Have faith in JESUS CHRIST as LORD and SAVIOR for HE SAVES from hell❗️ *What is the Gospel?* The true gospel is the good news that God saves sinners. I had one on the side of my eye for ages, it was driving me crazy. I tried to squeeze it and it never worked. Then, I learned about milia, but I couldn’t justify getting a professional extraction for a single tiny bump. I got an extractor, nervously poked the skin around it, pressed…and in 10 seconds, the milia of an entire year was gone. It was almost too quick, I could barely process what’d happened.

I use to get scars all over my face from trying to extract milia. I found using less products that exfoliate the skin like salicylic acid, Retinoids, helped reduce mine. Using higher quality moisturizer helps too, skin plumping hydrating ingredients. Hyaluronic acid, ceramides, peptides, pure cold pressed oils like olive, or peanut. Finally got rid of the clusters on my cheek bones.

I'm late to this video but I know precisely what causes mine. I get them on my lower lash line. I figured out it was eye cream, especially thicker types. Years ago, I read an article that advised the use of a BHA toner to eliminate milia. You just have to be consistent, every single day. I used a drop of the toner on a Q-tip to carefully clean the area. Now I use a toner once a day and carefully swipe under my eyes with a cotton pad. I haven't had a milia since. I usually use Soap & Glory's Glow Toner, it has beta hydroxy acids and is reasonably priced. I have just switched to a lactic acid toner and it seems to working just as well.

Skin type: fair, thin, easily reddened, normal to dry. I've only had 3 - 4 milia. They went away after soaking my face under water (bathtub) once a day for 5 days to 2 weeks. After bathing I made sure I moisturized well. I got rid of my infant niece's milia by massaging her little nose gently with jojoba oil after first very gently wetting the area with room temp. water. I wet her nose to moisturize the skin; I gently dried the area; and then I immediately followed with massaging jojoba oil into it 1 to 2 times per day. I got rid of her minor cradle cap that way too. I would then gently brush the cradle cap area briefly with a soft baby's hair brush, starting on day 3 or so. We have very thin skin in our family though, so it may not take as long to clear up these skin problems on us as it does for those with thicker skin. For my milia (not my niece's) and the prevention of 80% - 90% of my zits, I've noticed that leaving sweat on my skin is a major culprit. The sodium in the sweat dries out my skin which leads to all kinds of problems including multi-pore zits. (This definitely causes my non-hormonal zits, my present theory is that it also seems to bring about the milia when conditions are right.) When my skin gets too dry from sweat/dry air/skipping a wash and isn't gently exfoliated every 3 days or so, skin problems ensue. To prevent this, in winter (ND/MN) I use a heavy, moisturizing cleanser 2x/day. Every second or third day or so I really clean off the residue from the heavy cleanser (and lotions/oils) with a gentle gel cleanser and make sure to exfoliate so that the cleanser's residue (that locks in moisture most days) doesn't build up and cause dead skin cells to block my pores. I'll use moderately rich moisturizers/lotions in winter, sometimes with hyaluronic acid, to lock in moisture as well. And I try to keep the humidity in my place at 40% minimum. I have to rewash/moisturize if I've been outside in dry, cold air. I've had luck with collagen masks as well. They aren't essential, but they feel great afterwards and really moisturize my skin. I can't emphasize enough to young ones in sports: get that sweat off your skin pronto. Gently, and regularly. Make sure to include your hairline and then moisturize. Ask for help finding the right cleanser and moisturizer if you're having trouble. I'd do far better at this if I were that age again than I did my first time around. Good luck all! (Some people's skin is easily affected by the food they eat as well. Read about ayurvedic medicine if you think yours might be. It helped me a lot, esp. in summer weather.)

I had gotten a Milia on my upper waterline awhile ago and it was actually pretty painful because it would rub my cornea. I always take off make double cleanse etc with non comodogenic cleansers that are eye safe, so I was confused as to how I got one. But anyways I almost always have sterile 18 gauge needles lying around becasue my horse has allergies and I give her immunotherapy every month, so I just took one of the needles and poked right on top and it popped right out. All was well and it healed great, and then I developed my first ever stye in the same spot but by that point I figured out my mascara was expired so I got new stuff and got antibiotics from my ophthalmologist and now I'm all better. But just make sure yall get new mascara frequently!

I get milia on my eyelid and under eyes, cautiously using chemical exfoliants, like salicylic acid and glycolic acid, has helped me prevent more milia but also helps with any that are already present. I always attributed my milia to my oily skin, but my son gets milia on his cheekbone just below the under eye area and I have noticed he gets them from roughly rubbing or tugging his skin.

I’m pretty certain my milia is caused partly by genetics since my dad has it. Ive tried exfoliating and using a retinol eye cream and I think the eye cream kind of worked but I still have a couple that have poked through! I have a weird tip for anyone who finds a brand new milia, I put a pimple patch on one once because I thought it was a new pimple forming, when I took the patch off in the morning, I gave the area a light squeeze and a milia popped out!! It was amazing. This only works on milia that are just forming though, usually when it’s still slightly sore and you can’t tell if it’s a pimple or milia yet

There’s definitely a hereditary component, since my dad, me and both of my brothers all get a few of them around our under eye/cheek area. I began using a spin brush when I wash my face (I know it can be taboo to use physical exfoliation, but I strictly avoid using any chemicals on my skin, so this is the best option for me) and after several months my largest and most obvious milia finally fell off on its own! I was thrilled. 😊 The other ones I have are much smaller and honesty not very visible at all, so I feel much better about my skin’s appearance now. ❤

I get them extracted when there are heaps of them, but otherwise I just accept them, I think being around the eye, they don't really make you look dirty or anything. (Not that other skin conditions should be judged by people either). My beauty therapist told me its common with people who have eczema and asthma (I have both). I haven't read the research, but I wonder if it's related to my dustmite allergy, since that's what triggers my eczema and asthma? Would love to hear thoughts. Thanks for the video!

I'm thinking about suggesting the Inkey List Retinol eyecream to start with, but I'm loathe to reccommend a chemical exfoliation unless I know it's not going to cause any damage. She does have pretty tolerant skin, in that it doesn't get irritated by fragrances etc, but she's not a skincare person, so hasn't done much of anything else for me to know what, if anything she might react to.

I am too late to the proper skincare game! Previously, I would look up any influencers' recommendation on skincare and products. Once I found Dr. Dray, Dr. V, Dr. Maxfield and Dr. Shah's Doctorly, Dr. Daniel Sugai's channels, I have stopped watching influencers like Hyram, James Welsh, and others. I would trust the advice and recommendation of the dermatologists who studied skin for 12 years and literally in practice treating patients (theory + experience) more than influencers. Thank you. Thank you. I cannot be grateful enough for you Dr. Maxfield and Dr. Shah. I feel like I wanna send you a gift. 🙏

I think I had milia under my eyes a few years ago- not directly under, they were at the bottom of the "eye bag" area- and they weren't going away from months. one day I *very careful* applied my lactic acid serum to the area and repeated each evening. within a week they were gone and never came back again ! not sure if that's recommended but it certainly worked for me lol

I tried an extraction at home and it hurt soooooo much 😭. I realized thick moisturizer under my eyes made it worse. I switched to an eye serum and eye cream and some went away over time. I finally went to a dermatologist and they numbed it and extracted most of them. I still have a few small ones, but I'm okay with that. Also, they prescribed Retin-A which is helping since it's an exfoliant. It takes time, but I'm okay with that, too.

@makaithreads2261 prescription Tretrinoin, prescription Retin-A, is a natural exfoliant. It promotes skin cell turnover. Don't take my word for it. Ask several licensed Dermatologists or do Google searches and read articles from reputable sources.

I had it for the first time some weeks ago. And it’s also the first time I’m following a skincare routine from dermatologists in social media. My skin never liked anything on it and was always perfect. I’ve started using some products to fight aging spots, but my skin still feels amazing and very balanced. Makes me think how even widely acclaimed products in social media can be bad for some people.

I did not do eyeliid area for many years but started carefully every third night then every second then was able to tolerate every night. Getting back to it tonight and hopefully it will go away on its own. LOVE your channel guys, watched it early, you are doing well!

Consider applying vitamin E oil topically, supposed to reduce appearance of scars. Iodine may also, but I'd say do a LOT of research before using it.

I get these dang things all the time, but they're so close to my eyes (often somewhere along my eyelids) that I can't do anything about prevention. But I also get big cysts on my scalp, so I'm assuming it's a whole genetic thing. Between my PCOS, hypothyroid and all their symptoms, I just won the genetic lottery!

Learn about "carnivore diet" - Dr. Shawn Baker has 2 channels here on youtube, one has testimonials for all sorts of health issues getting better including menstrual issues. Iodine helped my ovarian cysts go away and stay away. I can't give advice on taking it, try to find a doctor that helps patients use it. I know Dr. David Brownstein does.

Thank you for this but could you tell us exactly what cleanser to use, what not to use and what moisturizer to use to eliminate milia. Also is there a tool we should order and if so which one? I do use a retinoid at night but I can’t use it around my eyes or eyelids and I just recently had a milia in my eyelid. Would love specifics and if you can also share clean beauty products too for milia and skincare in general too. Thank you

But once I realised it was milia and I couldn’t really put SA in my eye, I pricked the skin with a clean needle and used two q tips to extract it. Don’t be mad at me lol.
