@@user-cb2oj9oy6cWell, the movie was developed with a certain type of sass and I actually like her voice. Alot of us are tired of the same old "grew up during segregation so they can't talk worth anything." The only thing most of us know about that poor state is James Meredirh.
I feel she was equal to if not better than Viola and Octavia. I have nothing against Octavia but her performance wasn't as heavy as Bryce's nor as complicated. She should have been nominated for all the major awards.

@deeknits I mean hilly deserved it with how she treated Minnie and its telling that missus walters showed Minnie more kindness and the fact she had 2 slices so it's funny with the mama laughing at hilly
As vile and contemptuous Hilly is, BDH deserves all the praise in the world for this role. It is truly the hallmark of an actor when they can make you absolutely hate a villain.
Right? Bryce Dallas Howard seems like she’s a perfectly nice person in real life. The fact that she was able to turn herself into such an evil character is truly a testament to her acting skills.
When i watched this scene for the first time i actually thought see put something in the pie to make her vomit or take a poop. Never in my wildest dream did i think it was actual poop. 😅😅😅
when I first watched it, I watched on Paid per view in my house. Before I watched it my neighbor who lives across the street told me about that scene. When you already know what is coming, that scene is a riot.
You mean she couldn't taste the pie was off? I thought for a minute she had made it up but later she said she just wanted to see her take a bite. This scene and the jail scene at the end of this vid was so funny. Sissy Spacek did it in this scene!
