@Wolffang listen he's a foot taller than mike... there is just no way mike beats him. He's got the ring iq, head movements, agility, jab and size to outwork mike for the entire fight. The only way he loses is if he looks to knock mike out. He can then walk into mike's powershots. Otherwise, fury can outbox him easily for rounds on end, and win a dominant decision or even a late round ko.
@Wolffang he doesn't stand still though that's the point. He's fought more powerful fighters than mike. And mike has never fought someone 6'9 and as heavy as fury. Holyfield was able to beat him the first time by outworking him in the clinch, due to him being the heavier man. Imagine how much better tyson will be at that.
@Wolffang how can height be a weakness? mike's uppercuts will barely even land from that far down... his body shots wont affect fury in the slightest. there is no chance he'll even get the oppurtunity to land upstairs. and even if he's able to shoot, fury's head movements will take care of the rest. Fury is the worst possible matchup for tyson, aside from Lewis.
@@juantolosaarg5540The 0 of a boxer is overrated, Sugar Ray Robinson or Sugar Ray Leonard would destroy Gervonta and Ryan. 0 doesn't matter if you're avoiding big fights (Like Usyk)
"Active" mike (whatever the hell thats supposed to mean) never even fought with a good opponent. Throughout the entirety of his career, whenever mike faced with a hardship in the ring he folded. Holyfield bullied him like a kid, so did lennox lewis and buster douglas. Fury showed more heart than mike ever did simply by getting up from that wilder punch in their first match.
@@SouthpawsRule217Mike fought tougher opponents and won against most of them, Trevor Berbick, Larry Holmes, Frank Bruno and he fought Gerry Cooney and won, even when Mike wasn’t in his prime. He lost against Buster Douglas due to improper preparation and faulty officiating from the ring referee. He was way out of his prime against Lennox who was younger and had better fitness that Mike Tyson who was at the brink of retirement. The Holyfield fight was stopped before the fourth round thus Mike Tyson never had a real chance to assess the situation. You think Fury nearly hit the ten count against a hook from Wilder just think what an uppercut from Tyson would do plus Mike was known for his body shots and elusiveness. I doubt Mike would be able to knockout Fury but if it goes to unanimous decision it wouldn’t be close. If Mike wasn’t accused of sexually assaulting those women and didn’t face those charges he could’ve been the greatest boxer of all time. Times were harder back then, you think Mike Tyson was wearing a foul protector? Plus Mike Tyson beats Fury in every aspect in terms of durability, Mike Tyson was the definition of durable. Fury wouldn’t be able to jab something that was that low down, not that he would be able to even if they were at level height. Hit and don’t be hit, the founding principles of boxing.
@@juantolosaarg5540just means he hasn’t came against the right opponent. Mayweather was undefeated but he isn’t even close to being the greatest. The only time that theory works is the case of Rocky Marciano. The real greats like Ali, Louis, Robinson, Leonard, Frazier, Johnson, Tunney, Patterson, Mike Tyson, Foreman, Lennox, Calzaghe, Holyfield, Holmes, they lost fights. That’s because they fought against opponents that were of that same caliber. Ali lost to Frazier, Ray Robinson lost to Lamotta, Leonard lost to Duran, Patterson lost to Liston, Louis lost to Marciano, Frazier lost to Foreman. Those who duck the big fights and rematches will never lose, saves their record but weakens their reputation. If Fury was to manage to organise fights against people like Ruiz Jr, Joshua, Usyk, Joyce, Dubois etc plus rematches, he would eventually lose some way or another. Credit where credit is due, Fury is an incredibly skilled boxer and quite agile considering his stature and size but he’s no Top 5.
@@W_L4VA that’s the entire point.. mike Tyson was used to taller opponents, Tyson fury isn’t used to fighting people the height of mike, mike uses the peekaboo style which is perfect for fighting tall fighters.
@Ikhayum bro bro 💀 Tyson fury got knocked out by someone who never box in his life the havey weight world champ lost to a non boxer is insane now imagine Mike Tyson this is not even comparable
@MangoSmoothie No reason for a 50/50. Fury had better reach and that's it but the rest belongs to Tyson and his style helped a lot to overcome reach disadvantage
Mike only fought bums tho who were tall but had legit zero skill. He’s never fought a modern heavyweight like fury who is as skilled, fast and determined

This is precisely why Mike mastered Peek-a-boo style. Its tailor made for short guys to fight tall guys.
