holy shit, this whole album brings me back to a dark time in my life, i used music to cope and the song you and me is one of the few things that could even make me to shed tears
I was lost when this album came out but it was during a time I knew things would work out. This music gives me hope in a dark world. Dark against dark. Much love homie
“Timeline” was that song that gave me everything I wanted in a song soothing chill kinda sad and head bopping his voice tho instrumental lyrics it’s all phenomenal
All the songs on this album are a retrospective of me in the year 2020 when I lost my girlfriend who got married the same year she left me, the same month I lost my mother, I was unemployed and spending many months alone taking care of my father who is blind, I had symptoms of depression for months and months without any friends coming to visit me and with my ex defaming me to my friends about things that happened because of the effect of depression saying that I had gone crazy and that I was under constant effect of medication that made me therefore not worthy of their trust, so they all left without even coming to ask me if the things that were said were true. I remember leaving the song Timeline on repeat hundreds of times while I could only cry with bad images and words in my head that wouldn't go away even when I slept. It's really bad to remember all that while realizing that the songs are really good, but now they're attached to rotten memories. Today, however listening to these songs I felt a big blur, a big blockage, I felt unable to think good thoughts about people, I started to understand why some older people are so bitter after all
Wow this album brings back so many memories. In 2020 I remember bawling my eyes out listening to this album on repeat for hours trying to block out the sounds of my parents fighting and arguing.
Timeline and Rollercoaster Baby are as necessary for each other as Demon Days and Dont Get Lost in Heaven, in my opinion. The transition isnt as seemless but the latter just feels like a continuation of the previous and I love it.
i’m assuming if you go to stones throw records website and go under mild high club there is a album named “✈️” and it says “Details to be announced on July 27, 2021”
