I started solo, got a training partner, then another lol. I described the HIT method and they were interested. Having negatives fail is intense and awesome to feel, not to mention the growth. Thanks to HDC and Mike Mentzer I've been going for a solid year now. 💪👍

Its hard to get a training partner, even in the military they were to inconsistent, i just do what i can do on my own

My set is like * 6-8 positive reps with 2 up - 2 hold - 4 down seconds * 2-4 Negetive reps with help of partner * I use 5-10 second rest pause for only deadlift. * I do partial reps and rest pause only if partner is not available or you cannot use a partner for negative rep.

I do rest pause and it was the single most intense technique I ever did. It works, and you grow in strength and hypertrophy.

How would you go about progressive over-loading using these techniques?

you just go as hard as you can each time, so there isn't a NEED for progressive overload, per see. just go as hard as you absolutely can. you will progress slowly as far as the weights.

How long does it take? Only compound movements or isolation too? Stretch marks might be from getting fat 😂

The best stimulus for single set is, concentric failure, followed by 2 forced reps with 5 count negative, finish this set with a static contraction for as long as possible in the strongest range of motion. Rest / Pause is perfect for training without a partner or spotter that can help you with forced reps. The use of this super intense training should be cycled when progress stops.

I just finished a shoulders & arms workout applying the omni-contraction part, and partly infitonic part as well, though without a training partner (they're afraid of the intensity) And I've missed this kind of intensity on my workouts, will definitely keep doing this.
