I saw Mike and many others at Sneaky Pete's in Wichita Falls in the early mid 1970's. I loved that place

I saw Mike in concert at Southwest State University in the early spring of 1980. He and about six of us sat up all night drinking down a keg while he taught us how to play snooker on the university billiards table. His music lived on in the dorms for years after he left, and my children know this song by heart.... Live on Free Man Happy Man. Your serendipitous meeting in Marshall, MN continues to live on today.... In Tucson, AZ.

I met Mike at North Texas. We remained friends for years. He was a lot of fun to hang out with.

Saw Mike perform this song at Wooden Nickel Saloon in Wichita Falls in 1978, helluva performer.

Saw him at the Kerrville Music Festival. I bought his albums and cd's while at Kerrville

I have this song, and more from this album on a reel-to-reel tape that a previous owner recorded approximately 1979. The tape I have is in fairly good shape.

I believe the female singer with Mike on this song is Nanci Griffith.

I knew Mike in the 70's, when he used to perform at The Jade Urn Coffee House in Ft. Collins, CO. He was a huge favorite and an iconic presence at a now-mythical albeit short-lived venue in Ft. C. For awhile, he mentored me when I was a budding, but very young and rather lost singer in those days. I can't sing any more and lost track of Mike, but am happy to have found him on You Tube. Mike, if you catch your msgs on RU-vid, how the heck are ya? Hope you're still making music and doing well.

I remember seeing him in 1980 at UWSP ... my first exposure to live folk music. I was 19 years old, I remember him singing a song called "The First Fart of the Morning." I laughed!

Dad personally knew Mike Williams but lost contact with him. Does anyone know a way to contact him or his facebook?
