Imagine how proud Cus would've been if he saw who Mike has become. A student of the game and a Teacher of the art. Grateful to witness greatness unfold right infront of my eyes.
Honestly if you really think about it. Look at everything that has occurred between Cus and Mike, to Mike losing cus, going thru everything until where he is nowadays. It's one of the most amazing stories ever.
@@benmcreynolds8581 And on top of that nurturing another one of the most amazing stories ever emerging in Francis. Everything is indeed coming full circle.
@@matthewfreeman33 that's the point. It's the fact that Mike has gone thru a life that would have destroyed most people, yet he found a way to make it through all of the worst aspects of himself and get to the place where he is today. It's not a perfect fairy tale story. It's a real story. A raw, difficult story mixed with a ton of emotions & feelings but to see the person Mike has become today is really inspiring.
Mike Tyson is the Rocky Balboa in real life! A broke man who became a fighter, a fighter who became a champion, a champion who became a legend, the legend who became the coach of a man who had similar beginnings....just think about it...

UFC Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou 6' 4" 260-lbs with 83" reach paid a visit to UFC Performance Institute where he created the World record for the hardest punch ever measured. Ngannou recorded a punch of 129,161 units on a PowerKube, which measures the power of a punch based on a variety of different factors, including force, speed and accuracy. Ngannou produced 93hp which is equivalent to a small family car. People all around the World try to break his record that's stood for 5 years. He produced 51,064 ft. lbs/sec which is equivalent to 92.84hp... Ngannou set that record in 2017 and nobody has surpassed him yet -@ 'New world record for the HARDEST punch - Francis Ngannou - AFC'
Teddy Atlas gave Fury Rounds 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 9, and 10. He scored Round 3 10-8 for Ngannou, and the only other round he gave him was Round 8. It was Round 7 that Atlas struggled to score, finally deciding on a 10-10 draw. Atlas’ overall tally favored Fury for being the busier fighter.
Legendary boxing trainer Teddy Atlas doesn’t see any controversy in Tyson Fury’s win over Francis Ngannou. Ngannou took WBC champion Fury to a split decision in their crossover boxing match this past Saturday in Saudi Arabia, an outcome he disagrees with. The former UFC heavyweight champion knocked down Fury in Round 3 and stood toe to toe with him for all 10 rounds. Atlas gave Fury Rounds 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 9, and 10. He scored Round 3 10-8 for Ngannou, and the only other round he gave him was Round 8. It was Round 7 that Atlas struggled to score, finally deciding on a 10-10 draw. Atlas’ overall tally favored Fury for being the busier fighter. “My final score: 97-93 for Mr. Fury,” Atlas said on his show, “THE FIGHT with Teddy Atlas.” “And like I said in my comments, lots of posturing, feinting, half jabs, lot of looking, could have been more even rounds possibly, but I know it’s an honest one, because I’m saying what I believe.” Fury insisted that he did not underestimate Ngannou, but many observers believed he looked off. Atlas views the fight as an upset because Ngannou pulled off the unexpected, but he thinks Fury didn’t take him entirely seriously. “Physically he did; he was in good shape,” Atlas said. “Good enough shape. But mentally he didn’t. He didn’t. I’m going to put my bottom dollar, and he won’t make an excuse. I give him credit for that. And I’m not making an excuse. Ngannou deserves every bit of credit, but there’s no doubt in my mind that Tyson Fury was compromised in a way that, as a human being, that he too thought it was going to be a fun thing, a money grab. “It was going to be where he does what he wants. He wants to end it; he ends it. He wants to play, he wants to do an Ali shuffle, whatever he wants to do, he could do it. There was going to be nothing to worry about. … You can’t say it’s going to be an easy day because you’re going to get screwed."
Listen at 5:20. This is where the UFC could not see the vision of Francis. Some people have a vision to become great, and it's that vision that makes them into a huge star. I knew years ago when the UFC were not treating Francis right that they were making a huge mistake.
I think Tyson should continue training him i honestly believe if he does continue training him Frances will win a heavy weight belt at some point. And the fack that mike train him is just so cool to witness..
Only a small number of people believe Ngannou can survive against Fury, but now the world of heavyweight boxing has been shaken by the presence of Ngannou at the hands of Mike Tyson
I had a feeling there was no way he was gonna get worked by fury the whole fight I saw everyone just saying that he was gonna get tko in 3 but damn that was amazing
If there would've been title on the line, I think it would've been totally different match. Ngannou really have to grind if he wants to shake boxing world.
agreed... I didn't have Ngannou winning.... but it was an absolutely amazing performance.... and if Ngannou sticks with boxing, and does 2 other fights or so, before fighting Fury again, Fury is in trouble.... needs to jab more and get his fitness up for 12 rounds
I look at Tyson fury very highly when it comes to boxing. I thought he was going to win. But when I saw a poll of fury v francis, somehow i felt like i should vote for francis, and i did.
Mike Tyson: "Tyson Fury's in a tougher fight than he believes." Prophetic words! Floored in the third round and scraped a narrow victory by split decision.
It seems like Francis learns very quickly and his quiet, humble and observant nature definitely helped him pick up everything Mike had to offer him. What a perfect combo. Incredibly impressed by the coaching from Mike.
I honestly think Francis’s story even with the outcome makes it that much more interesting and intriguing. It’s almost as if you believe in fate and destiny, Mike a retired champion and legend going into the later years of his life questioning whether training other fighters and becoming the “rocky” figure has indeed found a younger fighter with a similar upbringing who fought all his life to get to this moment. Mike definitely sees the potential and it’s bringing back out that youthful spirit in him and I think it’s genuinely making him happy and at peace. Purposefully wanting Francis to achieve the goal he’s setting out for… This is indeed amazing to watch.

Francis "The Predator" Ngannou is just that damn good. Fury himself stated that he trained well and he did not underestimate him. Usyk gonna get whooped with ease. "Ngannou has 15 years boxing experience. This was not his debut fight. He's not a novice. Ngannou is a seasoned fighter." --Teddy Atlas
Thank you Mike. You shocked the world again by playing a part in what we witnessed today. Francis showed technique and discipline throughout the fight.
Francis is so right. Nobody understands how profound and crisp Uncle Mike's technic is. People can't really enjoy him as much, unless they understand how smart this Legend is. The knowledge of the bodies anatomy, to generate power, speed, and accuracy. The most complete style came out on top again. Boxing judges should be ashamed, since they destroyed their own legacy.
*technique Sorry, I just had too cuz of ADD. Theres just now way I would get thru my day without pointing that out. lmao. I totally agree with your points too.
You can see how much of an impact mikes training had on Francis , the way he controlled the ring the whole fight exactly like mikes taught him to do , amazing to see
dude, that is thanks to ngannous trainer, dewey cooper, that was all dewey cooper. look the saudis payed mike 8 mil to act as francis trainer. a publicity stunt and a good one.
Im shocked at how fast ngannou learns. The foot movement and head movement was impressive. So not only does he have those monster genetics and killer power but he also learns and has great instincts. Unbelievable. Once in a generation type athlete
@@Azubjourniyou are a clown. 1/2 an hour? This man has been training almost his whole life for this moment . Please use your brain to see the bigger picture. You have such a small mind.
Was thinking the same. When I boxed my coach told me: "Think of the hand as a bullet - fire and accelerate, don't force and benchpress. A hit starts with the calves, moving through ham/quads, rotation of obliques, the pecs and the triceps. A chain rection where you fire every muscles with milliseconds apart. Dont wrestle, pull the trigger.". This was in 1986.

Mike, you deserve a round of applause. You took a great MMA fighter, and turned him into a serious contender against the best heavyweight champion today. This is the only time MMA beat boxing at it's own game. Congratulations to you and Ngannou.
@@zenmachine50Not half decent lol. He literally dominated the whole fight. His chin is made of vibranium. And those MMA fighters who looked Pathetic were retired MMA fighters.
And why is this not a freaking movie!? This is one of the most inspiring things I've ever seen. The fact that one of the greatest heavyweight boxers of all time is passing down the knowledge that was given to him by one of the greatest trainers of all time is just poetic.

Holy shit that last quote, "When you're favored by God, you're also favored by the Devil. He's coming for you too. You gotta be strong and be on the right side. Which side you gonna go on he's gonna give you power too. You stay with who brought you here. Go home with the guy that brought you to the dance." That's wisdom right there. Gonna stick with me for a long time.
Powerful statement and a truth as well. I also think it reflects Mike's regret at switching his representation to Don King years ago and away from the people who truly cared for him.
Watching Mike impart his incredible wealth of knowledge is amazing. This is a masterclass. Mike is by far the smallest guy in there, not to mention the oldest, yet he still looks the most dangerous, still inspiring fear. Truly one of a kind.
The lessons Mike was teaching Francis about the short distance punching was invaluable, the punch not seen is the most dangerous punch, the punch he put Fury down with was a short punch.
@HellBlazerMNE07 what he means is that fury didn't see it coming, it caught him off guard cos he didn't expect it at all, therefore a punch that's not seen being the most dangerous
It seems like Francis learns very quickly and his quiet, humble and observant nature definitely helped him pick up everything Mike had to offer him. What a perfect combo. Incredibly impressed by the coaching from Mike.

his grappling and ground game against Gane showed us all how fast he can adapt going from virtually no grappling experience to out grappling one of the most technical in that category is pretty phenomenal then to switch to boxing and outclass the champion of the sport he literally did the impossible but this fight isn’t going to be talked about enough in the next coming years guarantee it . They’ll do a good job of sweeping the heavyweight champions poor performance under the rug
Mike's intensity and love for boxing is truly amazing. He was literally dripping in sweat while training Francis. Fully dedicated his life to the craft.
Exactly, at some points it looked like Mike wanted to push Francis out of the way to knock out the Padman. I saw clips where he tried to knock them out and you can see in this vid they don't want to stand in front of Mike for too long and I don't blame them he is foaming at the mouth and sweating buckets just watching and that is a sign of his deep love of the sport. I hope Mike goes on to be a trainer and Francis story fits the script.
I'm from Brazil and I don't post comments by any means at all. But Mike Tyson deserves it. Mike, you probally won't read this, but you´re BY FAR one of the most incredible and genuine persons that God put on this earth. I felt like ngannou receive a lot of your mindset and your strong fight instinct and spirit. From one of the greatest boxers in History, you´re now on the path to be one of the greatest coaches. Thanks man. You're a inspiration to us all.
Mike has come along way since his dark times, his evolvement into the wise teacher that he is now along his journey of self discovery is even more inspiring than his boxing days, he has a unique mind and it’s great to see him use everything he’s good at into helping others, there won’t be another like him
You’ll probably never read this, but what you achieved with Francis is actually unbelievable. Cus made you a champion, but maybe he taught you how to make champions.
“When you’re favoured by God, your also favoured by the devil. Go home with the guy that brought you to the dance.” Powerful words by Mike, I love it. That was a real life Rocky moment
He learned from the best and clearly wants to pass those teachings further! God Bless Mike! Beautiful to see him become a teacher, dedicate for younger generation - that's true meaning of life.
Literally would’ve paid to watch this video at the movies. One of the greatest show casing both Francis story and talent and Tyson’s coaching methodology. Amazing work 🔥
Mike is a secret weapon. People can think Mike is off the grid if they want. He’s far from it. Love this story. You are truly a blessing Mike. You were born for such a time as this, to help others achieve champion status. 100%. God bless you!

That look of passion in Mike's eyes during the trainings is just something beautiful to watch. Knowing he himself had to overcome his darkest demons once he stepped foot into the ring, you just love to see Iron Mike embracing his role as a coach. A true legend of the sport and an inspiration for a whole lot of generations...
I think he feels like he is trying to do something that cuz couldn't completely finish. It's probably super satisfying for him to pass it on to the next guy. it could be at this very moment in his life he realized why cuz _did it_
Wow... both of you, @MrNabura and @allshop2692... spoke such true, absolutely fitting and clear words... that I'm at a loss for words! When I thought about your words for a little longer, they touched me so much... that tears came to my eyes... wow, much respect and love from Germany
It's absolutely insane how fast and well Mike was able to improve Francis's striking. To go from that Rozenstruik fight to how he fought Fury is almost like a hero movie training montage.
He made a massive mistake. He should of got some ring time .. gone up the ranks. Improve any skill. And I believe he could become a world champion. Just need more ring time. It's not UFC...this is a more skilled sport.
Man you did a remarkable job, you turned an MMA fighter into a legitimate boxer in less than a year, that's nuts, you really are the Goat Mike I don't care what anyone says
Thats so inspiring, ngannou started mma late amd look at him now..that's so awesome to see as a boxer myself. In 4 months he almost beat the greatest heavyweight boxer of this generation. This just proves that anything is possible with hard work and consistency.
Francis Ngannou clearly won. As a fan from India, I am utterly disappointed by the Judges decision😢. We love you Iron Mike❣️. We love you and Francis✌️❣️
Watching Francis is like watching mike Tyson when he was younger. His hunger is unbelievable if this was a film I would definitely definitely watch AMAZING just AMAZING..
I would be interested in a biopic about Francis, man went through a lot to get to where he is today, his story is truly something that should be shared, would inspire a lot of people knowing the adversity he passed through. Truly a incredible human being and inspiring
Mike - what a Legend ! I've been watching you all my life. U've changed, and so have I. Without you, the world would be a sad place. Good to see you, warrior. You changed my life for better. Respect. May peace and health be with you champ 👊
@@johnnyc0811I hope they don’t take this video down. It’s literally a masterclass. You could clip out every single combo and mikes advice and you could build up a solid foundation as a boxer
This is unreal...It's not just the techniques Mike taught Francis, it's the mindset, and the belief, and the will to win he instilled in Francis early on that allowed such an exponential growth in skill from him. The man is an absolute genius when it comes to combat, he is a master of the art of war.

@@R.G.777.It's not only about Fury. How does little midget man Usyk beat 290lb Big Bang Zhang or 260lb Makhmudov or 275lb Ngannou? Little low-power Usyk is not capable of cleaning out the division!

I gotta give the fight to Ngannou, and I'm a Fury fan as well as a lifelong boxing fan. Ngannou is the lineal HW boxing champ in the eyes of many now. This SHOULD be the most exciting era for heavyweight boxing in a long time, but instead it's being squandered by bitter boxing elitists/purists that can't wrap their head around what they witnessed last night. The padded records in boxing must go, and boxing judges need realize how they're SUPPOSED to score rounds, which is not solely the number of punches and damageless jabs landed. Especially at heavyweight. What a showing, a testament to fundamentals and hard work. Mike still has the crisp technique and power of a man half his age but I hope he continues with training which he obviously has the aptitude for. It's not always easy to translate being a master of something into teaching that mastery to a novice but old Iron Mike definitely has it. Francis dominated in the clinch, nullified Fury's dirty tricks inside including an elbow and attempted headbutt(Ironic that it was Fury trying all the silly more-MMA-than-boxing nonsense and Francis was the one that fought clean the whole fight). Francis dictated the pace, controlled the center of the ring, imposed his style of boxing which was patient and surprisingly precise with good counters mixed in. Francis had shockingly good timing, endurance, and defense. Knocked the lineal champ on his ass in his first pro fight and did significantly more damage which was obvious when you look at their faces. Ngannou did an interview today and looks completely unscathed. Fury is still rubbing on that mouse and icing his face today in hiding while he counts his stack of millions. Fury was forced outside and scored a handful more jabs that did no damage at all, this is really the only argument that Fury won in my eyes. At no point was Francis rocked nor did he ever lose his composure. I can't say the same for Fury. All the boxing fans that didn't give Ngannou a snowball's chance in hell owe him and Iron Mike an enormous apology. We all know what would happen if Fury got in the octagon, but this wasn't like that. This was a hell of a boxing match and wasn't one-sided at all. Just amazing to witness. Love boxing. Love MMA. Love combat sports. Especially class-acts like Ngannou and our reformed uncle Mike. EDIT: Fury came out of hiding and did an interview, fair play to him. Looked even worse than I thought though LOL
To the contrary, I think the judges' decision is right and also the best thing that could have happened to Francis. A challenger to a title should never be able to win by a close margin. Champs have off days and losing their title in a close fight mars the integrity of the sport in many ways. A challenger should win the fight CONVINCINGLY and ideally by knockout. Francis did not do that unfortunately. Both will come better prepared for a rematch...and this would be the fight to see. The fight of the decade.
And Mike Tyson is the real movie version of a legend who was never really a teacher who took on this “Rocky” figure under hes wings and makes him fly while the legend himself gets wholesome of being apart of it. It’s really nice to see
Everything Mike said in this video we saw in the ring. Francis moved a lot, punched better, had better head movement. This is a trainer's dream, to see his hard work pay off.
Shout out, Mike Tyson. Even at this age, you can see when he hits the pads, how different he is. To all you young boys. That's a Grandpa that Will knock you the f out.
This is one of the best things I’ve seen in a long time. Francis is such an inspiring person. I’ve followed his journey for years, hopefully now millions more will follow him.
Mike Tyson says around 4:50 that Francis is 6'7".... I think True Geordie said he met Ngannou and Francis is about 6'6".... Also, what the heck is with the crazy training of Mike Tyson being so much harder than MMA training? He says around 49:00 that their workout was "just warming up for a regular fighter." So would Ngannou need to lose 30 pounds of muscle to train the full cardio of a 12 round boxer? I think so.

Usyk fans won't follow him, that's for sure. All across the net they're hating Fury everywhere. But for some unknown reason Usyk fans have nothing to say over here. That's bcz they're terrified of Ngannou. They know Francis would be to much for little low-power Usyk.
"When you're favoured by God, you're also favoured by the devil, he's coming for you too. You just got to be strong and stay on the right side. Whose side you gonna go on? What an honor it is to watch Mike Tyson training. Incredible to see someone I used to watch with my father. If he were living today he would've loved watching this.
Francis was already a Champion in life so him winning in UFC and proving haters wrong in boxing is nothing short of what this guy does!!! True African King. Thank you Mike!
That was freaking incredible!!!!! Hell, the wisdom was so incredibly well placed and presented ! If people see this side of boxing !!! This presentation of boxing, It would be game changing for boxing , huge, just huge.
Im a huge fan of Mike Tyson, Ngannu and Fury. This documentary is amazing, Mike is still very scary. That footwork is hard wired into muscle memory. What a humble man Francis is. What an amazing moment in time to be alive.

Teddy Atlas said on his latest podcast "we all know mike didn't really train Ngannou, he's just there for the press"... Teddy, you OWE Mike a MASSIVE apology, he shaped a Champion, recognise that, because the WORLD does, and anyone refusing to see it is blinded by their own hatred. Absolutely phenomenal work Mike, truely one in a world of billions.
Mike didn’t train ngannou, he did like 2 days with him and was genuinely there for the press haha all the coaches spoke about the training camp and Mike wasn’t mentioned once.
The most beautiful & heartwarming part of this documentary is that Mike is Showering Encouraging words to Francis just like Cus used to do with Mike during Mike's early years under Cus's tutelage. Amazing story of a Troubled kid who found a legendary mentor who turned the Troubled teen into a warrior & a Champion but the Trouble never left the boy even when being a champion & after surviving numerous challenges in life, the Troubled Warrior found peace & now helps other Warriors in need & shows them the Path to peace through Purpose & now is on the the path to becoming a legendary Mentor himself.🔥🔥
Right?? 4 months is what Francis had. Imagine the rematch! Cannot wait. I hope Mike stays coaching Ngannou. Cus' teachings being preserved and taught by his best student and recorded for us is a true blessing! This video is iconic and historic, I only hope they do more of them!
It was crazy to see his change in only a couple sessions. He is an experienced fighter but it isn't easy breaking the fighting habits you've been doing for years.
Another masterpiece from Iron Mike and Team! 5:16 When Billy White says, "Along this journey, Francis is going to become a boxing professional World Champion, mark my words", I got chills because this man has seen it all and you can tell he sees something in Francis that he once saw in Mike. He truly believes it and I truly believe he is right.
Wow, this is an incredible side of iron Mike. He has so much to offer as a coach and watch him really shows a different dimension of Mike to where when you go back and look at his fights you can see things that you never noticed in the past. The leg work and weight shifting is just insane to see in action. Mike is a living legend.
Mike has truly matured into a warrior saint. What an Honor and pleasure to bare witness to this man’s life and journey. Thanks for everything Mike 🙏 love you brother ❤
Lets just take a moment and give respect and flowers to "Produced By: Mike Angel Directed By: Andres Ortiz" They put together an incredible documentary, We feel like we are right there with these gladiators! This was impressive to see Mike on the other side coaching , He was tough but direct and explained the WHY of each technique, great coaching and Francis is just built different , that man is the walking picture of MANIFESTATION... Thank you both for letting us hang out and watch the process!
You hear Mike talk about warriors of the past , gladiators and war mongers you see what he based himself on . He really was a modern day gladiator unbeatable mentally putting fear into the heart of the enemy before he even got in the ring .
Dude this is a making of a monster film. Ngannous natural size, strength and power being hyper focused this way is incredible to watch. Mike seems like such a natural coach too.
Seeing Mike Tyson give himself like this brings tears to my eyes. He’s complete. He’s passing on what he’s learned. He’s honoring Coach Cus’. I hope Ngannou goes best to Big George Foreman. Be the student of all the greats, Champ.

I loved how mike tyson told Francis, this is just the beginning. Thoes who have stepped or try sparing in a ring with someone. Know how hard breathing is hitting someone & moving around at the same time. Its the loneliest sport for a reason. Not many get or have the discipline to do it. Over & over again each day... like if you stuck in a time loop
