This match was incredible for the home town crowd. I will say that everyone LOVES Mr. Lupkes at the Mike Gould Classic and enjoys seeing him but he is in the house of Mike Gould. The crowd was insane and it blew up once Mike took match one and carried through the entire event. I was doing the announcing and was only feet away from the table, which was awesome but that crowd... most excited I've ever seen

It looks odd to me that Lupkes has a superior position in the first match, is driving towards the pad, slows down and then seems to completely stop trying for the pad, gives a huge distance to Mike way past center and then understandably can't bring it back from there. What I don't get is why he would let Mike have that much after being so close himself. He also seems to be in a position to pull off a top-roll but doesn't go for it. It's too bad really, I love Lupkes. He's got enough power to smash 99.99% of the pullers on the planet, but seems to lack that last bit of technique to clinch it.
