ie Gertrude,Stein, Hemingway, Dali, Zelda Fitzgerald, Djuna... and the detective was so funny too. Dialogue was so fun!

Since I was a kid, I BELIEVED that Adrien Brody is spanish. Then I learned that he had no connection to Spain or whatsoever, so then I started to think why I was so convinced that he is spanish. Then I realized because he reminds me of Salvador Dalí. So when I saw this movie for the first time, I almost died. So now I feel like I can die in peace, knowing I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO SEES IT

I love this movie and the dialogue in it. But I'm also bad at math so tell me if I'm wrong, but when he says he comes from the "2000th Millennium," isn't that like saying he comes from the year 2,000,000? Shouldn't he have said, "I come from the second millennium?"
