Kinda saddens me to watch this. It looks like they really put their heart into this. At least that's how it began. And then what happened? It really started promising. I can't blame the character designers. I like the characters. The concepts look great. It started as great. The 7 day Unreal Engine test looks amazing! And then everything fell apart. Went into a really bad direction. The game had lots of potential. And seeing how Inafune treated the things it blows my mind how he approved many things which we see in the final product. Sigh... I'm not even sure Inafune is to blame... But no question, the final product is not what we were waiting for.

This is great. I clicked on this video because someone played a bit of the music during the pause in a livestream(I think it was) and I had no idea what Mighty No.9 was. This looks great. I loved the Megaman NES games, I might have loved the SNES games, but I never got to play them. My favourite was always Megaman 2 although I really hated those instant death lasers on Quickman's Level.

So you guys worked your butts off and recorded a great documentary and Comcept will just never let you post it so we could find out what's going on behind the scenes, I guess. Even though we, as backers, PAID FOR THIS. I really hope sometime in the future, you guys will just drop whatever was recorded and let people know the real truth. This game's development was a disaster, and people have the right to know about it.

So, where are the final two episodes that we're promised? Is it going to take as long as MN9's notoriously delayed physical rewards?
@orangejjay
@orangejjay 2 года назад
It was a scam the entire time. Over-promised, over-hyped bullshit by a bunch of people who had no business pretending to be the experts that they were. They may have been great in their respective fields but to take that to something larger was an immense stroke of ego that resulted in failure.

I always love hearing Inafune-san talk about games, you can tell he has a genuine passion for what he does. It's just so uplifting in an industry where, in recent years, the people in said industry and even the fanbases surrounding it have become overly cynical and have lost focus on what makes the best and most remembered games so great to begin with: true heart. With that said, can't wait to see how Mighty No. 9 turns out and I'm proud to be a backer of it.

Not gonna lie. Every video has been a tearjerker. I might have have my qualms with certain aspects of the Kickstarter but Mega Man games have been a huge part of who I am and I want this generation to have that same experience I did when I first played Rockman X. I respect Inafune for his attitude towards good game design philosophy. I just hope that people outside the backer community will purchase the product. Most developers outside the indie community are always worrying about sales, so that can sometimes impact the game's design in a negative way. However, I hope Inafune can turn the Mighty series into a mainstream success like MegaMan by appealing to today's current gamers(despite them being less old school).

on the other video with the disabled comments (episode 1 )they are celebrating it a couple of minutes into the video like theyve made a successful game with champagne and konfetti, i dont know if i should cry or laugh at the backers of this game, theyve literally been conned with the amounf of money they splashed for this project. 3 reviews in so far aswell and all 3 scores in the region of a 5/10 and 6/10. Inafune is a has been and they took advantage of the nostalgic MM fans, MM fans didnt deserve to be treated like this. MM 2 is my first game ever played and its dissapointing to see these disgusting conartists deliver a crap product like this for those that put so much effort and money into the project, disgusting just disgusting.

The reviews are biased reviews. If this game came out like 1 year after the kickstarter campaign it would be a 7 or 8 score but this game was never going to get a 9 or 10. I'm a day 1 backer and I have too admit that too many mistakes from their part damaged this game reputation too much but the biggest mistake were the graphics. The concept art looked so good... so good but they came out with this "PSP like graphics" and a lot of people didn't like it.
