@@TheScottmanwhat about Silva lol? This will be his second 47+ year old fight, then you’ve got Ben askren who was a wrestler in mma with compilations of how atrocious his striking was long before he fought jake lol, so no there is a big difference in professional boxers padding their records against other “pro” boxers who have 10-52 records and are full time cab drivers and Jake Paul padding his record against 40+ year old dinosaurs who haven’t boxed a day in their entire lives. The Tommy fury fight made sense because they both have padded records, their both young, both already had name value as well but Tyson, Diaz, Silva, and askren are just atrocious fights dude.
@@yamiyomizuki yeah I find it confusing how "beyond casual" fans lack the understanding to know it only takes one punch, every professional boxer says it in just about every interview for the last 30 years but I guess I can see how you could forget that. Jakes lack of skill doesn't even things out but it certainly helps a lot. Also I work with a guy who is 85 and does the same work I do, I am a supervisor of a tree nursery. He's not as fast as me physically, but his knowledge and experienve give him atleast a 20% boost. I'm 41. It's a very physical job outdoors year round. Yeah Mikes old, but he's been in great physical condition the majority of his life. Now he uses all of the new fancy technologies to heal faster. I think the more important question is, is it even going to be a real unscripted fight without clauses of what can and can't happen? You put Mike Tyson in a back alley fight with Jake Paul right now, I'm putting my money on Tyson. No, Mike Tyson cannot successfully win a split decision after 8 rounds against Jake Paul. But he very well could knock him out coming out of the gate. Personally I think this fight is supposed to be Jake's "Big Upset Loss" keep in mind Jake is a businessman first and foremost, he's looking past Tyson not at Tyson. Combine that with the WWEesque press hype surrounding boxing these days, who the F knows whats actually going on. Jake is a snake. I don't want to see Uncle Mike Tarnish his crazy legacy, but there is a chance it could put a big shiny pin on the end of his career. Lenox said in an interview he hopes Mikes saves a little of Jake for him. I would be happier with Jake's career if he called it what it was, professional exhibitionist...Like Butter Bean. Jake should just fight all the old retired champions, make a thing of it. Also I seem to be the only one that has noticed all of Jake's knockouts are nearly identicle, and the opponent for no reason at all drops his hand right before the punch. Just saying, check it out in slow motion. The most obvious is Andre August. His guard is up, Jake winds up, Andre drops his gaurd. What professional boxer drops there guard when they know a punch is headed thier way? There is literally enough time to see there is a punch coming and to be ready for it, instead he drops his guard and turns his face away from the punch. Then dropped like a sack of potatoes. I find it odd that Jake drops more sacks of potatoes than anyone. The last fighter I saw drop that hard was Ngannou and that was after already taking a couple big hits. Then you have the oil rig guy, he didn't even fight, just ran to the corner and bent over, ref called it. WTF? Again what kind of Pro Boxer is that? It doesn't matter if Mike Tyson can knock out Jake Paul or not, he has to. Also like I said, I think Tyson winning would be a good business move for Jake.
The training videos of Tyson look alright (nothing close to his prime) *BUT* that's like 10 seconds at a time. There's no way a 57-year-old can move like that for 16 minutes.
@@Robert399 oh there's no way Tyson can go the distance, he had problems doing that in his prime. the question is weather he can manage an early knockout, which I would say is a genuine possibility. the thing is that jake paul isn't skilled enough to keep the fight going for the full time without taking serious hits and Tyson clearly hasn't lost his power. so the real question is who can get a knockout first.
I like Perry a lot. Unfortunately Paul probably KOs him. His team strategically picks these opponents. Guys with no head movement that are there to be hit.
Venom page couldn't ko him with bare hands. Boxing is alot different but mike perry is no joke and jake should get massive respect if he kos that savage
@maxashelford4747 jake will be more on fight night for sure. But he will have to cut down to whatever weight is agreed upon for weight in.That happens alllll the time in fighting. He fought mvp at 185
Mike Perry is going in blind as bat , but he’s going to impose his will and show some good old fashion nitty gritty boxing with them big meaty hooks - Lucas Tracy.. probably
“He’s not a good boxer” “he puts all of his money into boxing, he has great boxing fundamentals, he has good punching power.” I get what your trying to say but it’s just kinda funny lol
People need to start taking Jake seriously if they wanna see him lose or they will keep matching him up with tomato cans and geriatrics or people half his size
I think you are overrating Jake Paul's punching power. It is much harder to ko someone when they are wearing headgear and you barely have experience. When Jake Paul fights guys his size and age(Tommy Fury), his punching power does not look as devasting. Tommy has terrible defense and ate Jake's best punches(He got a knockdown against Tommy but that was more due to Tommy not having his base under him) If you look at the guys Jake Paul has ko'd or knocked down, they have all been old, trash at boxing, or undersized. Jake Paul's punching power is prob about avg for a guy his size.
Tommy was constantly on his bike fainting and moving which made it difficult for jake to sit down on any punches, he certainly has real steroid power but he's just not a high level boxer and couldn't be as effective against someone like Fury
@@JerfferyGonzales Ehhh not really. If you rewatch the fight you will see Tommy litterally walk into overhands and eat it several times. He gets wobbled once at best. Tommy even gets hit serveal times as Jake counters his jab with a lead hook. If Jake had such devasting power Tommy would not be able to survive while having extremely poor defense
About average for a Boxer his size. Which compared to a 58 year old(yes even Tyson) or a BKB boxer that's way smaller like Mike Perry is very dangerous. Woodley and Askren where UFC Veterans. Not boxers but at the very least they know how to take a punch. He also dropped Fury, which was done on power alone cause Fury had a Big edge on Jake on experience and training. His last 2 KOs were boxers. Granted,it was Journeymen boxers (and old ones at that) but still boxers.
@Bjjboxing I don't think Jake was really able to sit down the same way on his punches because of the problems Tommy was giving him, but point is, I don't think anyone is claiming Jake Paul has Wilder level power just that he went from pillow hands to 1 punch ko power in a very short amount of time which allowed him to beat old mma fighters. I just think the Fury fight proves how low level Jake really is compared to actual boxers
@@JerfferyGonzales Wdym by sit down on his punches? He litterally throws overhand rights with his entire body lmaoo and Tommy ate it many times. Jake legit caught Tommy with sereval lead hooks off Tommy's jab clean. Rewatch the fight and you will see it. Tommy will legit fall into punches Jake set up Ben to ko him by jabbing to the body and swinging a overhand right with his entire body. Ben does not know how to box so he does not know how to properly see obvious patterns. The video is stating that Jake has devastating power. But he does not have crazy power for someone his size. He is just avg
The punching power genetics is kinda misinformation it’s more about base, technique look at people like Tyson and dekkers is technique speed and their base. Genetics plays a factor but it can be trained and improved you can beef up and recruit fast twitch and improve technique
Why is everyone worried about Mike? Last I heard, he'd still destroy Jake at his ripe old age. Oh wait, is this week's narrative "Mike's too old"? I guess I'll wait til next week for people to start glazing Mike again. People, he cannot be simultaneously too strong AND too old for Jake.
That’s wrong Mike Tyson is 58 so he can be incredibly strong and fast for a 58 year old but Jake should be in his prime years that isn’t the same thing They’re on two different planets Mike is one of the best boxers of all time but you can’t beat Father Time
Jake Paul isn’t that good of a boxer but neither is Mike Perry he style is to take as much damage and dish it out. With the gloves I don’t think he will get the ko especially against a bigger guy, Perry isn’t really mobile
I think you're tripping. This is a mma math scenario where youre just wrong mike perry has fought WAAAAAAY higher quality competition and destroyed them all. I dont think youtube boxer paul is gonna be at the level of eddie alvarez for example
I doubt it perry is a literal can lmao he flunked out of the ufc as sad as it is jake is just too good at sniffing out out of their prime or overall bad fighters
Mike Perry was already the nuclear option for Logan paul vs Danis falling out. Jake? Smh bruh I’m tryna see Logan lose smh. He’s legit Bradly Martin tier
lol Mike Perry is just a punch sponge, it'll be a longer than usual Jake Paul fight, but nothing more then him beating on someone who is rusty, aged, or under skilled. A time filler.
If he is gonna brag against mma dudes, he should fight Darren Till. Younger than his other opponents but not the best in the cardio department. But I do believe till could sleep him. And Jake is more likely to take the fight because not a lot of people know him.
Dude, I'd fight Jake. Is there some identifiable brainrot that can be traced to taking Disneyboy seriously? Or is your career in commentary just automatically done if you even hint at payola and dives?
People complain Jake Paul fighting old dudes. But most of Perry's recent fights have been against old retired fighters too and people talk like he is some badass. I think Jake beats him by decision
Idk I mean 37 year old Alvarez and 37 year old rockhold are definetly more competent opponents than 47 year old Anderson Silva and 40 year old Nate Diaz.
Che is tripping on his steroid power argument. How come you argue that steroids can only give you an incremental improvements and ultimately it depends on genetics but then say Jake Paul gained impressive power via steroids
i would prefer to see you talking than a lot of these background clips just replayed like what lucas tracy does. The background clips are nice but i think there needs to be more of a balance.
Jake Paul 100% beats both Mike Tyson and Mike Perry in my opinion. He's got so much over Mike Tyson it's not even funny and he's a better boxer than Mike Perry
Mike and Roy Jones were told they couldn't throw head shots in that fight so he was adjusting to that and he didn't look that bad Mike can KO Jake you need to stop Jake is not a good boxer 🤣☠️
