Bitchute Channel: www.bitchute.c... In this video I show as an example the East German Gen 2 web gear set-up and also use a plain leather belt with pouches for bolt action rifles.
Great video!, for someone who has ran a WW2 German based kit, it was still informative. My kit theirs handcrafted leather equipment, as well as modern, and old fashioned equipment, a good mix ain't ever hurt anyone. Which is one thing i like about belts, you can put just about anything on them.
Another timely video! Thanks!! Just a word of caution on "reproduction/reenactor" gear. Most of it is made in China and should not normally be considered as combat worthy. Do not confuse that stuff with "military surplus" from many foreign countries: some is really a bargain. Right now we have options. In the future, we may not. Your life may depend on your combat gear... choose carefully. There's still lots of ACU pattern Molle gear available at fairly reasonable prices, but it won't last forever (if you can't stomach the color, spray paint it). If you're paying any attention, you can see the writing on the wall.
I'm curious to see if you could use paste mink oil on that leather etool carrier to soften it up. That trick saved my old jungle boots, the leather was so dried out and starting to crack.
