Not only do I agree with you, but I actually liked this remake more than the original. The cast, small changes to the plot, the music, etc. Also, I think it's crazy that they casted Miles Teller as Willard and the guy who played that role in the original movie (Chris Penn) looks just like him (at least back then). Seriously, the resemblance is unreal.
