Miles has a stage presence that is as powerful as his music. Even when he is pausing between notes I can still hear his notes played . He do not waste any notes, he make"s every note count !

En musique les silences sont des notes pondérées, bien vu..ta raison c'est un génie Jamais égalé,et une académie de musiciens.

1:40 wow he was already on to the idea that led to his "doo bop" album that came out almost 10 years later. True testament to how diverse and open minded he was musically. I would argue that he's one of the most versatile and influential musicians of all time. He wasn't just talented creatively but he could see and set trends that span genres and decades.

He was not only trumpeter and musician but a composer and leader with talent to find new people and organize new band all the time. He also must have had some background in studying composers like Stravinsky, Stockhausen and more. I like when he said he does not like word jazz. His thinking was much broader than that.

Classic modern Miles, playing with structure and space for whatever happens.

Miles mindset was it's not what you play , it's what you don't play .Guitarist who learn how to phrase like a horn player are the most pleasing to the ears .Overplaying is detrimental to all musicians .People have to have time to assimilate a passage .

Miles Davis le génie des sonnerités endiablées. L' avant gardiste du jazz moderne dans l'alignée de Charlie Parker, Coltrane et bien d'autres génies jazzy.

Scofield sounding as if Thelo is playing guitar, is a great depiction of his style. Very innovative.

If you watch the video, player names are shown, it is Scofield. He has been unique with his lines and sound. He is kind of the Theolonius Monk on guitar, cool style, great lines.

@@pekkakamari646 I was thinking John McLaughlin at the first few notes of.his solo, but I knew it wasn't, both stylistically, and historically. If you haven't already done so, check out the 'Hudson' album released in 2017. Also some great live captures on RU-vid... a search of 'Hudson Live Scofield ' should do it. Thanks!

Is it bias am I biased because I'm enthralled always by the Coltrane saxophone mastery? Davis seems to have added that Coltrane sound with that saxophonist who's name I'm sorry I missed. Awesome stuff awesome concert indeed.

Miles. Cocky and insecure but always about the music and searching for something larger, newer, different. Only one such cat.
