1. treat failure as feedback 2. set your goals and plan your time around them 3. learning insatiably 4. make your own luck 5. saying no a lot 6. taking care of your health
If you're reading this, I pray that God bless your health, financial wealth, and success. Stop procrastinating and don't give up! Your work will soon pay off. 💪🏾
You might have health and never achieve wealth. You might even go broke and be very healthy as well. What we want is both health and wealth. Lot of money to spend.
“… and, no matter how much money you have, you can’t enjoy it if you’re DEAD” absolutely loved that! You are candid, raw, and completely absent of BS. I’m really inspired by your channel!
Wow. I subconsciously did #3. I made my own luck and was able to retire early. So many coworkers keep coming up with reasons they'll never be able to retire. Meanwhile, I kept crafting my path to retirement. Making changes as needed. My job now is to improve my health. The goal is to live more years in retirement than I did working!❤
Thank you Rose. I have at age 65 let my health slide to a bad place. I need to make small changes and start moving back to a more healthy and happier way of life. No more excuses. Stop complaining and take action. Just found you on youtube and am blessed to watch your videos. Thank you. God bless.
I loved that you had Albert as a mentor. I think another thing that can hold people back are their financial beliefs. What they hold “true” in their minds. It’s unlocking those beliefs that can break down financial fences in life.
As someone who's been struggling to get my life together, I've put in countless hours watching videos such as yours. But this was finally the one that I truly connected with. Everything you talked about are things I wanted someone such as yourself to address and I finally got it. Thank you so much. I think I might finally be able to turn my life around!
This is one of the best productivity blogs I have ever seen. I am retired and well past the stage of trying to become a millionaire but roses presentation can be applied to so many things like improving your health, starting a new chapter of your life, watching your finances, etc.. I am going to keep this presentation for a long time to come.
Rose…remember last year when we got scammed by people impersonating you? As you know, we are an older couple, and we got scammed out of our entire their life savings. What I don’t get is, Rose, you KNEW it was going on and did nothing. It was a very elaborate con, so we put it all on rosehanscam for all to see- It’s very sad that you didn’t do a thing to protect us all. Why didn’t you take responsibility? Rose…why? You were kind at first, but then you got defensive once you saw that it was truly your fault for not letting everyone know…and then you ghosted us.
One thing I need to do is to include fun and rewards in my yearly goals. I have been working so hard for so long to build wealth, and I have been so self-disciplined and strict with spending that I have forgotten how to enjoy myself. Every day is working out at the gym, putting in a full day at my job, then coming home, cooking dinner and doing household chores. I rarely go out to dinner or a movie. I have been so ruthless at investing and creating multiple income streams, it has consumed all my time for years - and now I'm super boring.
It's all about ying and Yang, the world, your body, your mind, your wallet, everything needs balance. Just don't take on any debt to eliminate all your hard work 😎
I think it is important to have an outgoing fun friend group. Relationships aren't as good because they can get boring and routine too. It is nice to have a fun group of friends who pushes you to do things.
Saying 'no' to toxic family members by any means. Thats the one i prefer the most. If you do that your mind opens up, you start doing things the way you want to, the speed you want to, and become passionate about. Finding how to be passionate and keeping it up is they key.
SO inspired by this. I stopped what I was doing and took notes into Notion so I can identify what I need to change. I will be sharing with my husband and kids. I love your humility and realism, your understanding of what really matters, despite your wealth. I will be following. Thank you for this inspiring content.
Your very inspiring! Your right! I’m going to STOP making excuses! Don’t be afraid to be someone who repeats information. Sometimes it takes YOU for that one person to finally hear their answer.
Thanks Rose great list and another great reference is the book or workbook of "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People". And, mentors are very important and never stop being inquisitive and learning. No one owes you a job or respect, it's earned and expect folks to treat you just like you treat them.
Thank you Rose! I am getting richer since I followed your channel. I wasted a lot of free time before. Now most of my free time I spend on is reading books, all the books you mentioned I bought them all. After spend some time on those books, OMG my financial education went from 0 to the sky. Thank you very much Rose!
Thank you Rose- I’ve been feeling down and this video reminded me of the things going right and the things I need to make habitual again. It’s ok to fail- but learn from the setback- you are so appreciated
The level of gratitude I have for you Rose and your mission to share your light with us is ineffable. I will simply say thank you and may you and yours remain abundantly blessed.
Thank you Rose! So happy for you and glad you are still making content. Goal setting and continual improvement are definitely keys to how my wife and I achieved so much so far. Got over $2M in 401K and stock, water view home near a major city, rental property in the major city, kids' college paid for, newer cars, stable high paying jobs (CPA and benefits consultant) with option to work from home, all from goal setting and continual improvement. It is funny to look back at my wife's goals from high school... she wanted to be married by 25, 2 kids before 30, and we did those. Mine were buying a house right after college and getting married by 27... which those were achieved as well (1st home is now a rental property). We have always been frugal savers that worked since high school, because we had these goals. Good luck out there and set your goals reasonably high... you will be surprised what you can achieve.
I love Rose's content and genuine advice. It definitely inspires me to keep trying. Sometimes it feels like it is all significantly more difficult to achieve with children in the picture and that's something most of the financial educators online do not relate to. Glad to hear you were able to achieve your goals, even with kids (or including kids).
Thank you Rose!! #5 hit home and my favorite because I always feel so guilty for saying saying no but this helps me as a reminder that I have to say no to somethings in order to reach my goals ~ thank you!!
This was a much needed wake up call for me. When I retired from the Navy Single and with no kids(That I know of) I developed terrible habits living in Las Vegas.
Doing only things that only "serves you" is a bit selfish. Life is about helping those around you. If God blesses you with wealth, he can also take it away from you so don't stop giving back

I like rose and her content but this is nothing but a puff piece. While watching I already guessed it was something along the lines of "accept failure, don't give up, never stop learning, find a mentor, take some time to yourself". This feels like something any of us could have come up with.
Aw this was inspiring Rose thank you for sharing. We were really down about the pandemic years and how we went from a 6 figure household to literally destitute and homeless. And no we are not spenders and were already minimalists with barely any furniture before things went sour. My spouse is still trying to find new work and I'm exhaustively working multiple companies. This was a relief to watch and can encourage us that we don't have to be in a rut forever.
finally, someone genuine enough to not fall for this wake up early trend. I dont also, the important is to sleep enough. It doesn't matter how early you start your day if you are to be tired and unproductive this day. I wake up at 8h30 also on week days and after my 9 to 6 job I still take time during the evening to work on my personnal projects and this is the way I feel I progress the most. The emphasis needs to be on having great reparative sleep.
Rose Congratulations on finding success and investing in yourself. I graduated college in 1990 and worked for companies until right after 9/11 and lost my job. After that happened I decided to go against the norm and became self employed to take full control of my destiny. It was the best decision I ever made, so keep looking forward and continued success in your journey. From one Korean to another Congratulations
I made my first million later in life. From my knowledge, waking up early enables us more time to do our daily tasks. We tend to be clearer and more focus.
Great video. I made my first £1 million aged 26. I’m now 43 with a net worth of £4.8 million. I could double my wealth but I’m happy at this level. I invest in property and the stock market.
I learned at an early age "that if it sounds too good to be true, than it probably is" that lesson costs me thousands of dollars, but it also saved me much more later in life!
@@adrianavargova I invested in trailers that paid me a return of around 21% per year, this lasted for around 7 years, and I would have made money if I would just stopped buying "contracts" but that 21% was just too good to be true and when the man I was getting my checks from disappeared I ended up losing money and a lot of trailer titles that were useless paper!
Hmmm ... 7:14 "don't blame [others] for your circumstances." Well, but sometimes others who you trust or depend on do bad sh^t to you, which adversely affects your circumstances. I would say don't accept your present circumstances as your FUTURE, regardless of whether your "failure" to reach your goal was caused by you or by someone else. Ask yourself: what are all the ways I can avoid that "failure" from happening again so I can reach my goal from my present circumstances? Keep preaching Rose!
So true...and so well said as always! If I may, this is more abstract at first, but a 7th habit could be "connect more with our Cosmos". That's seeing how everything is connected and then there's more clarity of what is and could be, more opportunities will show themselves without having to seek them, etc. Thanks Rose!
Agree with fear of failure... I'd like to add that over the years I've learned that many people actually have a fear of Success... It means "change". Most of us don't like change.
Hello Rose, Great to hear and see you again. Love your passion and enthusiasm. Your a smart intelligent girl and an inspiration to watch. I'm learning loads from you. Keep those videos coming. Cheers
i love how nice and down to earth you seem to be. i'm not in for becoming a millionaire, but i'm a very curious person, so i watched your video anyhow. let me tell you this : your video really is about rising above one's circumstances and crafting a good life for oneself, no matter the end goal one chooses to pursue. for that, thank you so very much, i will strive to apply the main idea i picked up from this, to improve every day, no matter how tiny that improvement may be. sending you much love, and wishing you all the best in life.
Hi Rose, I've been following you on and off for a few years and you've always struck me as someone truly genuine and I'm so happy for your success! This video is one of the best of its kind that I've seen on here. All the best to you, sweetheart 🙂 👌

Rose! My daughter (17) and I just completely enjoy you! If you’re ever in the Bay Area and doing your van journey, you have a place to do laundry, rest and replenish!
Thanks for sharing this insightful video on the habits of successful millionaires. It's always fascinating to learn about the mindset and behaviors that have led to financial success for others. While everyone's path to wealth may be different, adopting these habits can certainly help set individuals on a path towards achieving their financial goals.
Excellent video! I follow all of these as well and it propelled my wealth into 7 figures from a negative 6 figure net worth. I agree with all of these!
I love this *SO MUCH.* Thank you very much, you hit so many points on questions I have or things I'm actually realizing. For example, habit #1, I used to just beat myself up and call myself a loser every failure but now I *refuse* to be my own worst enemy. I've grown to understand that failure just means I need to reflect on what I'm doing and tweak it. I've also began going to the gym, walking 30 mins on the treadmill, starting off small. I also love that you spoke about people that drain energy, I have someone like that in my life, I'll try the only texting method. Thank you so much! Thank you for taking us on your journey & educating us every step of the way. Sending you light, prosperity, clarity, health, and love to you and your loved ones.
When you said age 32 I was like 💃🏾I'm 32 this year and age is really nothing but a number ❤ love this vedio 😅 sometimes almost everyone is saying the same thing now after hearing you with this it's helped so much I have a daughter and it's not easy to always do things a certain way although everything you said I am already mastering so thank you for the confirmation
Firstly, your content is always great and digestible - thank you! Second, I'm intrigued about all the wisdom+ you've gained/ learned from 'Albert' - perhaps do regular segments called 'What I've learned from Albert - {topic}' - it'll be an homage to Albert as well as paying it forward/ teaching
Finally! I always thought it's silly when ppl would just say: journal. I hate journaling, so what? I'm not becoming a millionaire because my daily routine doesn't look like SOME of the famous rich ones? The fun fact is just make it done, how you're going to do that, it's up to you. Some ppl love to work in the mornings. Some at nights. Some day by day, some would burst with power & work like maniac for a shorter period of time. Some like to plan, some go with the flow. Thank you for pointing out the really important and absolutely essential stuff: stay healthy, try to sleep:) and do the work that's need to be done:)
Greetings from Laguna Beach, California really enjoy your channel. You’re right about one’s health , all the money in the world doesn’t help if you’re not healthy.
I appreciate how you closed your video by saying "same time, same place" even though these videos are an asynchronous and asymmetrical mode of communication, the habit of establishing a place and time for the next meeting before the end of the current one is key to maintaining continuity in a relationship; even when it's purely symbolic, it's an essential skill and one that my generation needs to begin taking advantage of, so I'm glad you're demonstrating it. Thank you for sharing these tips and stories.
I really love your content. It's not really generic which is great, (I initially expected generic stuff like productivity advices that sounds counterproductive since it drains you at some point. Some content creators make unrealistic lists of stuff to do in a day which I bet they don't even follow regularly). You were also able to put more details about the each habits in the outline. I only got into the habit of writing down good stuff last year and whenever I come across your videos and it helped me rewire my mindset. There are a few people I follow about finance, but yours is one of my favs because it's direct, relatable and it really feels like talking to a friend who teaches me about finance.
Its so easy to postpone things you want or need in your life. Its best to act on your wishes, rather than making up excuses. For instance, during the pandemic me and my wife weren't feeling well locked up in our flat, so we decided to look for a house with a bit of a yard. Even thought that wasn't on our list, unless maybe 30 years later, we did our best and managed to buy a house. Sure it wasn't easy and it still isn't since its a mortgage, but that turned our life around for the best. We also work from home, which is also something that we wouldn't give up ever again. My point is if you have a goal and really set your mind on it it will amaze you how much you can accomplish by doing everything in your power to move into that direction. Thanks Rose Han for this amazing video.
What is REALLY important that you enjoy the time spending on building a career, a business and make money. If you enjoy it, you are passionate about it then it meens you are doing it right.
Great video. Thanks for sharing your success habits. At the end of the day, we each must do what works for us as individuals first. So for some, success habits could start with fire-walking, or a daily cold shower, or getting up at 3:00AM, or working out every morning at 5:00AM.....etc. Whatever gets you across the goal line hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, yearly.
I clicked on this video because it had “waking up early” crossed in the title 😅 very enthusiastic person but could have had a calmer voice, I’m hearing you :) and less is sometimes more. Overall, very genuine talk and there is a big ambition as a driving force to her success, her advice is nothing new, most books recommend setting priorities, saying no, getting feedback etc. Good to hear about how one has implemented all these recommendations in their life, was successful without compromising her health and what matters at the end. There is no much about what gives her energy except a list of inspiring books. The goals she has set for herself are not revealed. Is the ultimate goal of mastering your personal development and measuring it by achieving a material success? Typical American dream or something else?
Rose, thanks so much for putting up this video together because this is all so realistic and doable for me. Keep up the good work and continue educating people!
I've had a lot of feedback, and at age 45 and leaving drugs and booze behind and replaced that with reading about things I'm interested in. it's like a magic trick my life has change so much, my life is the fire.
Really quality content. Thanks for sharing. One piece of (unsolicited) feedback: Your audio is a tad harsh on the ears when there's an inflection in your voice. I'm not sure how to fix that but I think a small tweak would make your message easier to hear as I could turn the volume up higher. I appreciate you sharing your content!
I was watching you back in the day, you've grown so much on RU-vid! Congratulations, it's a real grind that I always fizzled out on but I really admire your approach
Making your own luck is an important one. I have no many people in my life who just like to complains and they think what I have is because I’m “lucky”, what they don’t see is that I spend my weekends and evenings to studyand upskill myself when they party every week until morning.
Hello from the East Coast, Great video, Rose. Working hard, being smart about it, pays off later in life. I do appreciate & agree with most of what you explain in this video. never change & be safe !
There is one more tip I can add (though its not actually a habit). And that is, dont ever think you are too old to start any of this. There is no rule which says you have to do anything at any given stage of life. There are 90 year olds who get married for the first time, expecting it to last forever. They know, logically, that is not true. But they have a certain mindset and purpose which tells them in their heart that it is. And I think it is this mentality which moves them forward.

-GOD -I gave importance to get closer to God first, to have a good and strong spiritual being and guidance. -GOALS - Secondly stay focus on goals -GO - 3rd is Go for it and do it ,work for it, a chair would not move itself if you don’t move a chair. Same as goal nothing will work if don’t go work for your goals -GROW - 4th is Grow , when you get into right track , Grow to achieve your dreams successfully.Mistakes may happens along the path but never stop learning and grow from it
Only God knows how much grateful i am. After so much struggles I now own a new house and my family is happy once again everything is finally falling into place!!
i would disagree about the fact that successful people are healthy - that's actually not so common as so many successful people have traded what got them to success for their health - so so many people who are millionaires have health issues and conversely a lot of successful people pay a LOT to try preserving their health. the conjunction of health and success is not that trivial or simple, and it is largely based on values. good health also comes and goes and many relatively healthy people cannot predict whether or not they will succumb to illness or accidents
Great advice that is much needed to help the youth. As a senior citizen who has confirmed this recipe of success, be careful not to let money become your God. Money is the root of all evil. Give always to counter from getting to that point.
You are so pretty and you have such a wonderful energy that I can’t help but smile as I watch and listen to you😊 I’m 58 years old. I’m far from being a millionaire. But I wake up when my body tells me it has had enough rest. And then I’m excited to move forward in my day and do what I have to do🎉
