I am Brazilian and I live in Brazil, I watch these videos a lot of reunions of soldiers returning, in addition to these beautiful moments, there is another thing that also moves me and makes me sad is how many thousands of these will never happen because their loved ones fell in battles.

Dont speak to adults unless spoken too, no crying unless its somewhere where nobody can see, if you want to ask dad something it has to go through mom to him...you dont talk to him yourself, no physical contact hugs or kisses, and no I love yours or I'm proud of you. Once you are kicked out of the house you arent welcome back.....your an adult now. That's how you do it. Try that for multiple generations.

If anyone is going through this, you're not alone! I have a brother in the Navy that I haven't seen for 3 years. I miss him so much. He was down in Florida this summer and my brother, his girlfriend, and son went down to see him. I didn't get because it was only for them and their side of the family. I did get pictures, though. My favorite picture was a picture of my baby nephew in a Navy Seals uniform and my brother in the same one holding him. Long live these soldiers and God bless them
To all the men and women putting your lives on the line so we can safely wash our cars, drink $7 dollars coffees, and watch reruns of Jackass, and live our lives 99% of the time with no fear...THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE! ...and thank you to the families as well that allow their love ones to be away from them for so long to give us the protection to do the silly things we do each day.

I am on a holiday back at home, more like leave due to health reasons. I serve in the Indian Army. I wish sometimes if only someone was waiting for me here. But being an introvert and raised by grandmother who has passed away rip. No friends, no family. Miss you grandmaa
