These are old "Feldschuhe schwer" which means heavy combat boots. This typ was in service until the 90's. The best quality boots ever made, but also heavy 😅 In the leather musst be HBA what stand for "Heeresbekleidungsanstalt" and the manufacturing year. Most of them are from the 70's. In midde 80's the changed the design. Best regards from Austria 😁
Got a pair I think are these about 10 years ago, look exactly the same, I'm with Devin, always wear boots, have hundreds of pairs, these were good in my restoration shop, protective and good looking, was lucky at the time to get around 11 1/2 size.
@@DevinK nice I've been looking for some ones like this that aren't pricing me out for awhile, I'm guessing go with regular foot size, 40 I guess since I don't wear extra socks.
Very nice found 2 new niche gear dudes to follow some bad ass boots and all because I thought the finnish wwii helmets were actually Stahlhelms. I got learnt. I was also confused about sizing before the video so thanks for that 40 sounds huge.
@@MikeB128 haha I guessed! This camouflage brings back good memories 😀 I used to wear it when I was the Army Cadet Force, around 10 years ago. I've still some at home, although I doubt it fits me anymore. I was also trying to join the army around the same time they were replacing this with MTP.
@@MikeB128 bloody hell! It's a small world we live in. I have see some cadets still wearing DPM, alongside MTP. The army donates old kit to the cadets. I remember when I first joined, I was given the old webbing that was use for the SLR.

I'm European and finding the equivalent size in American or English is a nightmare specially when everything says a different thing 😂 like for example I've seen US Size being a 42 and also it being a 41'5
